It's the speed and leverage combined with strength that makes her punch have more force the other guy seemed to not have good leverage to land the punch as direct as the girl did
Karl Waldron Yes, she did. She does hit hard, and I am sure if she connected with that punch then she would knock anyone out, including a man. But in reality, this is like comparing apples and oranges. This is about as useless as comparing a spinning wheel kick to a jab. Only a few people would be impressed with the difference ;)
Exactly What i was thinking....A Hook is basically a knockout punch with all the force from the body swing. You sacrifice speed for Power...i would like to see this test again with both fighters using the same punch and both without taking any steps.
I've seen 140 lb guys hit the 1,000 mark by using her cheating technique of taking 2 steps before punching. The test controller should've ensured that the same variables were applied to both fighters. Either have both of them stand in front and not take steps or have both take steps towards the dummy prior to punching
Even i can do a 600 lb punch if i use my entire body to do it, and i have no training at all. And i know because i have tried it. It's amaing how biased shows like this are. Do they think we're all stupid, and unable to see the difference in technique? jeez!
Of course Lucia doesn't hit as hard as the guy, but she does have a powerful punch that no one would be happy to take. The punches were much different. The guy took a neutral stance and delivered a traditional straight left while Lucia shifted her momentum and torque to generate a much more powerful punch. 922lbs is a lot, not degrading her at all because she packs a hell of a punch but I guarantee if the guy used the same movement as Lucia, he would beat the 1000lb mark.
FUN FACT: Lucia Rijker was an undefeated female boxing and kickboxing world champion back in the day. She eventually ran out of worthy female opponents to fight, so she decided to fight a (mediocre) male kickboxer. Guess what happened? She got knocked the fuck out. She since then decided that fighting men was stupid since the power difference between men and women are too big and has never done it again. Funny how they didn't mention it in this video.
Yeah lol. It's quite ironic how they use her in this video considering her history. They didn't think this one through. She is a prime example of why men > women.
Alex Smith She never beat any male boxer or kickboxer, you oompaloop. The one time she tried to fight a man, she got KO'd. Or are you referring to this video? Because you gotta know that it is bullshit right? You can't possible be that naive. They compare different punches ( i.e. she throws a leaping hook, he throws a jab, A hook by itself is already more powerful than a jab but she even jumped into it for more power. It's like comparing the speed of a running female to the speed of a walking man and then saying "See women are faster!!!")
Two different punches, two different stances and also the guy has a bigger ounce glove than the girl so if he were to wear a smaller ounce glove like the girl, it would feel harder
bestkatalyn You are absolutely right, but read the title. They act like she could take him down, in the ring the guy would eat her, and also if they punched exactly the same I highly doubt that the girl would hit harder. This show is inaccurate
Also if they want to compare men and woman, compare the hardest hitting male boxer vs the hardest hitting female. This video is like saying woman can run faster than men when they compare javlin thrower and Florence Griffith. Bloody stupid.
Stricken4Pot If you look at the technique, you can tell why. The womans arm is fully extended, meaning the way of acceleration is longer. Even though the transmitted energy is higher, the technique is not correct and easy to counter.
Mike Panocatapolis I agree. Horribly done. If she punched the exact same way, her numbers would have been much lower. They stood in front and essentially jabbed. She side stepped and used her torso and added additional kinetic energy.
Reginald Finley Of course the fighter male is stronger. But why didn't he use all the punch technique for maximum power output? Are they stupid or what?
as someone on reddit commented: "This isn't a legitimate comparison. 1) They use different techniques 2) Male boxer uses his left, weaker hand and doesn't step in (this decreases power SIGNIFICANTLY) 3) Female boxer uses a very big step in and hooks the target with her dominant hand 4) They used a guy with relatively weak punching power compared to a number of guys out there who can easily break 1000+ and some who can push 1700 or even 1800+ 5) This was all set up for spectacle and has nothing to do with reality because 6) Women have much less muscle density than men generally speaking. So even if a women had muscles the same size as a man (and her's are much smaller than his) she is usually going to be weaker even if she isn't facing that disadvantage If any of this stuff were even remotely accurate men and women could have been boxing each other in same size weight classes a LOOOOOONG time ago."
This is total bullshit. She has on smaller gloves. On the first set of punches, they used entirely different techniques. On the second, she stepped to the side and rotated into the punch. If he had done the same thing, he would have exceeded her "amazing punch." They let her do things in such a way to give her the win. This is like any "fight science" reality show. Look at Deadliest Warrior. They would have one person launch a single attack, but the next person would launch multiple attacks. Everyone would then be "shocked" that the second person did so much more damage when multiple attacks would obviously do more damage. If this had been scientific, they would have accounted for those variables by making their punches and gloves the same. Not letting her go second both times so she could use more powerful techniques than him while wearing smaller gloves.
She is a pro I give her that, and plus guys build muscle easy we have Testosterone girls don't, so there for you can't be all butt hurt over her being able to use her Smarts technique to Win.
This is bullshit, she side steped into a full body swing, both of the other 2 did a straight punch if they dide the same as her it woulda been no contest.
***** think you 're right sweetey, besides that, women will naturally go for it harder, because they used to have to fight hard against force majeure ..also a matter of willpower I guess
smiley00341 Lucia Rijker is a scary woman. She actually fought a male muay thai champ once. She lost, but she fought him. She curbstomped all the women she fought, and her training was absolutely brutal.
1.Lucia fought a no-name mid tier male kickboxer once, she was at her prime and supposedly the greatest female fighter on earth, she got her ass handed to her, landed a few clean shots on the man and he wasnt even phased, 2.Everything was skewed in lucia's favour, she took an extra step and twist on the dummy (btw the back part was barely screwed on at all) which is hard to pull in a fight people will read it and you have less time, she used a straight punch on the guy while the boxer used a hook (probably set up). I dont hate women in general or lucia but this video was shit and taught me nothing, i do however hate how she threw her hands up like she won when the guy couldnt tell the difference (lol fake af, when he hits the boxing bag its way louder than her) while the boxer really didnt care...
Exactly that, and terrible title, hits harder than Male MMA fighter, yet the male fighter in the video is a boxer, where’s the comparison to an MMA fighter? Having said that, she probably could punch harder than a male MMA fighter specifically, punching is not every MMA fighter’s speciality, which has kicks and grappling as well. Compared to Lucia who’s entire time is dedicated to punching technique as a boxer
True. They should've tested her against a man whose technique is as good as hers. But you have to give her credit, though. She's fucking lethal and I never want to get hit by her lol
Katherine Smith what are you talking about... He has over 100 fights under his belt...plus she hit with a hook which is a ko punch he hit with a cross ...
