@@Lewy3958 The Crucible,Sheffield in around 1988 was the one when I walked out shaking my head,”Well I’ve seen it and I’ve heard it and I still don’t believe it!!”
THANKS FOR POSTING! JUST INCREDIBLE! LESS THAN A YEAR BEFORE HIS PASSING, AT 69 YEARS OF AGE HASENT LOST A STEP!! BLINDING SPEED, SUPER PRECISION BEYOND WORDS!! WILL ALWAYS BE " THE WORLD'S GREATEST DRUMMER "!!!
Jae Yoon man oh man super super super fantastic. thanks for letting us hear this. Wonderful and words just cant describe his great ness. Love digging on this thank you
I was there that night, July the 18th 1986, & I got there early enough to hear the band rehearsing, so that added to the excitement before going to see the show. I well remember seeing this drum solo, as Buddy was tapping away at his drum stool & various stands, as he used to like to improvise & entertain.I also remember at the end of the concert he walked up to the end of the stage & I was amazed that he was wearing cowboy boots, & I wondered how on earth he still managed to play so well whilst wearing those heavy boots. It was a full house that night, as I expect it was wherever he was playing, & Buddy Rich was the greatest drummer of all time, with such speed, power & control.
I was there that night.Incredible!!
Hi me too Mark , the last of the 168 times that i seen him

Buddy's became more sophisticated as he got older. Less motion but smoother execution and that left hand .....wow! Miss him terribly!
A beautiful performance by Mr. Rich.
The Best.....
God I miss him

Some of the other greats lost it when they got older. Buddy never did. I think just he was best.
