Catfish Jugging - Truman Lake

In this video, my Dad and I spend the day jugging for catfish on Truman Lake in Missouri! We are targetting flathead, blue and channel catfish. We are using a mixture of fresh live bait (green sunfish) and fresh cut bait (bluegill and green sunfish). Watch us and learn how to catch your own catfish bait, rig up your own jug lines, catch and land your own catfish! We even caught a surprise species! Truman Lake holds a very diverse array of wildlife, including many, MANY species of game fish that I have made a lifestyle out of catching, as a sustenance outdoorsman. Truman Lake is our home away from home and I am proud to say that I spent much of my childhood on these waters and am now loving it just as much as an adult! I really wish I lived closer to Truman, I was at a brushpile near sparrowfoot in August, I set jugs and two poles with dropped suspended bait, it was fun
