I bought a set up like this after we had a hail storm. It is amazing how well it can work. I can see after a few cars there is quite a learning curve. I have been doing paint and bodywork for nearly 20 years and glue pulling opens up the door for little or even no body filler without going through the factory coatings both on the front or backside. Best money I ever spent. I usually wind up with an over pull that gets tapped down.
I think it was a couple hundred dollars. I got the slide hammer and the dent puller pictured. If your doing lots of dents you need a lot of glue tabs, but they are reusable to a certain extent. I bought mine off EBay. This is cheap compared to the PDR rods for pushing dents out, but glue pulling may not work for cars with repaints or older lacquer paint. You might pull the paint off before the metal gives. I really like the puller pictured I'd like to get one for the welded studs as well. I haven't played around to much with glue pulling, but no glue I've used so far works good on bare metal. I think if I had a lot of time I'd rather epoxy something like a roofing nail to the dent to be pulled rather than using a stud gun that is going to burn off the coating on the back of the metal. You'd need to be careful grinding it off that you don't create to much heat and burn it anyway. If you can back seal the repair it isn't really an issue ,destroying the inner coating that is. If you under pull the dent do it again, or step up the tab size. Make sure the surface was free of grease or wax in the first place. I've found your most likely going to over pull the dent, so your going to need the tools to tap the over pull back in.
BoogieDownProduction That color looks pretty forgiving. The car is pretty new, so might not have repair paint work and sound paint on it. The thing with glue pulling is you must be prepared to do some painting if it fails. I just did a truck that pulled the clear off the top edges, but just about pulled the dent to no body filler. Long creases are hard to make right. If the dent is to deep or sharp it won't come out well either. That car looked like a lot would be easy, but there are some trouble spots. Most glue pulls I do are too much and then I work at tapping them back. Sometimes they just wont pull out all the way. Will any repair be perfect? No and that is painted or not. You'd be shocked at how well this works with the right tabs and glue, and of course a learning curve.
Robert Presti Jr Thank you for the fantastic explanation. Thinking about it if the cost is right, I could slowly fix it up a dent or two at a time. Any panels I find for cheap I could replace just worried about rear quarter panels and the roof. If I go further is it ok if I ask you some questions?
Sorry to be so offtopic but does any of you know a way to log back into an instagram account?? I was stupid forgot the password. I appreciate any assistance you can give me
That is slick . I am ASE Autobody repair and Refinishing , that tool seems to work better than all of the paint less tools that you would still have to use on some dents . But easer to use and faster than the other way . I would recommend adding it to the tool kit .🇺🇸🇺🇸🛰💻🗻🏔⛰🕎✝️🎺🎺🎺🎺🎺🎺🎺✡️🔯🐅🐅
@sw5700 10 years ago my car got hit by hail and he is not exaggerating and yesterday I got hit again and now it's more like 10k hits, broke my windows and my car is a wreck 😢
Great video I'm bamboozled u did a great job and that is a great tool your using I'm going to purchase one straight away .well done such a informative video . Players don't be hating on the magician he's got skill to thrill and removes hail stones at will! Wee out
It works, it really does work! I bought a system and it has been used every day to remove dents and dings. Every time feels like magic when you clean up and it's gone! Paid for itself on day one!
