Jiwoong's tone of voice is so interesting and so different. To me if he gets the right lines in the song he can leave a lasting impression. For me this album was no skip. Maybe I'm biased bc of watching boys planet

I think Ricky is inspired by rnb. He has mentioned in a written interview he wants to cover cracks of my heart by Eric benét and has mentioned silk sonic in the past. to me I think he knows where his strengths are as a vocalist.

Theres going to be a lot of drum&base/uk garage kpop songs this year. I think jiwoong has very nasal placement where you prefer more open sound. Same!thank goodness they are focusing on vocals (i prayed) they are a vocal group they should SING
And I is definitely my fave song on the album, but I love Hao's solo too. I saw someone on twitter say that ZB1 makes girl group songs, and I feel like that is so true. All of their songs, I could hear a girl group sing, which is why I think I like them so much (not that I'm not a bg stan) 😅

This song sounds like a 2nd generation Kpop song, even the refreshing concept of the song gives me 2nd gen vibes (kind of reminds me of Teen Top). I don’t know this group, but the chorus of the song is super catchy & the dance is easy but fun. This song will definitely be popular (especially in this TikTok dance era).
Didn’t watch the show at all or really pay attention to the teasers and their vids but Zang Hao definitely has that star quality something in his eyes is a little different 👀
also lemme just say that the music video DID NOT do justice for how gorgeous this song and this choreo actually are. i already liked In Bloom, but after watching their showcase performance i can easily say that it’s my favorite group sound from a Mnet survival show Wakeone really has a way of making me hate their debut mvs 💀

Did you feel that they were equally refreshing or do you feel one is more than the other? Personally, I feel they are about the same level of freshness, but BND felt a little brighter and ZB1 feels a bit more chill. With so many fresh concept girl groups debuting and doing well last year, I wonder how many of the boy groups left to debut in 2023 will also walk the fresh path.
