Supposedly, one of the residents was going to depart for a one month vacation at the French Riviera, but their concern over possible theft of their garden statuary caused them to delay leaving for two hours while they ordered additional security. You have no idea of the horrific humanity and impact this is having on these precious, wealthy people.

I checked Air BnB when the migrants were being shipped out. Martha's Vineyard had at least 150 vacant vacation rentals. Now - 224 units. That means there were over 3x the housing units available in Martha's Vineyard residents' second homes that they weren't using and were sitting vacant, and they didn't let any of the migrants use that housing.

The vast majority of people on the flights are unaccompanied minors who crossed the border, requested asylum under immigration law, and are being released from federal custody to a parent or sponsor.
Some of these flights happen at night, but they are not covert operations. The same types of flights were done by the Trump administration.

It will be contested by the Fed and go to the US Supreme Court for a ruling. this measure is only necessary because Biden’s establishment administration is not enforcing the southern border, as is the lawful requirement.

They need to be issued at least Social Security cards, I used to work for Social service, I saw those " for authorization to work only" cards, meaning can not use them to apply for government benefits like welfare, however the adult did apply and was eligible for their minor children.

Because it's the government's responsibility and not private businesses. Maybe if the governor of Florida hadn't spent $12,000 each to send them they could have had a little extra money left over for hotel expenses.

I've read comments from people who have been to MV and attest to the sheer exclusivity there. My comment was a tongue-in-cheek jab at this and their unwillingness to put up their resources for such a tiny number of people when there are border communities that must use whatever they have to deal with their hundreds and thousands of unannounced guests.
I am neither poor nor wealthy, and there are better things to be jealous about than of people living in a bubble somewhere. MV seems nice, but it's a big country with an awful lot of places I'd rather live.
