I was doin a roadcall at an asphalt plant,driver was up in his body spraying it with fuel so the asphalt doesn’t stick,when he was climbing out he grabbed a rung ,there spikey so you don’t slip,but he grabbed the top and jumped from the bottom rung,hooked his ring and de gloved his finger,pretty much flipped his finger inside out and left the meat and ring on the truck…was gnarley
I took a guy from work riding once, he had some low ass crash bar on hit bike. I wanted to rip some corners so I told him that, not to follow me, go his own speed and I'll wait for him at the next stop sign. Sat there for a few minutes and knew something was wrong, head back and he low sided on his crash bar. Found him face down in the ditch, missed an oncoming car who turned out to be a nurse. Couple busted ribs and road rash but he was ok.
I would love a K bar if you ever build one for forward controls. We with late model FXDWGs are stuck with forwards. Plus many other Dyna riders convert to forwards. I would love mids but can't have them. Make a crash bar for us?!
@ianm432 true that, so change the inner n outter primary, new linkage n peg mounts...nothing to it, use oem parts n not tc bros is my personal preference

Can you do a big bear rear motor mount install nobody has anything good with taking out the old motor mount

I got the same 13.5" drag specialties rear shocks, except black not chrome...1 season on them and so good so far🤘

That’s what the bottom sliders are for. And a shifter cost about 20 bucks. A gas tank cost about 2000.

My 09' fxd had forwards when I bought it, threw all that forwards in the trash n got OEM middies 🤘 you won't regret it !