MY goodness, More proof that MMA fighters/fans don't know jack about throwing punches. The punch thrown by the MMA fighter was a cross NOT a jab. Trust me, a cross from a pro male Boxer >> a hook from any female Boxer. Boxers are Koed from crosses all the time. The cross was the favorite knock out punch of Lennox Lewis, Tommy Hearns, Joe Louis and countless others.
imblessedso You are right, actually, my bad. But considering his cross form really sucks (he starts from his chest, not from his stance), makes me question how good this "MMA fighter" is
MrBeefcake290 I suppose you missed the part where the "MMA Fighter" was actually an Olympic boxer? I think it's probably safe to assume he knows how to throw a punch better than you do.
Question: If everyone is constantly arguing that women can do everything that men can do and more, and are making episodes like this to prove it, why not just get all the best female fighters and the best male fighters and pit them against each other? Seems like that would be the best way to go about it.......
GX2re Oh my god, that is so true. And anyone who said "It was a legal match; they both agreed to do it" would just be called misogynist or whatever, regardless of how true it would be. They'd probably even try to spin it in such a way that it looked like the woman didn't REALLY know what she was doing, or that someone coerced her in some way, so clearly the big bad man (what a meanie!) is at fault.
@@bosmans1978 yes......she shifted and threw a different punch then he did. Anyone who knows how to punch knows how to generate more power.......hence the reason she threw that punch and not the same punch by the male boxer!
Well they did prove the hypothesis that a women can punch harder than a man. But it is a stupid hypothesis because it accepts every possible variables and thus it becomes a no brainer waist of time and resources to put this shit display to test.
MrShelterman I know ... it's like saying "Can a man cut down a tree with his hands ?". sure ... let's just put a chainsaw in his hands and you'll see the amazing results !
She was using a better punching technique than the guy which allowed her to hit harder. It's especially when she hit the dummy. The way she spun to build up momentum then the small twist gave her a huge amount of torque. No wonder she's undefeated with skills like that.
Jet Li Just because you made your RUclips name Jet LI doesn't mean you know what your talking about when it comes to fighting you "fucking idiot". She uses a better technique. P.S. Do you also wear tapout shirts and give people mma advice you watched on UFC fight night.
They're using different technics to punch that's why there is a huge difference.Look their positions and movements while punching, this girl really knows how to punch.
thank you.. pisses me off when watching stuff like this and seeing so clearly that they are throwing completely different punches.. conclusion: the girl still hit like a girl, they just didnt show the male power punches.
She's throwing different punches than the dude though. Put these 2 in the ring and I guarantee he knocks her ass out. I'd be scared as hell to fight her though
she used a different punch with moving to the side the give her arm and fist more momentum to do the damage to the dummy while the guy just stood and basically used a different fighting technique.
#1 - They compared her to a light hitting male amateur, not a pro. If you want a more accurate comparison get someone like Manny Pacqaio in here. #2 - She threw a full body punch and he threw a weak straight punch. #3 - Cain Velasquez registered a punch of 2000+, so imagine the technique of a pro boxing HW like Lennox Lewis. Ridiculousness.
This video was so badly done its scary Dx. I train in Mixed Martial Arts, and the biggest problem I see with these two punches is that they're completely different (I'm talking about the punches at 5:41 of course) The male boxer is using whats known as a "Shovel hook". This type of punch is MUCH weaker compared to whats known as a "cross" Which is what the female boxer was using. So for me these results are fixed. I mean throughout the whole video They are using different punches, and techniques for that matter. At 8:00 The female boxer takes a run up before she punches, obviously that's going to create a bigger and harder punch... Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying the phrase "You hit like a girl" is true. All I'm saying is that these results were fixed.
However. They ended the video well by saying " And the fact is, it doesn't matter whether you're male or female. It's Lucia perfect technique that brings the hurt >:D "
It's a crap test she is stepping forward and putting all her upper body weight into the hit. The guy is just standing there and using a quick snap punch. It's all bullshit
I love how they put the back of the dummy's head on to emphasize her hit while for the guys they didn't put anything on. I'd like to see them both fight each other.
Aside from the fact that she threw a leaping left hook while he threw a straight lead left, pretty sure she's wearing 10oz gloves while he's wearing 18 oz gloves.
1.) This guy is an Olympic boxer! 2.) Punching machines don't measure shit, you can get a running start and do a baseball punch and generate more force than a correct punch without doing any more (real life) damage due to the retention of the force in a correct punch which a baseball punch doesn't have, therefore these machines are often off, look up Anderson Silva punch machine video on youtube for example! 3.) The lady used a hook with a few steps of forward motion, which in these machines, generate more force than a straight punch, therefore she was able to follow through with more force because her position was much closer than the male, thereby the measurement was not equal, and this was a failed scientific experiment. Both participants need to use the same type of punch from the same position to get a better idea. This isn't science, it's bullshit.
The man had the opportunity to use the same punch. While that step could really improve the force, he could have done the same thing, but went for what he thought would be his hardest hit.
she hit harder because the male gave punch because the male gave jab from standing still , she gave side punch after jumping to the sides and generate momentum , if they really wanted to check this out they wouldve told them to give the same punch
So left cross vs left hook? Yep. This is clearly a totally unbiased, scientific study. Well done chaps. Next they'll be telling us a woman with a sledgehammer can deal more damage than a guy with a mallet.
Well I was going to comment about the weight of the gloves, the punch styles and stances, and the amount of drawback before each punch used by both fighters. But it seems like everyone else has already pretty well taken care of that shit. lol
ruclips.net/video/X2QgDWSfQik/видео.html just watch this video this is her vs some journeyman she was 52-0 with 51 kos he was like 13-3 lol.... yea plz don't fight men ever again
Yea, she punched straight he went for a hooked shot on the human dummy. If it was the same punch it would be a fair test. Also they should have got the average weight for men vs the average weight for women, that would make it an even fairer test, and I would take a guess that on those stats a guy could hit harder. Also they said she was a world champion, it would be even fairer if they put her up against the world champion for men. Essentially this is just a poorly conducted scientific experiment that was most likely conducted to advance the feminist view that we are equal in all aspects. So yea, this is basically just propaganda.
Luke dubarry Also the MMA fighter she was compared to was using his left hand for the punch they showed in this video, which is his weaker hand (if he is right handed, which i'll wager he is)
Yep, thank god people don't believe this pseudo-science bullshit that they put up here. I'm quite disappointed that they didn't even regulate techniques or even use average people with average height and weight.
yeah theres nothing scientific about this. also when people say "you hit like a girl" the aren't talking about "the undefeated world female boxing champion"...
anyone else notice that the dummy doesnt have the panel on the back of the head when the man hits it, the same one that they were amazed came off when she hit it
Houston Alexander's punch barely reached the dummy. It didn't make contact at peak force. If it did, it would blow Lucia's Punch out of the water. And if he used the same side stepping technique as she did, he would probably reach well over 1100 lbs of force. Also, comparing people of the same height and weight doesn't take into account the limit to which each gender can go. In which case, males obviously punch harder.
lamenamethefirst Well obviously...she is a trained professional. The question was can woman punch harder than men...and no they can't. Men are more genetically built for strength, it's a proven fact.
