It seems that the new OS is not coded by developers. Its coded by designers and so we have to appreciate a calculator app and some minor „updates“. But Apple has no answer to things that are demanded by the real users, creative professionals. We need file management, more support of desktop like applications and improved multitasking.
I seriously don't know what they do over there. If they go buy a Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra and look at the multitasking, file management and Dex they should be embarrassed. That should be the goal.
iOS 18 beta is surprisingly stable on the iPad Pro M4…. but I agree about Files. I cannot do anything on my Google Drive via Files which is quite a pain. At least I can use the Drive app as a workaround. I guess that’s the price we pay for beta testing. 😊
🐬🐬🐬 I do think that an iPad Air with m2 is just fine for creating and editing pictures and videos. I will get one at the end of the year. Great video man!
Hi . Thanks for your point of view . Can you tell us if apple brought back the split virtual keyboard option in ipad os 18 ? I find it to be a really crucial point for managing the 13 inch model in tablet mode without a physical keyboard ..
Thanks for the video. First I’m a paying RUclips member. My views support your channel. And I’m disappointed when I’ve paid to remove ads, but the still have to skip ads from within your video. It’s disappointing. Second. The typical line is ‘great hardware let down my software’ when really all you want is better file management from the files app and more flexibility in window management. Those are not PRO features 😂. The fact you can do 3d modelling, photo editing, video editing, music making on this tablet this thin and with no fan IS incredible. The keyboard and Smart Case upgrades are great in themselves. I have an iPad M4 13 inch 1TB glossy and even without iPadOS 18 I’m enjoying using it more than my m2 13 inch. File management could be better, especially when moving files from one app to the next or even when attaching files in third party email apps. But it’s not a deal breaker.
I agree Rjey. I use my IPAD M4 13 8 or more hours a day! And that is my personal time. I bring it to work and access my IPAD several times a day at work. So, I am a fan.
Can someone explain why is it so hard for Apple to get Multi-tasking done right on the iPad 🤔 I see folks bickering about it for years now ... We can multi-task on the Windows OS, on Mac OS, on a Linux OS, on a Samsung tablet with ease, even back to like Windows 2000 days, but somehow it is not possible to have a good experience on a Apple iPad device ... how hard can it be to implement 🤔
Does the calculator app have a history button? No? So its still shit. 12 years for a calculator app and still nothing as simple as a history button, but you can use AI for real time calculations.. smh

2018 iPad with M1 chip not exists I think…. That was even before M1 MBair was released ;)

Thin bezels on tablets makes them tough to use if you hold them a lot while using.