And you were so ugly the doctor slapped your mother instead!. I could trade insults with you forever,God knows you make it so easy but not really a fair fight.you got nothing else to do? Maybe coax your IQ into double figures or iron your face?.
Looks good to me. I'm ordering one. I'll review it here afterwards. I'm not paying out the arse for dent removal anymore.....and if I EVER see someone dent my car, their insurance (life and health) better be up to date!
I just put a nasty ding into my brand new 2016 shadow black mustang... I had it for exactly 1 week today, stupid long doors. This video gives me hope.. Lol
It's lol real. I got a wizard on my side. has pulled out many dents on several cars. The definitely work magic. 250 bucks for my entire truck. about 25 dings and dents. good to know people in the right places.
hey to who ever made this tool. Place a small tab of wax paper under the edge of the glue stuff. It will give you a bit to pull it off by not sticking to the car.
Bai yeh gum.kon sa hai aur yeh toool.khaan se mil.skta hai plz btana bro meri bick ke petrol tank.per dent pda huya hai bhut parishaan hon aur humare jhaan koi dent nekilne bala be nhi hai bro
I've always wondered how they get those little rascals out. Looks like you would need a lot of patients for that job. Looking at tiny dimples all day long would drive me bananas
I was looking into buying this toll but it doesn’t come with a little spray bottles or the glue so I don’t know what to use ,, Or where to buy,, could you shed some light on that please
My car got hit pretty bad with hail and I live where it gets super hot (100's) I'm pretty sure that's an urban legend. Mine has been out in the heat a lot and it looks the same :( I'm going to try one of these kits for the heck of it.
Depends. Some larger dents you can pop out to some extent using a heat gun and cold water. But they won't magically disappear, but will look a lot better. There are a few vids showing this technique.
+NGC 660 hi, try to pousevthe vid on 1:30 and then 2:30. I see no difference. when he buffes it out thats when he exchanges new cut of video with smooth paintwork. he should just wipe once maybe to make it look like genuine. I bought few in past and nothing worked for me.
what if i have ONE small door ding on my rear fender right where is has a factory body crease, how much should i be charged at a body shop to fix it and fix like 3 or 4 other tiny paint chips? anybody know? i just bought this car that is pretty much new and I wanna keep it that way
Any were from 100 to 400 depending on were you go and who you now,and what you idear of tiny is, sometimes can be tricky around factory body crease if its on the line, if your handy just get some bondo and touch up paint and do it yourself, watch a ytube video on how to bondo and touch up small dent .quick estimate if you didnt have anything grab this kit some sand papper $10.00, and some touch up paint about 15.00 and you can get to match car just go to pepboys and they will get you the correct match, some tape and newspaper and your good to go its easy,if your car is really nice paid to have it done, if its not a really expensive car try it yourself. cost you $30 to$40bucks good luck watch a few viedos Zoom [+]
Not really. Once you have the skill it would be a lot faster. Having said that, it would probably be more cost effective to replace/repaint a panel after a certain number of dents. At the end of the day it will be whatever is cheapest from the insurers point of view. If you could do it yourself, it would cost a lot less, so you might choose to do this method rather than sand/fill and repaint.
Should we start with a zoom out and away, to see the whole, then stay focused on the target zone? How are we to be sure this is a door to a vehicle of any kind?
i tried to use the glue stick that came with the kit but it didn't work. but i tried it about 2 this morning. idk if this dealing with the temp. or not.