Nah, I agree that generally Men hits harder... But I've seen girls beat the s#¡+ out of guys a few times... And no, the guys aren't drunk or cripples... just jerks that got the asses handed to them by a girl... also, no... the girls aren't giant bodybuilder looking nor trained fighters... so maybe "you hit like a wuss" is more fitting...
It's funny how they already had the back piece of the dummies head off for the guys punch but then tried to make the girl feel special by letting her knock it off. lol 8:45
in the super fast unreadable credits at the end you read..."some outcomes have been choreographed by the producers for entertainment purposes" . Now will u all shut up ?
The male boxer scored 710 lbs. of force. The female boxer scored 922 lbs. of force.... Though did science discover why she had 200 more lbs. of force than the male? Hypothetically speaking, they were both the same height and weight. And since they are, how did one have 200 more pounds of force than the other? Sounds illogical. The only reason she had way more, was because she did a hook punch. While the male boxer only performed a straight punch. The hook punch makes your punches MORE powerful. Mainly because you're using your entire body to blow the punch. But with a standard punch, it only requires your arm to do so. They need to re-run the test again and both need perform the same punch. --->
Her technique is better than the male boxer's technique. She took two steps and threw a hook punch. This generates more force from her toe to the fist. Power behind a punch lies in how the punch is thrown forget that theory crap. To throw a punch an athlete needs to be well coordinated. Their nervous system is trained to produce a certain reaction to stimuli. This causes the well coordinated fighter to remain not tensed and have good technique. Thus power is generated from the tow traveling up to the hips. The hips acts as a means to transition this great force. Thus use the hips to spring the force to any where the force wants to be applied fist, elbow, knee, side kick. In this case the force was applied to the fist so that it can be transfered to the face of the punch dummy.
men have better muscles women have better agility, thats not up for debate. Its effing nature get over it. why do you think women and men are separated in the olympic games cause the best women results are usually around the 10th place male results in most sports.
Blazekingz Women have better agility? Please explain. Aren't some of the greatest athletes in the world male? Aren't the fastest runners, furthest jumpers, highest jumpers, most powerful hitters, and fastest swimmers male? The reason why most sports are separate is because of facts like these. We can all tell on here that the only reason the woman "won" in this punching power match is because she had added momentum and put her full body into the punch, while the man simply threw a punch. If she simply had to throw a punch, it would have been much, much weaker.
Blazekingz Our muscles can be stretched too. There are alot of men that do gymnastics also. Besides, gymnasts (both men and women) train hard, stretch, and other things like that to be so agile and flexible.
BleedingDaywalker Wouldn't it be a better question for you to prove you have knowledge in this area. I don't believe anyone is denying her skills. The idea is the credibility for these people to call this science. I can first of all see a flaw. Go watch the parts on the dummies closely for what I'm about to say and compare. First, notice the stand the dummy is strapped to. It is rocky, and therefore has a spill out of energy when hit with a certain amount of force. Now possibly depending on ones technique and point of contact on the dummy, there will possibly be less spill out of energy on the contact to the dummy. Now you can see that the mans punch throws the stand off kilter more than the womens. She experiences very little kilter, while his visually tips more. It is unacceptable to call it science and fail to recognize these problems when releasing it. Now it is a hypothesis that we already know the answer to with simple logic. They did not ask, women are, but can they. Well yes of coarse. We can take any man and any women and pin them up against each other. A better question would be more general to the sexes. But that would be stupid to because we already knew the answer. They revealed no truths. They took a redundant hypothesis and even failed to control all the variables. The equipment is even observably not capable to give 100% accuracy upon certain conditions. I have your documented proof of your knowledge in your youtube comment. You failed to fully express what you observed in the video and how you interpret it, meaning it is reasonable to say you may not know what you are talking about. And your original comment did not express much insight on what happened in the video. In fact, it made me wonder who is saying that the women had no skill. You were telling people to shut up. Who is talking? Who are you referring to?
They were actually very different punches. Anyone can step into a hook and generate more power than a cross! Also, did they both use their dominant arm (or both use their non dominant arm)?
LOL you would come on here as Jet li. i understand the reasoning behind it so that you sound more credible however, it doesn't matter. This is life like it or not she showed out on tv so that's what the truth is.
Think about this from a perspective as which one was BETTER, not harder. The male boxer hit with 700+ pounds of force without a run up AT ALL. She hit harder with a run up that took longer and anyone would have seen coming. To be honest, I would take on the girl. If she only threw punches like that I could see them coming in a second and block most if not all her shots. If I fought the man however. . . I would be down in seconds. You must take in account all of the little things to make conclusions, always.
I would DEFINITELY want see you fight Lucia... that's gonna be some ass kicking for you my friend. Or you better take a weapon with you... she is/was probably one of the most dangerous women on the planet when she was competing. And btw... a run up? She did a sideways step in... 2 steps; one to the right and one forward... what a run up?!
micglou I box as a hobby, give me a professional trainer and a couple of days and I may last a couple rounds against her. Put me up against the man and I may last to the end of round one. Would I win against either? Hell no. And compared to the male then yes, what she did is a run up.
Silent.Thinker Some people... :) A professional trainer and 'a couple of days' and the KO will still come as fast. Ahh well, RUclips is full of 'experts'... including me and you ;) And ehhh Absolutediscord, you do not box as a hobby... maybe if it's on console... stop bluffin.
I personally am a woman who has fought men not professionally but in self defense situations and I will say that science backs up that men are physically stronger based on genetics. If the situation calls for it though a female can obliterate an opponent if given the right circumstances, a woman ( or a man)can lift a car to get to their child if it is in danger. I will go as far as to say biological factors come into place and the love of a mother for her child can overcome what would have once been physically impossible . I agree men are in regular circumstances physically stronger but you need to factor in circumstances that could disprove this. Once it was scientifically proven humans couldn’t run a mile under four minutes On 6 May 1954 Sir Roger managed to break a record that doctors and scientists thought was impossible, to run a mile in 3 minutes. You may take from this what you will. If we don’t challenge what we think is possible or impossible and just take it for granted hat we are and are not capable of then true progress is not made. Men and women are both capable of kicking some serious ass. Pinned against each other we have different strengths and weaknesses it depends on the circumstances but preconceived notions of what either sex I capable of doesn’t help us break the status quo.
no doing completely different punches made me thumbs down this, she used her whole body, practically jumping into it, while he stood in place with a jab.
