Terrific summary. I have watched a lot of your episodes on the rebuild but seeing this really brings home the challenges you have faced and your grit and determination to get your boat fixed. You have accomplished a huge amount and I am sure learned a lot about yourselves and what you can do in the process. Surprised you don't have more followers - very inspirational!

I am one of those who have watched each of your episodes. They have all been interesting and amazing. But what I find most inspiring is your teamwork and support for each other. This project is one of the most comprehensive "refits" I watch on RUclips. Even though I don't have a boat at present and won't likely have a steel boat, I have learned so much from your challenges - mostly how to not dispare (too much) and keep a good attitude. Congratulations on nearing the true finish line!!!🎉

I hope you kept some of those rusted parts as a permanent souvenir of all the work you did. Heck you could sell them as artifacts of Papa Rumba (what's the new name???) on E-bay!!! LOL

I don't know how to say it but you are like my brother and sister, even though we are much older. My wife and I spend our summers sailing the Sailish sea. I think we will meet someday. All the best to you and yours. Don"t be too discouraged, You dont have kids (yet) and boats are not a whole lot more trouble. Camelot V

Nothing wrong with building content, you certainly have done a lot of work on your boat. Not only doing the work, but having the confidence to set about it in the first place.

You both have such talent and have developed new ones to meet the needs of the project. You appear to have built her back better than new creating something to be proud off. Hard to accept the set backs but you keep going. Congratulations on a major accomplishment so far along the way.

Nice work to both of you! I have enjoyed your videos immensely as I've been working on my own 40' steel ketch (still in the boatyard, after almost two years). I thought replacing the cap rail was a big project, but the work you two are doing is on a different level. Your videos have been inspirational and informative. I don't know what getting out of the boatyard and going sailing again is like yet, but I hope it will be just as good for you as it will be for me :>).
