Eduardo Urbina Resurrection was not the worst imo. I think the worst was 3 because all the important characters died, but I believe 5 will ignore 3 and resurrection and go on from ALIENS
Fun fact! The flames effect where Norris' head rips itself from his body in The Thing was achieved by using a flame bar underneath the camera. Also, the green goop that comes out of Norris' green tendons was originally so toxic that the entire set had to be aired out. Fun fact! The scene in which Hicks sticks the shotgun into the alien's mouth was shot in reverse because Hicks was having a hard time getting the shotgun into the model's mouth. Also they had to rip the roof off of the APC prop because the smoke knocked one of the actors out. Also, on the set of Aliens, someone was almost killed by the APC - which basically a modified jet liner tow vehicle you might have found in airports a few years ago.
"Great effects...for the time." Erm, no Watchmojo, those effects look great even today. Rob Bottin and John Carpenter worked endlessly to make sure the creature didn't just look like some guy in a mask, and it payed off.
Practical effects just can't look bad. Since they're real, they always look real. CG looks good in the moment, but eventually better software will come by and blow it out of the water
+Caleb Horton i was thinking the same thing. it's a shame the practical effects crusaders had to implant their butthurt-ness into movies where they're done really well.
+pokemaster123ism that's pretty funny. any type of effect can look fake as all shit if it's not done right. that rancor in return of the jedi looks like it's made out of plastic and clay rather than living flesh. the only reason it looks good is because it's poorly lit.
+pokemaster123ism Depends. Some CGI effects actually age quite well, if blended with actual footage correctly. Jurassic park, for example, still holds up pretty well. As well as a number of other 90s movies. And the same goes for practical effects, some don't age as well as others.
independence day, war of the worlds, the arrival, district 9, lifeforce, signs, stargate, visitors etc... all are remarkable movies that include human vs alien fights
Where's Starlord vs Ronan from Guardians of the Galaxy? Ronan- "What are you doing?" Starlord- "Dance off Bro!!!" Ronan- *raises eyebrow* Starlord- "I'm distracting you Bro!!"
Aliens or Predator, both are awesome Missing: "BUGS!!!" Starship Trooper "Oh I doo looove Muuurder" Flesh Gordon vs the Great God Porno Nesuahyrrah, Flesh Gordon Firehose vs Triffid, Day of the Triffids Construction Crane vs Martian Energy Demon, Quatermass and the Pit
Not even an honorable mention from Starship Troopers' Klendathu Invasion or Whiskey Outpost standoff? Or the final battle of the F-18's vs. Locust Mothership in Independence Day? Jeez WM.
When I watch Avatar 2009 final battle, I through how could anyone film this awesome scene until I remember James Cameron had already film mech-suit wearing human fighting giant alien in Aliens 1986.
Can a kangaroo jump higher than a house? Of course, a house doesn’t jump at all. P.S. If u have some time check me out punching pizza, super intense! and have a wonderful day!! ;)
+Punching Guy I've seen a house towed on a trailer, while nobody takes jumps with this setup, it can be done, so a house can jump higher than a kangaroo... though none have yet
I don't give a shit if Jake is inhabiting a Na'vi body or not, he's still a human. The na'vi body he uses is made by humans and can only be accessed by humans. Without the human element, it would be an empty husk that can't do shit. The last fight in Avatar is a human vs another human. One of the humans is wearing an alien body, but he's still human. Quaritch pilots a giant mechasuit, Jake pilots a Na'vi body but both still need the human element. Avatar fight doesn't count, in my opinion.
WELL DONE WATCHMOJO!!!!! Finally a well deserved Number 1 spot. Im really proud of the Predator being first instead of the Alien. Don`t get me wrong. BOTH are iconic franchises. But for me personal are Arnold and Predator my Heros. Thanks for making the right decision! ;)
The Thing is still my favorite alien movie aside from Alien and Predator. It was horrifying and what really freaked me out about it is you NEVER knew who was infected... It always kept me guessing...
***** It has been a while but I am kinda sure he was the first seasons villain....either that or I am placing him there. I wish they would make a new Power Rangers movie with him in it,
_"Luke shows almost no sign of fear..."_ Don't know what you've been watching but he almost crapped himself and his relief after the rancor was dead was huge as well. Almost all of RotJ was about Luke overestimating himself and underestimating his foes.