SHe WOULD KILL RONDA ...ronda cant even tie lucia,s shoe laces she,s a living legend and a UNBEATEN IBF champ ... GTFO ronda was still playing with barbie dolls when lucia was knocking out woman and MAN
Boxers can not fight in the octagon, didnt you see what happend the last time a boxer stepped foot in the octagon? YOU GTFO with youre coolbreezebutthole
Jarrett Dreaver Of course the more all round you are the better it is for you !! But my point is A good right hand is a good right hand you can be KING KONG if a good punch hits you you will fall thats just normal ..if a mma fighter hits you with a good right hand on the spot you will go down if a good boxer hits you with a right hand you will go down thats my whole point it does not matter what style system discipline you do if lucia hits ronda with a godo right hand on the back of the head or on the temple she wil go down and if ronda gets lucia on the ground she will end the fight
"We're gonna pit you against a male fighter, same height, same weight...." Aaaaaaand there's your problem. Men are on average taller, heavier, and more muscular. Oops. #Science.
Funny how they put the cap on the back of the dummy only when she punched it (and it was on loosely). Also you can easily tell the dummy's head moves half the distance when she punched, if they had the cap thing on when the guy punched it would have hit the back wall
Ok I'm going to clear this up, the girl is the same mass as the guy that's been said, they also explain that a males body is mostly upper and back, as most females have a larger lower than upper body, so they weigh the same but their muscles and mass are spread differently throughout their body. And yes she uses a different punch to him she uses a full body left hook and he uses a stationary left jab, but this is for entertainment that's why they put something at the back of the dummy for when she punched to enforce their theory, it doesn't take away from the fact she could be a brilliant fighter but this was aired on T.V. to create controversy to make people watch to see if its true
She has knocked out some of her heavier male sparring partners. She hated it, but had to because they wouldnt let her train otherwise (this was after she had just moved to the US to make the switch to boxing (she was already 4 time K1 world champion)). In an interview she said that she felt very bad after 1 particular sparring fight with a guy. She broke his nose and blood splattered all over her shirt. The other guys were hurling abuse at him "you got hit by a girl you faggot", and did not allow the 2 to step out of the ring She lost her 1 and only (exhibition) fight against a powerful and skilled Korean guy though
Type in on RUclips: Lucia rijker vs man. She gets her ass handed to her by a new zeland guy with a record of 13-3 which no one has ever heard of before.
I think that test is wirred because... She is a female puncher He is a overall boxer not specialized to be a puncher or to be a boxer based on speed. What will happens if u take a male puncher? Same weight same height? There will be a difference 100% sure. Even the punch itself was a different one. She hits straight to the body he hits hook to the body. Even the gloves look different in their size. The size doesnt really matter his arms where longer then hers. Also the size of the fist is a different. Smaler Spot more momentum on 1 inch² And also the sentence "u broke the dummy" is not true because the plate wasnt at the dummy when mo hits it. Also here different punches of both boxers.
Can men hit harder than women? To test this theory we got the absolute hardest hitting female boxer we could possibly find to test against an average male boxer. That's definitely how this test should be performed right? You shouldn't just pull 10 random males and 10 random females and have them punch a dummy? That would be just silly.
Well, the thing is their weight and height are the same, that's why this guy was chosen for the experiment, lets remember that in most fighting sports/disciplines, fighters are divided by weight, wich is a crucial factor to determine the strength of their punches, its obvious that a heavier guy would've delivered a stronger hit, they were trying to make a fair comparison, well... I guess, haha.
They still sought out the absolute best female they could find while finding the most average male boxer possible. Are there men her weight that could hit harder? For sure. Even men that weigh less that could hit harder. Have you ever heard of Fallon Fox? She used to be a man, became a woman and then started fighting MMA against other women. "she" has some of the most brutal knockouts i have seen and the UFC wont take her because she has the skeletal structure of a man and that gives her a huge advantage.
***** Well, after givin' it a thought, you're kinda' right, they found the hardest hitting girl to compare against the most averrage guy in the world... Oh, and that transgender dude story sounds nasty haha, I'm gonna look for it right away :P
You don't really know then do you... I'm not going to change my opinion unless you have some sort of proof that you were the cast or crew of that episode and you had seen the order in which they punched.
The back head plate came off because it was loose and the male punchers dummy's didn't even have that plate on. That was clearly added for the girl for dramatic effect.
"I don't want to say I punch like a man, I punch like a coördinated athlete." Respect for her saying something like this instead of being all over her head with it.
On average OF COURSE men hit way harder than women.. that's simple biology. Look at men's frames, muscle mass, bone density, testosterone levels. No need for anyone to take any offense. But Lucia Rijker is quite something else, as you may have already seen. Lucia Rijker is the best female boxer ever, without any doubt. She doesn't punch hard for a woman, but for anyone. Rijker had gotten to some point in her career where no woman would fight her anymore, because she was that good. Layla Ali wouldnt fight her, and Martin would only fight her after they set the prize money really high. But then Rijker tore her muscle and the sponsors backed out. Kickboxing and boxing pro fights put together Rijkers' stats are 54-0-0, roughly 85% won by K.O. In her career she has lost only 1 fight, which was unofficial, against a male pro (kickboxing), and she was still a fetus. Some years later, a more mature Rijker had to actually knock out men and she did. At the beginning of her boxing career, Rijker had just moved to the States to train there. The gym where she wanted to train refused to train women though. They told her that if she wanted to train there she had to knock out some guys.(she didnt specify the number in the interview) Which she then did. Knocked them out cold, and she was accepted into the gym. Lucia Rijker is the best female fighter EVER. She is the female Ali. Pound for pound she belongs with the greatest of the greatest of a very select group of top elite fighters this planet has seen. (PS: as a kid she was also judo champion of the Netherlands, and she has a fencing title as well. She is a born amazon and probably could have picked any sport.)
She has way better technique in both cases. Let her train him her style and then make test again. This is not objective test, it just proves that she has better technique, but it did not prove she is has stronger punch.
This proves, that good technique has meaning. It is funny, because it means, that girls boxers have harder fights that guys, when they are competing with her.
Akemi Nina No it doesn't. Most guys irregardless of size hit harder than most girls. That's just reality. Lucia had much better technique being a world champion. The guy was just an amateur. Also the guy really didn't throw a power punch. He didn't have full rotation.
