congrats on the buck, i was watching 2 on trail cam this year waitting for open day just to find out the land owner didnt want me in the woods for the evening hunt, so all i been able to do is 2 morning hunts and havent seen either of the bucks except for 1 day 30 mins left of last light on cam. sad days

What an awesome hunt, and with two big bucks showing up. Your first shot was lethal, just would have taken him a considerable time to die. Glad you are into recording like that, we can all enjoy a great hunt. I use a Tactacam to record mine, but I'm not going to drag any other gear with me or be worried about moving a camera around when I'm on a nice deer. Congrats and good luck with the rest of the season-you are obviously off to a great start.

Iam excited to see it .waiting to go .try to finish Chores. I shoot cross bow Disabled. Last yr had a 6 point. At 40 yards at dust Wasn't sure about branches Didn't tack the shot over and over wish i had of . Didn't want to track it in the Dark and coyotes bad Didn't want to give tha a free meal. Ha. Very nice buck young man. Impressed with your intestinal fortitude and determination on tracking your buck. Your video was fine. I'm an old man with old eyes and I could tell it was a schwacker as you were loading it. Haters are gonna hate. Stay positive and true to yourself that's all that matters. On a funnier note. I had one of our shooter bucks at less than twenty yards Sunday. My wife wanted to watch the shot and leaned forward in her chair and it made a heck of a noise and he was gone. We are talking a mid 170 class buck. I just started laughing as she was crying. Like I said I'm older and I've killed my fair share of big bucks, so it was funny to me. She's still learning to hunt and I'd rather watch her harvest animals than me get one. He was on my side is the only reason I was going to shoot. I'm also located in MO so you have one more subscriber.

Small looking holes…the resolution was so poor on the video I couldn’t tell what head you were using. But I’m guessing a small fixed blade.

Ive done a few free dives myself, im no pro but how you handled that shot and the cat could have gotten you hurt. The shot placement hitting the tail area wasnt ideal but you managed to deal with it.

Hatchery raised trout will literally hit anything… even an empty gold hook. To me, that ain’t fishing.

A local tavern used to have turtle soup. We used to catch them and sell them to him or trade for a bar tab or two... 👌👀👍
