You have such a beautiful, soothing voice! Thank you for doing this. Hard to get out right now and I feel like I got to go garden center shopping. I share your excitement. 😊
I never comment on videos ever. However, your voice is so soothing I have to let you know. I’m just doing my chores and listening. One reason I don’t always subscribe to other channels is because while their content may be great I can listen to their voice. New subscriber here. I’ll be visiting Home Depot soon.
Aah I wondered about the towering stacks of boxes with yet to be unpacked flower bulbs in a garden center yesterday and now youtube recommends this video. Neat!
The thing with the Proven Winners boxes is that you get over 20 items and you get at least 2 Dahlias and the lilies are perennials so they will return and multiply every year! Technically all of them will return if you are in the right zone so I think it's worth it.
Yes, I saw those over the weekend. It's almost that time! The barefoot fruits plants can be great. Sure they take some time to produce but once they start to produce you get something every year without much effort at all.
Just a heads up - I know every store is different - but last year I bought the bare root poppies, rudbeckia and none of them survived. I know it takes a little while for them to grow large enough to bloom, but starting from seed produced plants that survived. I also had a problem with the pomegranate seedlings. Fig bare root are always great. I finally had good luck with the grapes last year, but I started them in a greenhouse in a pot for several months. If you don't see growth on the bare root plants when you buy them, I would think twice.
That's been my experience too. I am more inclined to buy more established edibles. I love figs but I'll likely buy them in the supermarket. I want my garden to be easy, the minute it feels like work, I'm done haha
Beware because many of these bulbs are mislabeled. After buying wrongly labeled bulbs from both Lowe's and Home Depot I'll mail order bulbs from reputable sources. Last summer I bought a packaged dahlia from Home Depot. It was supposed to be burnt orange. It turned out to a horrible hot pink that so clashed with the flowers around it that it went to the compost bin in full bloom. I just saw that they are selling the same one this year.
I am in 7B or 8A however, you want to see it in Maryland and I was just at my Home Depot and didn’t see anything like what you have. I’m going to have to go back and check because I want to try pomegranate again. I have several grapevines and one is a white seedless Concorde and it is the sweetest grape I’ve ever eaten. What is selection, great video!
@@gardeningonpurpose3334 just got back from Home Depot because I had to return something and yes they had all those flowers there! So I was able to buy a pomegranate plant. Hopefully I can grow pomegranates here.
Hi this is Joanne from Fresno California love your channel and could you please help me find some tulips several different variety of tulips thank you I’ll be watching❤
I went to Home Depot today and they had a very small selection, nothing like what you have. But I will keep going back every week to check for more ::D
SO exciting! What zone are you in because I don't think my home depot has them out yet and wondered if its a zone thing? Proven Winner is awesome but I am starting to wonder why them and Monrovia think they are worth so much lol 🙂

Thank you so much. I truly appreciate it. I really enjoy making the videos and happy to see you enjoyed them. Good luck on your gardening as well.
Thanks for sharing this video with us and all the great information. New friend here. Showing you support. Spring will be here soon. Happy gardening
I sure do appreciate it. Thanks so much
Oh how fun!! We can't wait to see signs of spring here in the midwest! Definitely eyeing those PW bulb sets 👀
They are so beautiful you'll be impressed.
Yes, they have a good selection of flowers. I haven't had dahia's in my garden for a while. Thanks for sharing.
I was so happy and impressed to see them.
TY! Didn't see these on my trip there last week. Or I'll be trouble again. I keep buying pots and more pots.... Happy planting!
I go at least twice a week. Ypur sure will get them soon I'm sure. Good luck and happy planting to you as well.

I soooo appreciate you. Thanks so much for your kind words. Good luck on finding what you need as well.
New subbee here... thanks for your time and love for gardening... I've purchased 30 acres that's cow pasture...my future homestead...Ga 8a.
Hi there. Thanks. Wow, that's impressive. Congratulations 🎊 good luck with all the plans I'm sure you have for it.
Aah I wondered about the towering stacks of boxes with yet to be unpacked flower bulbs in a garden center yesterday and now youtube recommends this video. Neat!
Yes, definitely check back.. they might be slow to set them up on display.

That's true. And they are so beautiful
I was jyst at my Home Depot yesterday and was in awe how soon they had put out their seeds and perrenials. Glad to see so many varieties.
It's not too early for seeds! Many people start them now for winter sowing
I had been out last week and nothing but soil, going out today to check them out.
Great video, what a beautiful voice, love from UK 😊
That is so kind. Thanks so much.
I cannot wait to get my hands on those dark purple dahlias!!!
They are gorgeous
Zinnias can be planted anywhere, you just have to remove them in the fall. I am in zone “5”,always have them.
I love them
Those are great prices. I feel like the boxes would be a good solution to have bouquets all summer from a small space
I agree
You better get them now and not wait. They will get damaged by people and growing weakly inside the bags. Don't wait. What you want will be gone.
Thanks. And so true. I did. Just did a video about the ones I picked up.

Thankd. That is so true. I'm more inclined to buy established fruit trees the days.
I bought a pack of 3 peonies tubers/roots for $15 from Home Depot this week and they are healthy and beautiful.
That's wonderful. I love them.
Rudbeckia fulgida blooms the first year even from seed, so bare root should too.
That's really good to know.. thanks so much.

So far so good.. fingers crossed. Last two years I haven't had an issue, but you are right about mislabeled plants for sure.
I love this channel smm🤍
Thank you so much.
You're lucky. I've been to about 6 Lowes/Walmart/Home Depots in the last week and they have just a tiny fraction of what you've shown.
Your stores should be grearing up for a shipment soon. It's definitely high season. Hopefully this weekend.
@@gardeningonpurpose3334 Yes hopefully!!! I always prepare myself for the growing season in January.
I used to work at home depot. These will be half off at the end of spring.
Same with me and astilbe! Thanks for this video, great way for me to get a trip to HD in my pjs on a rainy day 😂.
Thanks so much. I hope you get some great finds at your HD.
I was at Sam’s, they have caladium bulbs ,18 bulbs for 15$
That's good to know. I'll check them out again next week. Thanks so much

Sure. I'll keep an eye out...
Can you grow Dahilas in containers? They are beautiful
Yes I did last year and forgot to bring them in so they got killed during the winter rains and freezes. They are safer in
the ground in my zone(8a).
I went to Home Depot today and they had a very small selection, nothing like what you have. But I will keep going back every week to check for more ::D
Yes, definitely check back. I make it a point to go up there every week. I was so surprised and happy at the great selection. Good luck.
Thanks! I like hot colors. I buy red, orange, yellow and white. I avoid anything pink.
Very nice. I love orange and yellow too.
Thanks for sharing. I will have to check out a few plants you shared. New sub
Thank you so much

I know right? Lol. I'm in zone 8a(GA)
Ixia are like dahlias, zone 8-10. In cooler zones they have to be lifted in winter which is too much bother.
That's good to know. Thanks. I'll do a little research on them as well. They are so pretty
Dahlia will come back in zone 7b of East TN
🙀your video, Thanks
Your location? Love to get some of the PW packages. I’m in Ohio and I bet our HD won’t stock for awhile.
I'm in GA , zone 8A
I would get what you want now cause they will go fast
I should've, I'm definitely going back in a few days. Thanks so much.
@@gardeningonpurpose3334 those Vigoro dahlias are gorgeous
Definitely don't buy any bulbs you can't see! I bought vigoro dahlias and they were shrivelled and dried out.
hi. what zone are you in? not in Tennessee for bulbs yet
Hi. I'm in zone 8a (GA)
There are bulb packs available in East TN at the stores now
