Play Games wouldve been better if they allow sideloading non-approved apps. The library is limited, and they need the developers to request and modify their android app to make it work with GPG. So if the dev doesnt wish to bother doing that, then its not in the library even though the game is a very simple idle game.
It would make so much sense for FGO, FEH, and a lot of other gatchas to be ported over. The app isn't gonna gain much traction if Google don't push devs harder for more ports.
@@davidhegstrom21 The purpose for GPG is to allow people to play android games on a first party google-made android emulator on their PC so they dont have to buy a new android device or run third party emulators. I you have a legion pro i dont see why you would want to use GPG at all except when you are using the PC. GPG is for the PC, if you want portable gaming get a handheld android device, or a phone.
can you compare it to different android emulator for example ldplayer, bluestack, etc, for their performance and power consumption compare to google play game?
It performs 20x better than third part emulators that are riddled with adware with maybe 1/6th of the available library. If the game you play is available on the Google Play beta then I would recommend it 1000 times over any other.
There is something called Waydroid that you can use on Linux - not sure if it'll work on Steam OS (especially with Steam OS being immutable) but might be worth a shot
Playing Clash of Clans amd Kingdom Rush when my iPad’s screen broke. My desktop is a Ryzen 5 3400G with RX 6400 GPU. Was a cool backup until I got my iPad fixed
@davidstechart1168 yeah just downloaded it right now, unfortunately there's a lot more fixing on this beta. I was downloading my clash of clans. But you can't zoom in or zoom out on the screen and a bit laggy
Oh i see no problem we wait till they fix thins but this does makes sense on the Legion Go because the Legion Go can be used also as a tablet. Infact a powerful portable tablet. I give the Legion Go the Best Handheld PC of the year honestly.
I felt this was required because its such a big open market and will really help google allot there some good flight sims on here that maybe not as complex as dcs.
this would be sick if mobile games were actually good. on the other hand the mobile market is filled with such slop not even sweet baby inc seems to want to touch it, so that's a plus i guess
I used to have an iphone a long time ago and so it's iphone games i personally wouldn't mind been able to play on PC or ideally the Deck. There were alot of decent games like backstab.
Why would anyone get banned for the device they play on? Especially via an approved method. Is a specific dev doing this? Playing android on PC has been a thing for many many many years now.
I installed this and it is only showing 5 games, none of them mine, rather than my hundreds of games. Why would this be? It is showing nothing but those 5 games in my library, despite being signed in.
Why the hell would I want to do that? That's like going to a steakhouse and asking them if they serve those nasty dollar store microwave cheeseburgers!
I've tried 3 different controllers (Nvdia Shield, PS4, and Stadia). They connect to my laptop and mini desktop but the "View Game Controller" option is grayed out in the settings on both laptop and mini desktop. Anyone have any suggestions ?
Thank you BlueStack for everything you have done for us for 15 years, we are grateful to you, I hope that when play game becomes popular you will be proud of us for having used you for 15 years🫡 rest in peace (when you die) 2009-2024
Next video you can talk about emulation on apple store and what that means for laptop tablet etc for apple. Mr ETA PRIME. Mr Sujano says that's a thing.
I use Samsung Dex for big screen Android gaming and get good performance so I have no need for this (I use a Galaxy S10+), but this is still pretty cool!

Hey man 👋 Can you tested on pc handheld ? Like ROG Ally or Lenovo Legion Go ? Cause I’m curious if game like CODM, PUBG or Genshin Impact can be played using the touchscreen system like normal mobile device 🙏
This Genshin Impact is literally the PC one. Even the drive to run has to be the old one, otherwise it won't open. 😭 At least in my case with the Intel Graphic 2500
Wasn't Microsoft adding direct support to run .apk files natively? I remember seeing something about it from their beta program but never looked into it

First thing I thought of too.
Well the legion go comes with native Android system that you can add what you want in it or get a android emulator that uses up less resources to run

thanks for this man, been wanting to play games on PC for a long time now, but I've never quite managed to invest in a gaming rig.
I suspect that by the time you install it, Google would have ditched the project - just like everything else they do :D.

That FN Awesome can't wait for the full version of Google play Games for PC...

ok so?
Why didn't you let us know?
wow you are so cool...
i have i3 8130u with UHD620 and a HDD games feel very smooth on these specs also. Games like FREE FIRE MAX and clash of clans run without any issue
But the loading time is little long I think it is because of HDD
I somewhat lost interest in the part @4:00 where it says "some games require an Intel CPU".
WHY?
i remember trying this already before. but quite buggy... is it better nowadays?
Can you do this on the Steam deck?
