hmm....understandable i guess....
she spent a long time realizing that death's just always been there and always will be. she realizes what she gives up for death's cordial but unavoidable ushering.
centuries can pass while she stays in that box, while she remains in life but it feels no longer than a few seconds. because one day she realized the horses and the carriage of death have seen it all and will forever stay steady, time became inconsequential. that day stood still for an eternity to her.
the schoolkids and the sun passing showed how her perception of things remaining in life, new and ancient changed as she moved towards death. she felt the dark loneliness as cold as the wind blowing with the dew on her skirt.
when you die, everything inevitably passes you by because where could you even go? you are now a fixed point. everything can only move forward so you are left behind in the wake of the new births and the souls still living but also grander things such as the sun.
processing what you give up, wondering why things still go on while you're fading... realizing this is all the passage that has been, is right now and will continue to be.
death is curt, understanding but he has his carriage and you will get on on time, he needs not rush. you will alight only to arrive in the house they place your body.
just going off the top of my head... its just what i could piece together.
You are awesome!
The wind’s sound makes me feel cold even sitting on my bed under a blanket. It’s so realistic!

All mimsy were the borogoves, And the mome raths outgrabe.
“Beware the Jabberwock, my son! The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun The frumious Bandersnatch!”
He took his vorpal sword in hand; Long time the manxome foe he sought-
So rested he by the Tumtum tree And stood awhile in thought.
And, as in uffish thought he stood, The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood, And burbled as it came!
One, two! One, two! And through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head He went galumphing back.
“And hast thou slain the Jabberwock? Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!”
He chortled in his joy.

@@bruhbruh19705 doesn't make sense sorry and contradicts the meaning of hope. You can hope for anything and that's what hope is about. False hope or true hope doesn't make any sense. If no one knows whether you can find peace after death of how can you say it's false "hope"? It's a false "expectation" if you know a thing for certain.
@@bruhbruh19705 - That makes sense to me but I see it a little differently. Because no one knows what happens after death I don’t think it’s false hope to believe you will find some sort of peace in death no matter what that looks like to you. Once again nobody knows what really happens when we die so maybe we don’t find peace. It’s a circular conversation because the lack of evidence on the topic.
The editing truly is self-explanatory. English teachers should rather let students watch Ted-ed videos at school.
As and English and Literature student where kids always fall asleep, this video would really help
Most of these teachers are too egocentric whose fragile pride would shatter if they let someone other than themselves teach their ideals
Maybe after they draw their own conclusion as to what the meaning of the poem is. It would help stir their imagination and be creative in formulating their own interpretation. Then only after that would show them the video and make a comparison.

What a lovely poem literally touched my heart
Literally?
It's more about getting old expecting death and what would happen. The animation confuses this because it doesn't distinguish between her thinking about getting on the carriage and what might happen over the years to her house because of her death. But at the same time she is thinking these things she's getting older and the house and yard are getting old, until one day just as she has imagined death came for her and she played out the scenario as she imagined time and time again.
I used to be so afraid of death. I lived everyday trying so hard not to think about it.
Therapy and introspection helped me come to terms with death. I can finally live my life.

Personally I've concluded with myself that nothing awaits us after death... It seems the most plausible and simple... If there'll even be a conciousness then, it'll prolly only be met with a dark void. Floating, but not really and waiting, but with no concept of time. Kinda brings me a form of peace to imagine it.
But then again, I'm an atheist, so I guess the answer to that question is gonna be wildly different depending on who you ask in regards to religion...

For you to look upon ourself in the splezndor and amazement of which we are. Who are we or I, but a final imajge of the universes creation. Looking upon it's self in magnificents and grandeur for when the time comes the universe will call us back to the void.
