      @Ishai1 14 дней назад +12

      The system is also a great fit for him.
      He's on pace to have a career season shooting 3s. His best was two seasons ago, 288 threes in 80 games. That's 3.6 a game, he's at 4.7 right now.
      Like he said, he's never been more free. Playing in this system and next to Steph will do that.

    • @greyklopstock7155
      @greyklopstock7155 14 дней назад +7

      @@Ishai1people were saying "wait for him to fall off..." Like, if he drops 10%, he'll STILL be at 41%! Buddy Hield has such a crazy fast release, and in case everyone forgot, Klay Thompson wasn't exactly known for being able to boogie with the basketball off the dribble. So you slot Buddy in, and instead of telling him to guard the other team's best guard and shoot threes, you're basically saying "dog, if you have any space, let it fly. Just launch or cut, we got the rest." The bad habits of players sometimes only happen cause of poor schematic fit. Being forced to make reads or do stuff that's outside your skill set, you're gonna have inefficient stretches. But we're basically only asking him to do the stuff he's elite at. If he's at 16ppg shooting 40% from three OFF THE BENCH for the season, that's FANTASTIC production

    Crazy how The GSWs are still a relevant threat for Over a decade now. Despite a few recent missed playoffs. They have been to 6 of the last 10 finals. they miss the playoffs two seasons in a row and every body thought they were done. They come back the next season and win their 4th championship in 2022!! That was just only 3 seasons ago. They have another playoff miss last season but this season after 8 games it's looking like 2022 again. The consistency within the organization is amazing.

    I've watched every Warriors game so far and they are set for a terrific season. Outside of a sloppy game against the Clips, they've been great. Ideally, Kerr keeps Curry's minutes around 20-25 a night (that didn't happen tonight).

    • @dwightazupardo2848
      @dwightazupardo2848 14 дней назад +10

      Kerr had no choice but to put Steph out there a bit longer, Podz was out, Melton was out, and there was no true PG to run the 2nd unit. But it is okay though, if the team is they play is a bit weaker, then play the bench a bit more. If it is a play-off team, then we need steph out there as a decoy to space the floor for others

    • @Ishai1
      @Ishai1 14 дней назад +4

      I think when it's close in the 4th quarter, especially against great teams, he'll put him back in sooner. Playing 34 once in a while is fine, they just need to put weaker teams away and not let them back in the game.

    • @tiredbasketballfan
      @tiredbasketballfan 14 дней назад +1

      I'm not sure 20-25 is a great idea. It was this way to start the season because of all the blowouts and the injury, but ideally you'd want him around 30-32 and as long as it's a team effort instead of 'Curry carry us' he should be totally fine

    Looney is the most underrated Warrior in NBA history. Without him, I guarantee they would have never won any of the 4 championships. The guy is a workhorse, a coach's dream.

    Warriors have a great line up to match the Celtics. It'll be interesting to see what happens with Jaylen Brown in the line up too. In that instance you probably swap out Horford for JB, then Draymond/Looney get tested more on switches. But hey, there is only 1 ball, so plonking a Superstar on the floor and not running your offense correctly is not going to win you games. Buddy is also such an upgrade over Klay, just more active, can run a one man break and score (Klay can't do that anymore).

      @woutakasinistra , that was 3 seasons ago to a different team. Again, what happened last season but EARLIER this year in Boston Mar 3 to the same Warriors team? A 52-point DEMOLITION.

    • @woutakasinistra
      @woutakasinistra 7 дней назад

      @@shanewilliams2253 Still had Tatum on it, failing in the finals bro, that 'different' team. Regular Season don't mean a thing, it's about the PO's and you know it. Nice they won by 52 but it was still just a win. But have a good life enjoying a March 3 regular season win bro🤙

    • @shanewilliams2253
      @shanewilliams2253 7 дней назад

      @woutakasinistra , you Warrior fans are interesting hypocrites who like to move the goalpost. This thread is about a regular season win and "owning" the Celtics (previous meetings). I brought up an earlier demolition never seen before in the league; you jump back 3 seasons ago to the finals. You want to pick and choose which wins, or games are favorable. Lmao. You bring up Tatum failing in the finals three years ago to a more experienced team known for its illegal screens, favorable officiating, and allowing Draymond to get away with whatever he wants(football plays in games 2 & 4). The officiating rattled celtics; luckily, they've grown and RECENTLY won the NBA title.
      Enjoy your championship from three seasons ago and the memories of beating the Celtics because that was your last TITLE. And, if you were to make an appearance, I WOULD LOVE for a Healthy CELTICS to play a HEALTHY Warriors in the finals. C's will beat you worse than the Mavs.
