      Wiggins is good, Anderson from what I’ve seen seems to be good for the flow of the offense but in the second unit when hes forced to facilitate or shoot the ball he’s been abysmal. He’s no Sean Livingston which is what I assume his role would be, but he needs to at least be somewhat consistent in some aspect. He’s been below par in my eyes

      ⁠​⁠@@Agaricomycetesit’s only looked this way because podz, steph, and melton have been out at different times and the team has been left with one ball handler and that forces anderson to be an on ball point guard . Which he can do in spurts but not long periods of times. Slow mo has looked really good to me all the way around, especially on the defensive side of the ball and he’s a good passer/screener. He should be more efficient offensively going forward in his real role

    It's crazy and much credit to new GM Dunleavy that Dubs were able to sign Hield, Melton, Kyle Anderson and Lindy Waters for less than the price of last year's Klay, leading to more depth, more defense, and even more 3-point shooting...

      @@rainmaker2338 while i hate players exaggerations esp if its unwarranted but the refs are human - they cant look at everything. if they're focusing on the ball, they might miss a glancing blow that doesnt seem to move the defender or they dont have the right angle to notice. its really difficult when guys get hit in the eye - it only takes a slight finger touch and hurts like crazy but you cant really normally see it.
      but yeah it def should have been called and tatum was doing a lot of pushing off that wasnt called either. the pushoffs in the thunder/nuggs game last night was even worse and wasnt called - hopefully they dont get away with that too much in the game vs the warriors

    I think it's a bit disingenuous to call Tatum a role player in the second half, when he overall had 14 potential assists and only 2 converted, he was the star last night, but I will admit he fell asleep on the Hield dagger. (also on that Holiday Curry back cut i don't understand how that's on Tatum, looks like Jrue incorrectly assumed Curry would cut under Kuminga, and Curry being the great off-ball talent that he is made him miss)

    Buddy won't start.. Kerr wants his spacing in the 2nd unit with Kuminga.. gives JK more room to operate.. Kerr finally separated JK and Steph.. Sure there'll be overlap but not much.. Buddy will close games with Steph though.. think of him as using Iggy's minutes.. doesn't start, but closes halves/games.. Kerr wants balance in the second unit.. only way Buddy starts is if Melton or Waters gets ultra reliable from deep. Reliable enough to draw the same kind of attention as buddy does...
    You didn't listen to me about Dame being a disaster in MIL, but listen to me now lol

    This defense reminds me of the '90's Knicks and Bulls, or Heat; very active, hard hedging on high P&R, swarming the ball and being physical. Similar to the 2004 Pistons too.

    Bruv are we just gonna pick and choose everything when it comes to the Celtics? Tatum just went for 32 on 70% ts while Curry was 8/17, and last season these bois went for 150 points against the Warriors and then went on to win the chip as well last year just to remind you because it seems like we've already forgotten, and I don't think half of the "concerns" with this team really matters when they're coached by someone like Joe Mazzula of all people. Are you guys just hungry for anything to get an edge over the Celtics no matter the circumstance? I'm not even a Celtics fan being concerned by the way you approach these games, I'm a Hawks fan that is noticing that you all have this team under way too big of a magnifying glass.

    Buddy doesn't need to start. He is playing like 22 Poole or what should have been 23-24 Klay Thompson's role as a sixth man. The warriors have always been offensive lacking as of late whenever Curry sits.

    Their ability to identify players and get what they need cheap is amazing
    Both teams win the offseason by miles ahead of the others

    In the Warrior system, Buddy becomes a very hard to guard player. He fills the Klay position with more movement, and compared to the last 2 years, better at the the 3 with a quicker/more athletic release

    Coach, why so much emphasis on not allowing middle penetration? Can you do a video about it? I have an idea but would love to hear you explain.
    In casual pickups, it's common to say "push middle" because that's where the help defense is, and it's very hard to help on baseline.

    They call that shit as a travel (which they let go when anyone else does it) but lechoke can take 6-7 steps every time he gets the ball...
    Interesting too...ive counted 4 times warriors travelled RIGHT IN FRONT of a ref. No call.

    Great game. Warrios and celtics are 2 great constructed teams. It will be fun to see a rematch in the final of those two. For the next time i wish the refs do not want to participate this much there were to many calls for either side that should be no calls, just let them play.

    Im eating crow on the buddy signing. I didn't think adding Klay - the ego would move the needle THIS MUCH. Seeing as the warriors didnt add a notable big, i thought they'd be stagnant. Pleasantly surprised.

    Ahh yes a meaningless game in November where one team blitzes like it’s the playoffs & the other team is missing 2 starters. No mention of the BS 3 point gimme the refs gave Curry on a moving screen that changed the game. No biggie , gon be a different game from January on

    The Celtics unlocked that throw two at Tatum gimmick. They scored 70 in the second half, and he finished with 30 on 10 of 20. They saw the Dubs best without JB and the Unicorn and figured it out. Better now than later.

    the reason the C's struggled against the Heat the past few years was because the Heat played physical! They muck up the game and prevent the C's from playing their pretty little tiki taka ball movement shooting game. Physical hard defense is key against this Celtics team!

    I thought the warriors had an excellent strategy of double teaming Tatum & keeping him no middle to make him more of a passer.
    I understand he did have 32, yes. But the idea is MUCH better than how the Knicks guarded the PNR with having Towns involved in drop coverage. 😀

    3:05 I don't get why this isn't treated like a step through. Why is lifting the pivot foot the travel in this scenario rather than planting it? If he caught it full sprint, he could lift his foot and do a layup or dribble no problem.

    lol the Warriors barely beat the Celtics without Brown and KP, not to mention that Hauser left the game after getting hit in the eye. That’s our 2nd and 3rd best player and main wing depth all out to close the game. If one of those guys were playing at the end the Celtics probably win lmao.
