  • Compared to the original, the DD2 features more width in the nose and tail, more nose and tail rocker, and a more subtle single concave. This along with a few more tweaks allows the board to excel in a wider range of conditions and let you rip even harder.
The idea for the Dumpster Diver 2 came from Dane Reynolds surfing the original Dumpster Diver whilst filming "Out the Rafters". Dane was blown away by how the Dumpster Diver felt and was inspired to create a longer and more modernized version.

Upper range of the board? CI says small waves but could you push it in overhead waves?

We think it's going to be a good all-rounder for UK waves. It will grovel well, but you'll definitely be able to take it out in better surf too. It's not good-wave board though, so if you wanted something primarily for overhead waves, we'd recommend something a little different. The Two Happy, or the CI 2.Pro/Pro maybe. But if you want a board to keep in the car for whatever waves you come across, this will be the one.

@@downthelinesurfshop how does this compare against a rocket wide? A tad more performancy with more control in punchier waves?