My goodness her technique works because of her skill which include strength. if the other guy learns her technique I doubt there'll be any difference, after all the gap was about 200pounds of force, meaning for the guy to be stronger he'd had to produces more than 200pounds of force with his technique alone. I seriously doubt he's produce more force. I'd say they'd be pretty even. However as it stands a girl can produce even greater force than a guy. Just means there is no natural bias to either gender. It all come down to training
Totally inaccurate. Before I start, let me tell you, she is good, really good, probably better than the dude(that had a shitty form, don't know if they told him to pretend tho or to punch with less force, because he seems to be bored/forced) 1. Different punches/techniques = different amounts of power. 2. She uses all of her body, he only moves his torso and arms. 3. Exactly the same size and weight, the overage woman is smaller and thinner than the overage male, but they didn't include that in their "statistics"... it didn't suit them. 08:48 - 08:54 "Lucia hit just as hard as the professional MMA fighter Huston the assasin(...)" 08:59 "so how can this woman punch *harder* than a professional MMA fighter" LMAO? WAIT, we go from "just as hard" to "harder than" ?! This is totally bogus + the dummy part when the part of his head gets "broken" was totally bullshit, these dummy's are hard as hell, they would NEVER break with a punch, no matter who punched it. PS: I'm in no way saying that a woman can't punch as hard as a man, but this video was shit and biased.
This video makes me sick. It's so obviously pandering and backhandedly condescending that it just pisses me off. The answer to the question "can a girl hit harder than a guy" is unequivocally yes. I'm a man, and I'm pretty certain there are millions of girls out there who hit harder than I do. For obvious starters, most if not all ranked female boxers almost certainly hit harder than me. So, question answered. The answer to the implied question "can the strongest girl hit as hard or harder than the strongest guy" is unequivocally no. Men and women have different physiologies, and men's physiology is geared toward producing more muscle than women's. Men also have a larger maximum frame for carrying that muscle. This means longer arms and legs which means more time to apply force to a punch. Since both men and women can achieve perfect technique, the only meaningful differences are muscle and frame size, and the maximum amount of each on the largest possible man is significantly higher than the maximums on the largest possible woman. Thus, the maximum possible punch for men is going to be much harder than the maximum possible for women. It's just reality. Deal with it. Furthermore, the tests they ran in this show were insulting. The very first punch, the man was made to punch with his foot on his punching arm side forward, a stance that cut his power at least by half, while the woman was allowed to use an open stance which allows the use of the hips, which adds a ton of power to the punch. So regardless of how stupid it is to have a suggestive measuring method (aka. the dude judging how hard each hit felt), the test was completely invalid. It was all down hill from there.
Neither punch was strong enough to knock out a 100% healthy trained male boxer/MMA fighter which requires over a 1,000 pounds of force. Women have different shaped heads than males so it is easier to knockout a female.
Why didn't they have them fight each other, then we would know
afrochickenboy We would know what ?
Jussi Aalto if they are equal, or as the video said, if she is stronger then him
arturo92376 do you. not get that I know the video was not correct in its tastings.
It's the speed and leverage combined with strength that makes her punch have more force the other guy seemed to not have good leverage to land the punch as direct as the girl did
AlbinoblacksnakeOG I mean.. the guy threw a straight and the girl threw a haymaker. -_-
The dudes are throwing straight right hands, she stepped into it and threw a hook punch. A straight hand and a hook punch are night and day.
Exactly
I agree, this "test" is bullshit. But, sure she hits hard.
100% right!
Either have both of them stand in front and not take steps or have both take steps towards the dummy prior to punching
she hit 922.... not a whole hell of a lot of difference
that is very true i am using that technique and it gives even more acceleration
Even i can do a 600 lb punch if i use my entire body to do it, and i have no training at all. And i know because i have tried it. It's amaing how biased shows like this are. Do they think we're all stupid, and unable to see the difference in technique? jeez!
GOD JOEY arcade, thought of that?
GOD JOEY
How? Like an uppercut, or like a hook angling upward? Share bro.
She beat a different guy
Alex Smith
She never beat any male boxer or kickboxer, you oompaloop.
It's like comparing the speed of a running female to the speed of a walking man and then saying "See women are faster!!!")
amarj I wasnt talking about this video if you look up chevelle hallback this girl resembles a man and got me really confused lol
Give me a link
Female: Moving hook, whole body strengh
Male: Standing straight punch
I don't understand this. If you want to prove something as an unbiased experiment then allow them to use the same technique.
My thoughts exactly. It's not like we can't see the difference in how they threw the punches.
I think each chose their own technique, but the difference is very clear. Lucia fought man in muay thai and lost.
@@piouspredecessor6171 She fought men in boxing and won too. She was a beast man.
@@dichi3163 I know a lot of men that she can beat the shit out of.
Di Chi no, she didn’t.
Two different punches, two different stances and also the guy has a bigger ounce glove than the girl so if he were to wear a smaller ounce glove like the girl, it would feel harder
Exactly
Bruh Bruh amen
Not true.
Bruh Bruh True, but the fact is that she punched hard. How she did it matters not that much.
bestkatalyn You are absolutely right, but read the title. They act like she could take him down, in the ring the guy would eat her, and also if they punched exactly the same I highly doubt that the girl would hit harder. This show is inaccurate
FAIL:
1. about 20 oz gloves vs 8 oz?? really??
2. Man swings clean from his stands, and girl jumbs for a full body swing.
Yeah I saw those gloves to dude Hahaha!
Dude got 6 pillows on he's hands.
And they hit in different areas which is retarded
also did you notice they added a loose back plate to the dummys head to give the impression of force, it wasn't there when the guy punched
Also if they want to compare men and woman, compare the hardest hitting male boxer vs the hardest hitting female.
This video is like saying woman can run faster than men when they compare javlin thrower and Florence Griffith. Bloody stupid.
a GamePlaya both of them are same height and weight so that it would be even
Whatever makes women feel better about themselves.
Anthony Smith i dont think its a joke m8
***** are you anti-semetic?
Stricken4Pot If you look at the technique, you can tell why. The womans arm is fully extended, meaning the way of acceleration is longer. Even though the transmitted energy is higher, the technique is not correct and easy to counter.
Matthis Lührmann Yes, but women have to twist things their way so they feel superior. Such is the way of the vagina.
Stricken4Pot LMAO
This show is insulting to science.
Reginald Finley although the forward punch would probably be better in an MMA fight for a jaw knockout, But its no good in a punch power test. = lol
They both had diffrent size weight gloves.. DUH that is going to make a huge diffrence.. way to be non scentific
+Mike Panocatapolis (Not boba fett) and they used two different punches
as someone on reddit commented:
"This isn't a legitimate comparison.