One of the more odd one-liners in history... "I...have had...enough of...YOU!" And what is with that comment about the great effects for "The Thing" being "at least for the time"? I'll take those effects over all of the "cartoons" we get from CGI farts all over the screen nowadays.
You should do "Top ten themed youtube channels that have run their course but refuse to die gracefully" .... and then after that you should do "Another top ten themed youtube channels that have run their course but refuse to die gracefully".
Arnold vs Predator and Ripley vs Xeno Queen better be on top.
Yup. I was right
But The Thing could be on number 3.
Well there was no surprise, those two were destined to get those spots
"I'm sorry, was that your auntie?"-Will Smith
If Alien vs Ripley isn't number 1 I'm gonna eat a broomstick.
I look forward to seeing you eat the broomstick
What can be more cool then seeing Arnold Schwarzenegger fight a Predator ?
Alien 5 HYPE!!!
How's the broomstick tasting?
Eduardo Urbina Resurrection was not the worst imo. I think the worst was 3 because all the important characters died, but I believe 5 will ignore 3 and resurrection and go on from ALIENS

+pokemaster123ism yes exactly yep
+Caleb Horton i was thinking the same thing. it's a shame the practical effects crusaders had to implant their butthurt-ness into movies where they're done really well.

I said to myself "what could possibly be better than Ripley vs the Queen?" Then quickly said "oh yeah....nevermind"
"Do you agree with our list?"
"Not much choice"
simply genius
what about batman vs superman?
Not out yet and let's be honest. Supes would win outright easily.
+Joseph Bunales I don't know about that Bruce is really good I mean the man know all fighting styles known to humans and he's super smart
+Amed fever Super can beat him by literally exhaling at him. NO AMOUNT OF PREP TIME will give Batsy an edge against him.
+Joseph Bunales batman actually wins in the animated movie..and in the comics
+stainglass He wins 'cos Supes won't kill him. A deathmatch would last about 3 seconds. Superman is just op
I can't take that Klingon seriously, because all I hear is Doc Brown
Mark G
Which one?
I knew Predator would be on top! And I fully agree for once!
thePredman#9 lol helll yes love predator!
ABSOLUTELY!!!
YES YES YES PREDATOR IS ALWAYS ON TOP!!!
Predator is the baest
Spoil
"Hello boys, I'm baaaaaack!"
arnold zschwarzenegger: hey this is my line!
+Juanjose 121 I thought you be back when you put the cookie down
+Juanjose 121 Shut up and get to da choppa !!!
DO IT NOW !!!
+Oriel Sibonga (the predator)
independence day, war of the worlds, the arrival, district 9, lifeforce, signs, stargate, visitors etc... all are remarkable movies that include human vs alien fights
Gonna guess Arnold vs Predator.
EDIT: Oh hell yeah! That fight deserved #1
Very much so.
Where's Michael Jordan VS the Mon-Stars?
He'll yeah
+Stanley Ipkiss It's more of a game than a battle, otherwise it'd have to be #1 of course.
+Schwindsichtiga der Echte I knew it would have been good
Where's Starlord vs Ronan from Guardians of the Galaxy?
Ronan- "What are you doing?"
Starlord- "Dance off Bro!!!"
Ronan- *raises eyebrow*
Starlord- "I'm distracting you Bro!!"
Good choices. I do believe Starship Troopers deserves a nod.
I love the fight between the queen alien and ripely Scott
“Get away from her you b$#ch!”
Where's is the final battle from "Signs"? I loved it...
Riccardo Celembrini What, “water”? Dumb M. Night twist as always.
Halfway expected couple scenes from Doom.
