You sound fantastic on all of these, Elliot! I had some work done on my horn by Mike and Darrel not too long ago, so it's really cool to see a collaboration like this. They're really beautiful instruments, and they have a wonderful personality.
What great playing! I think the 8.5" Gold Brass bell has the "sweetest" sound with good projection. The 8" nickle bell has a intense projecting sound. Those were my two favorite set up's. The other two had very wide sounds but still sounded great.
Wow. Are these generally heavier than other horns of the same size? All three of them (edit: apparently I can't count) seem to have this fat solid tone quality and I was wondering if that comes down to weight.
Hey +Tsmowl. Thanks for your observations, they are slightly heavier, we have recently lightened them up significantly. The big projection of core sound is due to thickness of metal in certain key areas, the concept is to magnify the vibration you create without letting it bleed out of the horn before reaching the bell.

Wonderful developments at BAC Custom Trombones! Congrats to Michael and Elliot on their fruitful collaborations.

Beautiful horns and sound!
What sort of mouthpiece is he playing on?
Wow great tone
You're amazing
Did I spot your good old Silversonic bell on the floor there behind you?! Fascinating clip by the way!
+Rob Egerton Yes you did, it's collecting dust!
What mouthpiece is that?
can you give me a price on all 4 of these wonderful instruments? especially the 1st one with the dark tone. what beautiful and clever engineering
I know this is kind of late, but what kind of mouthpiece is that? Is that made by B.A.C.?
What kind of mouthpiece are you using? I noticed the body of it is the same width as the rim? It reminds me of a megatone, but bigger.
Why these design ornaments? Do they add anything to the sound, or is it just for visual pleasure? Insane playing technique, by the way! ;-)
what kind of mouthpiece is that
Which one of the configurations are you playing at the end of the video in the quartet?
+Zaven Silah I end playing the same configuration that I started with. Bronze bell flare, slide = gold brass outer stockings and crook.
Sounds awesome!
are maked trumpets?