1) They use different techniques
2) Male boxer uses his left, weaker hand and doesn't step in (this decreases power SIGNIFICANTLY)
3) Female boxer uses a very big step in and hooks the target with her dominant hand
4) They used a guy with relatively weak punching power compared to a number of guys out there who can easily break 1000+ and some who can push 1700 or even 1800+
5) This was all set up for spectacle and has nothing to do with reality
because
6) Women have much less muscle density than men generally speaking. So even if a women had muscles the same size as a man (and her's are much smaller than his) she is usually going to be weaker even if she isn't facing that disadvantage
If any of this stuff were even remotely accurate men and women could have been boxing each other in same size weight classes a LOOOOOONG time ago."
TV = entertainment all hese shows are fake but Lucia can definitely punch someones brains out!
I mean sure, both fighters are pretty cool, but that dude taking the punches is a fucking badass.
Ikr that crash dummy was sick
Nah, just a common brawler.
I agree totally on this
I agree with you 100%. If he had the same gloves and stepped into it like her, numbers would have been different.
i was thinking exactly the same, but beside that i think she has really good technic
gatts300 Yeah she's awsome I wouldn't want to get hit by her. It just should have been a little less obvious that there techniques where different.
She is a pro I give her that, and plus guys build muscle easy we have Testosterone girls don't, so there for you can't be all butt hurt over her being able to use her Smarts technique to Win.
This is bullshit, she side steped into a full body swing, both of the other 2 did a straight punch if they dide the same as her it woulda been no contest.
ure right
Yes that's the point her technique is better they even explained it thoroughly at the end...
***** think you 're right sweetey, besides that, women will naturally go for it harder, because they used to have to fight hard against force majeure
..also a matter of willpower I guess
She knows how to punch nobody said what kind of punch it had to be I am sure she can kick half of guys asses anyways lol.
smiley00341
Lucia Rijker is a scary woman. She actually fought a male muay thai champ once. She lost, but she fought him.
She curbstomped all the women she fought, and her training was absolutely brutal.
1.Lucia fought a no-name mid tier male kickboxer once, she was at her prime and supposedly the greatest female fighter on earth, she got her ass handed to her, landed a few clean shots on the man and he wasnt even phased,
2.Everything was skewed in lucia's favour, she took an extra step and twist on the dummy (btw the back part was barely screwed on at all) which is hard to pull in a fight people will read it and you have less time, she used a straight punch on the guy while the boxer used a hook (probably set up).
She threw her hands up cuz shes happy enough to know that shes at least not weaker than the guy
The guy she fought wasnt mid tier he was a muy thai champion in thailand and was 13-1. Mid tier would have been a 20th ranked contender maybe 5-5
But I agree the test was abunch of girl power bs
He wasn't even mid tier. He was an amateur lol
Obviously they can't let the woman lose. They'd get so much criticism and people would call it "sexist"
True. They should've tested her against a man whose technique is as good as hers. But you have to give her credit, though. She's fucking lethal and I never want to get hit by her lol
Katherine Smith She is world champion after all.
***** Sadly, yes they do.
True, she does.
Katherine Smith what are you talking about... He has over 100 fights under his belt...plus she hit with a hook which is a ko punch he hit with a cross ...
Katherine Smith the average boxer has a striking force of 880lbs of force so no matter what she has more than the average pro boxers striking force
A woman's left hook, with a running start and using the full body, is stronger than a man's jab with all arm? WELL NO SHIT.
But considering his cross form really sucks (he starts from his chest, not from his stance), makes me question how good this "MMA fighter" is
MrBeefcake290 it seems to be that most MMA fighters are jokes, i honestly have no respect for the "craft." such as it were.
MrBeefcake290 I suppose you missed the part where the "MMA Fighter" was actually an Olympic boxer? I think it's probably safe to assume he knows how to throw a punch better than you do.
boxers hit way harder than mma fighters
Question: If everyone is constantly arguing that women can do everything that men can do and more, and are making episodes like this to prove it, why not just get all the best female fighters and the best male fighters and pit them against each other?
Seems like that would be the best way to go about it.......
Nah don't do that someone would either fall into a coma or die...And we both know who that person will be.
toasega Lucia already had a match with unknown mediocre boxer, and she got knocked the fucked out and need to be sent to the hospital asap.
Emil Goubasarian The male fighter would win and probably get arrested afterwards smh
GX2re
Oh my god, that is so true. And anyone who said "It was a legal match; they both agreed to do it" would just be called misogynist or whatever, regardless of how true it would be. They'd probably even try to spin it in such a way that it looked like the woman didn't REALLY know what she was doing, or that someone coerced her in some way, so clearly the big bad man (what a meanie!) is at fault.
toasega
Yeah that is the typical feminazi logic "I can hit you in the face but you can't because im a woman"
She took more of a run up and a larger hook but he stood still
PentagonThief1 A run up? Watch it again
@@bosmans1978 yes......she shifted and threw a different punch then he did. Anyone who knows how to punch knows how to generate more power.......hence the reason she threw that punch and not the same punch by the male boxer!
@@daddyfamlittle6262 Hahaha....sure, lets call it a run up🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
This is very inaccurate actually ... the male hit with a straight jab. The woman hit with a hook and charged the punch from like 3 feet away ...
Yep. I was JUST about to write the same thing. However, it still must be noted that some women can hit VERY hard. And it is still highly impressive.
Also she was wearing smaller gloves.
The punch thrown was actually a cross. The guy's a southpaw. So stronger than a lead jab, but definitely not quite a hook.
She was using a better punching technique than the guy which allowed her to hit harder. It's especially when she hit the dummy. The way she spun to build up momentum then the small twist gave her a huge amount of torque. No wonder she's undefeated with skills like that.
you are correct. Her balance/technique is ridiculous. Imagine the unpleasant surprise for guy with bad intentions that approaches her. ouch.
No you fucking idiot she was using smaller gloves allowing her to hit harder.
Jet Li Just because you made your RUclips name Jet LI doesn't mean you know what your talking about when it comes to fighting you "fucking idiot". She uses a better technique.
P.S. Do you also wear tapout shirts and give people mma advice you watched on UFC fight night.
Jet Li cmon man. all you have to do is give your opinion. I mean is this isn't a subject so deep/important to warrant insulting peeps..
@@aburd9 lol she fight average man in her prime and get knocked out
It's simple, she had better technique in terms of using her body to generate more power.
Allaluca was about to say the same thing
Allaluca Yup i was about to post the same thing, you can clearly see she twists her body making her punched harder.
Allaluca yea she jumped in to the punch and the other guys stood still
Allaluca Looks like she had better technique and a smaller ounce glove.
burn skii also the hip and shoulder rotation...key to generating power in so many sports (baseball, tennis, badmintion, table tennis, golf, etc...)
when he said 100 wins under his belt i was expecting to see charlie zeneloff lol
😂
Fake news: 6:40 "We rigged a pressure sensor..."