Aliens or Predator, both are awesome
Missing:
"BUGS!!!" Starship Trooper
"Oh I doo looove Muuurder" Flesh Gordon vs the Great God Porno Nesuahyrrah, Flesh Gordon
Firehose vs Triffid, Day of the Triffids
Construction Crane vs Martian Energy Demon, Quatermass and the Pit
Starship Troopers
Yes - it never got a mention
From the movie battleship, USS Missouri vs Alien Mother Ship
Not even an honorable mention from Starship Troopers' Klendathu Invasion or Whiskey Outpost standoff? Or the final battle of the F-18's vs. Locust Mothership in Independence Day? Jeez WM.
definitely number 1 and 2 since there both my favorite alien movies
I think humen vs humenoid shouldn't be included.
true
It's spelt human
+samuel the gaming camel66 oops
V
the predator is a humanoid tho, i think the predator counts
When I watch Avatar 2009 final battle, I through how could anyone film this awesome scene until I remember James Cameron had already film mech-suit wearing human fighting giant alien in Aliens 1986.
Can a kangaroo jump higher than a house?

+Punching Guy I've seen a house towed on a trailer, while nobody takes jumps with this setup, it can be done, so a house can jump higher than a kangaroo... though none have yet
+10,000subs No Video subbed
+Punching Guy It can't. The question simply asked can the kangaroo jump higher than a house.. Not "Can a kangaroo jump higher than a house can?"
+10,000subs No Video I subscribed. Why not? You can subscribe to Spitting Venom Radio.
"In a Galaxy far far away" you forgot that part. Technically they're all aliens.
Isn't number 3 technically sill a human vs human fight?
Actually it is alien versus alien fight. As humans are the aliens on this planet.
I'm from the future, so Infinity War and Endgame is all about alien fights!!
He has a point
"Do you agree with our list?"
"Not much choice"
lmao xD
Transformers are aliens 2, what about that scene with Lockdown and Cade?
Sure optimus finished the job but Cade was fighting
Ja dei ar aliens
Vincetheroguecrusader
Vincetheroguecrusader we don't count that shitty ass transformers film.
Глеб Евдокимов
mojo spot on with number 1. great vid!
This place crawls...Pretty much ALL of Starship Troopers.
Great list!!!!
I bet 10000000000000000000000000$ that alien vs ripely is on the list
The irony is in Avatar, the Commander is technically the alien and James is the "human".
District 9 fight should be in top 10
Predator and Aliens, two of my favorite movies of all time!!
I swear if Arnold vs Predator isnt number 1
What can be more cool then seeing Arnold Schwarzenegger fight an an alien warrior ?
I thought the same thing
WELL DONE WATCHMOJO!!!!!
Finally a well deserved Number 1 spot. Im really proud of the Predator being first instead of the Alien. Don`t get me wrong. BOTH are iconic franchises. But for me personal are Arnold and Predator my Heros.
Thanks for making the right decision! ;)
What about starship troopers
Number 1 was very much deservedly so. Good job WatchMojo.
*The best fight in film history has got to be Star Trek - Kirk vs. Gorn.. look up the video..*
*You'll thank me later..... (with laughter). ✅😁*
nah
The Thing is still my favorite alien movie aside from Alien and Predator. It was horrifying and what really freaked me out about it is you NEVER knew who was infected... It always kept me guessing...
DingDongDanger same
power rangers vs Ivan ooze?
XD
+Alex Valdovinos He still is my favorite Power Rangers major Villain. That plan was awesome!
*****
It has been a while but I am kinda sure he was the first seasons villain....either that or I am placing him there. I wish they would make a new Power Rangers movie with him in it,
+Ghostboy007
He was the villain in the movie.
That shot when the Zord knees him in the crotch is just beautiful.
Tommy "We're the Power Rangers!"
Ivan Ooze "Ooo, where's my autograph book!?"
"I... have had... enough of... YOU!"
Wasn't there a video collection of pre-kill catch phrases?
All characters from Star Wars are aliens
Starship Troopers the bug scene
No Starship Troopers siege?
What about Steven Spielberg's War of the Worlds?
Where is Batman vs Superman?
2:57 "Energy source known as the galaxy" "Energy source" Did you understand it wasn't something metaphorical it was LITERALLY a galaxy.
This many people think #1 and #2 should have been switched.
⬇️
Getting ready to watch.., Leia choking out Jabba should be up there pretty high.. hehehe
is that guy from star trek doc brown? sounds like him lol
+TVT o n s t o r ever heard of google or imdb?
