destiny, you have to TRUST THE PROCESS with zodiac academy. PLEASE TRUST ME. i didn't like book 1, i gave it a 3 stars and i was really hesitant about continuing the series. but i continued and oh my god??? i am now in love with the world and the characters. it takes a bit of time but its so so so worth it!!!!
Was coming to say this same thing! Book 1 is my least favorite by FAR. Honestly almost didn’t read the second book but am SO glad that I did, I LOVE the series and am almost to the last book. The thing I tell people is if you’re looking beautiful, serious writing, you won’t find it in ZA. But, the storytelling is so enthralling, it’s an emotional rollercoaster, there’s amazing character development, beautiful relationships, and characters that I despised and now adore. It’s also hilarious. The series doesn’t take itself very seriously and was self published, so you have to go in prepared for a bit of cringe and spelling errors. Lastly, the bully element does go away after like book 2, and the bullying isn’t unique to the main characters - it’s kind of just how this world works

I was so against reading Assistant to the Villain for literally no reason and I finally caved and read it. It shot up to one of my all time favorite books. I immediately had to read the second one. It’s so cozy and funny and everything you need!!
I just finished book 7 in Zodiac. I gave the first book 3 stars, but am really loving it now. It really doesn’t hit its stride until book 3. Go in with low expectations on writing and pacing. The main characters are what made me want to keep going.
The scythe trilogy is so good, you have to get through the first book but the second and third were some of the best books I’ve read this year !!!! It’s incredible

If you haven’t started reading ‘Incidents Around The House’, I recommend audio-booking it! I read the physical and then for giggles started listening to it - it hits so much hard hearing a “child’s” voice narrate it than just reading the physical book!

I am currently reading Zodiac Academy, on book 4. Just a heads up, I think all the books I have read, including book 4, have bully romance in there. And the romance is a major part of the story. So if you don't like it after the first book, keep this in mind. I really like it, it's just fun, spicy, and easy. I mostly read fantasy, so for me, this is just an easy, relaxed, and fun time. It is totally unserious but that's what I like about it.
Whoooo incidents around the house was so good! This was a 1 day read for me, the perspective of the story coming from the child is a wonderful way to write it

I love ZA! You have to get through the first book because there is a whole plot as to why the “bullies” acted/act the way they do. That’s a part of the mystery and there is a reason for everything. Just know that’s not the whole series.
I read one and two of A Deadly Education and really enjoyed both them. I’ve been 45-50ish through the last book for a year now I’m trying so hard not to blame the books. And don’t let vernacular writing style deter you. It isn’t poorly written on purpose.😊

I read the first two Zodiac Academy books. They’re fast reads in my opinion. I wouldn’t say they’re Bully “Romance” but more Bully “Attraction” with plenty of options to be attracted to. Heavy on the Bully as is the nature of Fae though. I’m enjoying them.
I'm currently reading Phantasma now and I'm enjoying it. I read the Truly Devious series and it is one of my favorite series. Deadly Education is another good one. I have had The Night Circus on my bookshelves for a few years if not longer. I really need to get to it. Really interested in hearing your thoughts.Scythe is so good! Neal Shusterman comes up with some interesting concepts. I have also read the Unwind series, Game Changer, Bruiser, and Roxy. His story telling is so good. The concepts he uses in his stories are so creative. Scythe and Unwind are the 2 series I like the most. The others are good and the story line was interesting but not my favorites. I did like them though. I have the Love of My Afterlife and Middle of the Night. Need to read them soon.

The poppy war will change ur life !!! It’s a trilogy :) My favorite was the first one, but just because the rest of the trilogy is very war focused so like binging all three of them back to back was a bit intense lol. R.F. Kuang is one of my absolute favorite authors I LOVED babel and this trilogy.

It is YA romantasy about princess Annika and something between assasin and guard Lennox. Annika's mother disappeared and no one knows where she is and Annika can unlock locks and fight with a sword. Lennox lives with his forgotten clan in castle in lethal forest. Their leader gives him a mission to complete (he needs to be sure he can trust Lennox). This book is a masterpiece!

zodiac academy is the definition of bully romance and it gets ROUGH and it is actually more like 3-4 books of it. but it is an interesting world and if you can get past the bully aspect at first and the writing style, the books have such a wild ride! it didn't need to be as long as 9 books but I am glad I read it I enjoyed it quite a bit. the last 3 books are all over 1000 pages each so. but it is a QUICK read