The internet: "You rigged the whole show!"
Ridiculousness.
englishsteel2347 you forget she hit as HARD as Houston Alexander who is pro and WAY bigger
You implying cain velasquez punches are somehow less then Lennox Lewis because he is MMA and not boxing?
Every boxer punch is stronger than mma fighters punch.
at end she wont go in the ring with guy thats it
I was thinking the same thing... the guy was doing a straight cross and girl was doing a hook.
It's a crap test she is stepping forward and putting all her upper body weight into the hit. The guy is just standing there and using a quick snap punch. It's all bullshit
"It's not about how hard you hit, its about how hard you can get hit and keep on moving forward " -Rocky Balboa
Absolutely. I completely agree glad to finally read a comment that actually was worth reading thanks man. long live eye of the freaking tiger
I love how they put the back of the dummy's head on to emphasize her hit while for the guys they didn't put anything on. I'd like to see them both fight each other.
she lost to a random guy its on ytube.
She lost to an average Thai lander
ok...
they did completely different types of punches, because fuck science.
Aside from the fact that she threw a leaping left hook while he threw a straight lead left, pretty sure she's wearing 10oz gloves while he's wearing 18 oz gloves.
I didn't notice that at first, now i wanna get my eyes checked lol
Yeah i have, and from what i saw, he should stick to punching and drink his milk.
Next they'll be telling us a woman with a sledgehammer can deal more damage than a guy with a mallet.
so her super charged shot with her whole body at high speed behind it had more force than his standing still jab? wow so impressive, mind=blown.
Hjalmar Nyman
He didn't throw a jab. It was a straight.
Bflo23 true, the first guy did however throw with his left hand so maybe that tricked me. he might be a lefty though.
Well I was going to comment about the weight of the gloves, the punch styles and stances, and the amount of drawback before each punch used by both fighters. But it seems like everyone else has already pretty well taken care of that shit. lol
i just wasted 11 minutes of my life ...
thonk zkiee #metoo
thonk zkiee thanks for the warning
I‘m out
ruclips.net/video/X2QgDWSfQik/видео.html just watch this video this is her vs some journeyman she was 52-0 with 51 kos he was like 13-3 lol.... yea plz don't fight men ever again
different punching techniques, you can't compare
Yea, she punched straight he went for a hooked shot on the human dummy.
If it was the same punch it would be a fair test.
Also they should have got the average weight for men vs the average weight for women, that would make it an even fairer test, and I would take a guess that on those stats a guy could hit harder. Also they said she was a world champion, it would be even fairer if they put her up against the world champion for men.
Essentially this is just a poorly conducted scientific experiment that was most likely conducted to advance the feminist view that we are equal in all aspects.
So yea, this is basically just propaganda.
Luke dubarry Also the MMA fighter she was compared to was using his left hand for the punch they showed in this video, which is his weaker hand (if he is right handed, which i'll wager he is)
I agree
Luke dubarry agreed
Yep, thank god people don't believe this pseudo-science bullshit that they put up here. I'm quite disappointed that they didn't even regulate techniques or even use average people with average height and weight.
yeah theres nothing scientific about this.
also when people say "you hit like a girl" the aren't talking about "the undefeated world female boxing champion"...
anyone else notice that the dummy doesnt have the panel on the back of the head when the man hits it, the same one that they were amazed came off when she hit it
It's because they problably put the girl first but showed it after the guy did it. That's what I think anyways
my theory is that they just loosely put it on for her to make it more dramatic when she hit the dummy
"Alright, Julian you want to earn those $200 then I suggest you read the lines we give you, understood?"
However she is very strong. The force of her punch was way more than the average Joe.
lamenamethefirst Well obviously...she is a trained professional. The question was can woman punch harder than men...and no they can't. Men are more genetically built for strength, it's a proven fact.
a women can hit harder than men not all but 37 percent of women can hit harder than a male.
She threw a hook, he don't, that's why she hitted harder.
loh he* threw a hook
Straights can be more powerful than hooks, it depends
Well maybe we are in a parallel dimension were the physics are fucked up and straights can be stronger than hooks, who knows.
Dreadstroke worst lie ever
She also moved into the punch a lot and he was more stationary
Not a fair test, they would have to punch using the same technique. Momentum had a massive part on the lady's power.
"You hit like a girl" always has been and always will be, an insult
Did anybody notice the back of the head was already gone when the male punched it?
I did. Also the back of the head looked detached when the female punched it.
They probably recorded the female first because the expectation was that the male would punch harder so he would go second.
If the guy exerted 710 lbs of force from just a jab just imagine how much he would have been able to exert through a haymaker like the girl did
The male boxer scored 710 lbs. --->
Let alone the same glove sizes.
Aaron Scott shes a southpaw too
Aaron Scott one had more fat weight and the other had more muscle weight
Aren't some of the greatest
athletes in the world male? Aren't the fastest runners, furthest jumpers, highest jumpers, most powerful hitters, and fastest swimmers
male? The reason why most sports are separate is because of facts like
these. We can all tell on here that the only reason the woman "won" in this punching power match is because she had added momentum and put her full body into the punch, while the man simply threw a punch. If she simply had to throw a punch, it would have been much, much weaker.

im pretty sure their muscles are easily stretched. Thats why there more flexible. Thus a lot do gymnastics etc.
Blazekingz
Our muscles can be stretched too. There are alot of men that do gymnastics also. Besides, gymnasts (both men and women) train hard, stretch, and other things like that to be so agile and flexible.
Kindly cease pretending you know anything.
I think you mean more flexible, not agile. One is correct the other is factually wrong...cuz its effin nature.
She lunged foward, adding more impact to her punch ...
That human punching bag is the real hero here.
She threw a hook punch and he just threw a regular straight punch...The difference is astronomical.
She had great technique he didn't. She did punch harder no excuses. Shut up guys she has skills.
Prove that I have 0 knowledge in this. I want documented proof.
Shogun Rua
Until then take your own advise. Thank you
BleedingDaywalker Wouldn't it be a better question for you to prove you have knowledge in this area.
AbsoluteDiscord Don't talk wet lol.... 54-0 record and you think you would last a few rounds! You sir are an idiot.
Silent.Thinker
Some people... :) A professional trainer and 'a couple of days' and the KO will still come as fast. Ahh well, RUclips is full of 'experts'... including me and you ;) And ehhh Absolutediscord, you do not box as a hobby... maybe if it's on console... stop bluffin.
micglou You don't know me, I actually do box in my free time. Stop acting like you have a conceivable idea of who I am jackass.
