I really like how you do your journal. Im hoping to start next year with my own journal and yours is really good inspiration. At 12:35 I think it would help if you made the blue part thicker, so the pink is less noticeable. I agree that the pink is darker than the swatch, but I do like how it looks! The contrast gives your eyes something to focus on.
I think something important to remember is that if you don’t like something you can always cover it up! Paste some paper in (white/brown/colours/patterns/whatever) and rewrite it! Cover things in stickers! There are always options