BoogieDownProduction Not a problem, but as I said I'm fairly new to glue pulling as well, however not bodywork.
That finger pointing in the end was “EPIC”.

@Sage Seth Instablaster ;)
there is a visible blur at 2:39, "feather" the selected area, than apply the blur effect so the edges won't be visible :)
There sure is! Scam artists everywhere.
lol, if you pause near 2:33 / 2:34 you see the dent brushed away even better :D

You sure it isn't the liquid drying?

Worked great on my door dent
Did you heat up the section before using the tool. Wanted to check if there were any cracks. By the way, a no non sense video, crisp and to the point.
No
Thanks Mr. Finger.
Super impressive. I have the same ding on my car roof and this looks doable.
Sure, if one ding is what you have. I have at least a dozen on my hood alone!
Thanks! Its really works!
Rony Ak. Sindang فيحكككل
Thanks for the video. Please show how to work with the rods to upsetting the tapered dents..
I just put a nasty ding into my brand new 2016 shadow black mustang... I had it for exactly 1 week today, stupid long doors. This video gives me hope.. Lol
Brooooo tell me about some dumb ass skank just dinged my back door on my 2016 wrx
2016 370z, have a couple of door dings. I was shamed till saw your responses guys.
It's lol real. I got a wizard on my side. has pulled out many dents on several cars. The definitely work magic. 250 bucks for my entire truck. about 25 dings and dents. good to know people in the right places.
Why do I see a dent before he starts wiping it with a rag and after he finishes the dent is gone. What magic is contained within that rag sir!?
Photoshop..
Perhaps it's from the liquid he sprayed on it, after removing the glue
The rag is the dent remover...the rest are toys to play with...
Gonna get me one of those rags for sure. Maybe a spare one too.
@Jon Doe I had the same experience using this device. Mine is a three (3) footer.
Where i can buy this toll
2:38 Looks like the microfiber towel did all the work .
Thanks for circling and pointing at the dent. I simply couldn't have seen it otherwise.
They do it when they mark the dents to fix so they can easily find them. Not really for the video.
Thanks for sharing! The music is hot!!!
I don't know a lot about automobile body work, but I know quite a bit about image manipulation work and this is a shoddy job.
🤣
Nice cut man
Thx for this video !
So satisfying... 👌
hey to who ever made this tool. Place a small tab of wax paper under the edge of the glue stuff. It will give you a bit to pull it off by not sticking to the car.
I see he is using black hot glue , I have white or clear glue is that ok to use ? second question what kind a spray that removes the glue
would using a heat gun after pulling/removing the glue help straighten the sheet metal even more?
On something that small probably not.
That’s the best I’ve seen, don’t need to hammer down.
Do older cars ..let's say a 1987 respond as well even if the gauge was a little thicker than today's cars?
This will save me a lot of money--only if it works as well as it's shown. I'm thinking that this might take some practice?
So, you have to do this procedure twice?
Looks great. I wish I could use that.
Fark bro your a sick mad onya bruz....
Allen please tell whats the name of the glue you used. And what type of alcohol to use to clean the glue after the dent is fixed?
Please advise what kind of spray was used. Thank you
Its just an isopropyl alcohol
Bai yeh gum.kon sa hai aur yeh toool.khaan se mil.skta hai plz btana bro meri bick ke petrol tank.per dent pda huya hai bhut parishaan hon aur humare jhaan koi dent nekilne bala be nhi hai bro

Where do you get the glue and glue remover
hello, I wanted to know what kind of glue you are using and what the release is thanks
Whats the difference between this method and the slide hammer?

TRusty394 yes
хорошая работа лайк !
Do I have really have to mark my with a red sharpie?
Very cool and professional. Bit the sound track on the video is just horrible , sorry.
Looks like magic
I have a new Benz and need my out as soon as possible and what kind of glue was that plus what site do I find that tool?
thank you
Congratulations for not cutting away the camera. Most all commercials use constant cut away & it makes the results look suspicious.
he definitely cut the camera, you need to wait 3-5 minutes for the glue to dry, this kit is a joke.
i got my new car hammered with hailstorm.. 50+ dents.. lol.. lot of work to do.. how many glue sticks would it consume?
Can you use this technique to remove dents in a stainless steel fridge?
No, it's illegal.
Be the rebel.
Will it work for the much denser top edges of a door frame
No, just buy a new car.
I've always wondered how they get those little rascals out. Looks like you would need a lot of patients for that job. Looking at tiny dimples all day long would drive me bananas
I was looking into buying this toll but it doesn’t come with a little spray bottles or the glue so I don’t know what to use ,, Or where to buy,, could you shed some light on that please
where can i buy that exact same paintless dent removal tool

Ok I have heard you can use ice old water on a hot day to remove dents is that true
My car got hit pretty bad with hail and I live where it gets super hot (100's) I'm pretty sure that's an urban legend. Mine has been out in the heat a lot and it looks the same :( I'm going to try one of these kits for the heck of it.

There are a few vids showing this technique.
I’ve heard dry ice on a hot day will do it.

Do I need to sweep it up do I need to put in a certain receptacle? Like I don't even know...

Wow, so this is why hail damage repair costs so much? Imagine having to do this for all those dents, it would take days if not weeks!