Smaller gloves hurt more... Trust me test it.
Yeah less surface area concentrates the force.
Exactly plus they are more dense. Way more dense. Id get hit with a 16 oz glove to the face over a 14 oz glove to the chest.
Anyday
or an MMA glove. ow. lol.
Katherine Smith indeed
The dude held back look!
Ol cmi6o
Adding the loose piece of plastic to the dummies head for dramatic effect when the women punched was where I clicked thumbs down.
Damn right.
no doing completely different punches made me thumbs down this, she used her whole body, practically jumping into it, while he stood in place with a jab.
So to get the feminists riled up. The whole point of this vid, just political science.
Looks like she punches harder she make him move back a little and the guy didn't make the other guy move at all....She's strong!
This is soo stupid. If you look pay attention they added that piece to the back of the dummies head. It wasn't even there when the guy did it
Guy said "we will put you up against a man that's the same size and height". I asked is that even a man?
Me and my brother are about 6 feet tall.
Said a chinaman ;)
Alex Ruan That little guy is an Olympic Champion that would send your teeth into the back of your skull. You pathetic keyboard warrior
Jared Rowney haha youre talking,
Kaneki The One Eyed Ghoul It's true though. He could beat the crap of out 99% of everyone who has watched this video if he wanted to.
Alex Ruan I hear they put her in the ring with a man, and she got knocked out cold and had to go to a hospital.
Just put her in the ring with Rhonda Rosie . punching dont mean shit!
plus when the guy hit the dummy he didnt have the back head cover on. When she hit it she had the cover on and it wasnt even on right.
SHe WOULD KILL RONDA ...ronda cant even tie lucia,s shoe laces
she,s a living legend and a UNBEATEN IBF champ ... GTFO ronda was still playing with barbie dolls when lucia was knocking out woman and MAN
Boxers can not fight in the octagon, didnt you see what happend the last time a boxer stepped foot in the octagon? YOU GTFO with youre coolbreezebutthole
your really one sided arnt you? you cant just step into a ring, street fight, or octagon and except to win with just boxing skills. GTFO
Jarrett Dreaver
Of course the more all round you are the better it is for you !!
She just has amazing technique
Those guys punch all arms, haha. Give me a go...lol
"We're gonna pit you against a male fighter, same height, same weight...."
Aaaaaaand there's your problem. Men are on average taller, heavier, and more muscular. Oops. #Science.
Different style of punches.. Totally inaccurate tests...
i agree. luci can with a hook. you get more power from a hook punch than a stright punch.
I've met lucia, she is an absolute delight and charming but she did get knocked out by a man in 2 rounds
Floyd Mayweather as a super featherweiight could punch 1200
They threw two different punches 😂😂😂
But can she knock a man out tho.
The other guys were hurling abuse at him "you got hit by a girl you faggot", and did not allow the 2 to step out of the ring
She lost her 1 and only (exhibition) fight against a powerful and skilled Korean guy though
Type in on RUclips: Lucia rijker vs man. She gets her ass handed to her by a new zeland guy with a record of 13-3 which no one has ever heard of before.
how did she hit harder?... try 3ft run up before she punched
Who cares? 90% of us would be lying on the ground anyway...
yani9o I'd have thought most of us would have jumped out of the way.
I think that test is wirred because...
She is a female puncher
He is a overall boxer not specialized to be a puncher or to be a boxer based on speed.
Smaler Spot more momentum on 1 inch²
And also the sentence "u broke the dummy" is not true because the plate wasnt at the dummy when mo hits it.
Also here different punches of both boxers.
Can I ask why you spell punch with a s?
With "an" s !.
Sorry
G Colinn Did i? ;)
Yeah but it's an honest mistake. I don't know why i'm being such a Grammar Nazi. :P
Love how they add the back of the head for the girl to add effect.
I guarantee if you put Lucia in a cage or boxing ring with a male, she'd get her butt kicked.
depends on the male
Samuel Gallagher Anderson Silva !
HaterFtvv the dude who broke his leg :!
HaterFtvv Anderson Silva!
devin oneill He would beat her ass with one leg ffs
bullshit the back of the head wasnt even on for the man...
Tammie K
im pretty sure it was the guy that punched first...
"I don't want to say I punch like a man, I punch like a coördinated athlete."
Respect for her saying something like this instead of being all over her head with it.
Science, my ass.
Got knocked out by a nobody once she fought a man
this show is comparing apples to oranges
She has way better technique in both cases. Let her train him her style and then make test again. This is not objective test, it just proves that she has better technique, but it did not prove she is has stronger punch.
Good point. But this does prove that girls can punch harder than guys.
just a bad test
This proves, that good technique has meaning. It is funny, because it means, that girls boxers have harder fights that guys, when they are competing with her.
Akemi Nina
No it doesn't.
It all come down to training
if black guy stood a little bit farther he could have made bigger impact, Lucia extended her hand farther, making a stronger punch.
What is this? Buzzfeed?
I like how they left that piece on the back of the dummy's head for when the woman punched, to make it look like her punch was more powerful.
Totally inaccurate.
Before I start, let me tell you, she is good, really good, probably better than the dude(that had a shitty form, don't know if they told him to pretend tho or to punch with less force, because he seems to be bored/forced)
1. Different punches/techniques = different amounts of power.
2. She uses all of her body, he only moves his torso and arms.
3. Exactly the same size and weight, the overage woman is smaller and thinner than the overage male, but they didn't include that in their "statistics"... it didn't suit them.
08:48 - 08:54 "Lucia hit just as hard as the professional MMA fighter Huston the assasin(...)"
08:59 "so how can this woman punch *harder* than a professional MMA fighter" LMAO? WAIT, we go from "just as hard" to "harder than" ?!
This is totally bogus + the dummy part when the part of his head gets "broken" was totally bullshit, these dummy's are hard as hell, they would NEVER break with a punch, no matter who punched it.
PS: I'm in no way saying that a woman can't punch as hard as a man, but this video was shit and biased.
She has better technique, and she has those small ass gloves on.
You noticed that too? I saw it in the teaser.
This is the same kind of "science" that we're seeing too much of lately.
I noticed that her gloves were smaller as well.
he can smell the difference....her hair products, etc..
That is true but maybe a feminine man ??
fish?
This is what feminism does. #Cancer
what a crap 'science' show... at least compare the same type of punch
Neither punch was strong enough to knock out a 100% healthy trained male boxer/MMA fighter which requires over a 1,000 pounds of force. Women have different shaped heads than males so it is easier to knockout a female.
he through a straight left she through a left hook whats the point of this ?
She's a great female boxer.
Just remember that she lost to a male Muay Thai fighter.
She got knocked out😂