The Fumbo Muffin so much salt- drink some water
It is him Christopher Lloyd
TVT o n s t o r so.... no?
The Fumbo Muffin no what is this thing you speak of?
Good list
Im not suprised Pacific Rim is here.
Favourite Kaiju: Otachi
Who is your favourite?
Oldshoes raiju
Predator numbah one 👌
I knew it, plus Alien Queen is number two, excellent as well!
movie at 11:29 please.
Battle of Los Angeles
That short scene where the Stomach opens up? The Thing, 1982 Version from Carpenter
I was about to complain that Arnie Vs the Yautja wasn't in it until I got to number 1! I totally agree with the list!!
avatar? a masterpiece? are you high?
+John Ochiltree Star wars? please man !
It was the highest in the box office until TFA Came out.
i guess money decides whats good then?
John Ochiltree Well, considering that it is high rated in most critic's books, i would say its not the money that matters.
I liked Avatar
I wanted to see a Top 10 Human vs Animal Fights in Movies!
They got a boatload of variations of that one.
For 2 the queen should have won
when I was a kid and saw the rancor I said out loud "holy shit!" and when he killed it i cheered so loud, it was awesome
GET TO THE CHOPPA!!!!
Another honorable mention is the fight between hopper and the captured alien in Battleship.
Yess predator is one yeaahhhh
_"Luke shows almost no sign of fear..."_
Don't know what you've been watching but he almost crapped himself and his relief after the rancor was dead was huge as well. Almost all of RotJ was about Luke overestimating himself and underestimating his foes.
The fact you called "Avatar" a "masterpiece" makes anything you say on science fiction nullified
+Max Arias Well, many people think it is. Just get over it.
+TheBarser I love that movie
Indeed
It's an opinion, get over yourself.
Max Arias frick off
the thing, star wars, and Aliens make me wonder is CGIs are needed in movies...
ALIENS absolutely 1st place!!!!
BeL1eVe I agree 💯
Meanwhile in space. "I will never go there, they are dangerous as fuck." Says an alien.
Just realized that the villain on 3:47 is the guy from back to the future.
Making the final fight in Predator number 1 was one of the best decisions Watchmojo ever made!
Agent Jay vs Boris the animal from men in black 3 has to be the best I've seen
Edgar bug impersonation: sugar, give me sugar and water moar sugar and water.
One of the more odd one-liners in history... "I...have had...enough of...YOU!"
And what is with that comment about the great effects for "The Thing" being "at least for the time"? I'll take those effects over all of the "cartoons" we get from CGI farts all over the screen nowadays.
The only #1 i agree with in any watchmojo video
You should do "Top ten themed youtube channels that have run their course but refuse to die gracefully" .... and then after that you should do "Another top ten themed youtube channels that have run their course but refuse to die gracefully".
Little did the Rancor know that his last meal would be a Space Moblin.
Alien vs Predator
basically human vs alien vs alien until the end.
solid list
I love your videos
I immediately thought of the dutch vs Predator fight too... Number 1 for sure.
There are no humans in Star Wars!
Where is Battleship ??
Besides Avatar, this is probably the third actually really solid watchmojo video.
1:37 That dude looks like the Engineer from Team Fortress 2 XD
yeah without the helmet yes
Mikoraptor Entertainment Ikr
Nice find huh
Damn nice list. Minus Star Trek and Return of the Jedi.
Dutch vs Predator better be #1!!
3:17
Was that your auntie? Oh sorry
*Steps on uncle*
Oh and that was your uncle?
Love "Battle L.A." The platoon of marines fighting on and on against the army of invading aliens is a hell of a ride.
I couldn't stop laughing when they said 'james cameron masterpiece'
Uh oh I'm sorry was that your auntie oh then that must mean that's your uncle then omg I laughed out loud 😅
I would had included Master Chief's fight with the Hunter in Halo 4 Forward Onto Dawn movie but other than that it's a good, coherent list.
* video reaches Number 4 spot *. "Hello there"
I was actually eating crackers when he said "you might not want to eat during this scene" emphasis on WAS
4:59 probably my favorite scene and it's in my favorite movie
The duel of the fates must be one of the best star wars songs.
