Probably a drug seizure, used to be good deals on modded cars but EVERYONE has caught on to it.

@@Fee.1 auctions would sell for well below what they're worth because the people at the auctions wouldn't know about tuners or many of the mods

I work at Copart, same place this guy buys cars, and people just have their med cards and be smokin in their cars leaving all the packaging wherever. Looks like the employee working there as a receiver didn’t clean out the door pockets

He probably got arrested and got his car impounded, then from there they just wanted to auction it off. I'd say it's a good buy if you can get it for cheap...

That actually seems very true. Caught dealing drugs, got arrested, car got searched found more drugs and off to the auction she went. If you can get it for a good price I would definitely buy this and flip it for extra income, or keep it because these 10th Si’s are pretty sick.

@@MrPland1992 what r u smoking? I daily my 2019 si, I am at 50k miles, I have not reset my gas trip meter and I get 30.2 mpg. No corvette will get that bud.. ur comparing a 4 cyl engine to an 8 cyl, no shot a corvette does better on gas
@@MrPland1992 Not Terrible at all, but I was gonna argue with you and question how a corvette could possibly get better mileage but it has to be really specific for it to get 37MPG. (C7) if we're talking about daily driving then you gotta give it to the civic.

A drug dealer that actually has some flavor(must’ve been a real enthusiast) definitely a different type of guy compared to your average charger/challenger driving drug dealers

Pick it up! There's no body damage to fix, and I'm fairly confident it still runs, assuming you jump it and the gas in it is still good. Who knows when this car was actually impounded. Maybe drop in some fuel conditioner before starting.
I think dealerships mark them up $5,000 - 10,000 over msrp so i bought a volkswagen instead because they don't let their dealers add completely bogus fees.
Bought car with drug $$. Kept selling drugs. Finally caught. Whupz.

I really like this gen's body style in a coupe, for some reason, the type r of his gen ain't my favorite, but I think the si/coupes look good.
I agree but their performance just ain't it anymore 👎🏾 the new si looks dope but it got even slower and the sound isn't even good

Shoot who you telling had a 98 Civic Coupe with a B20 w/LS trans I swap myself then added a t3t4 A/R 50 turbo running 6 lb boost total it not that long after..miss that setup

You will never find an automatic Si, they only make them in manual.

The Civic Si is definitely slept on. Its not bad, cheap, will probably run forever, and is a good daily driver.
Whoever owned that car definitely misses it. I have a white 17 si coupe too & I love it. I always think about trading it in down the line for a Type R. But i kinda wanna keep it since its the last coupe.
They are nice, and someday eventaully ill move on to one... maybe. But im 8th-9th gen for life. You just cant get the same experience in anything like an 8th/9th gen civic.
I seen someone on the road with this same model civic yesterday, you could tell it was tuned out quite a bit and the guy driving it was having one hell of a time blasting down the road lol. The 10th Gen 2 door civic doesn’t look bad to me.
Actually would kill to get the driver side rocker panels off this car and maybe it's rear bumper I'm definitely in need of these parts.

I remember being around five and all I wanted was a Honda ex or a si and in my opinion till this days both choices are a good bang for your buck

they are definitely one of the best body styles but modifying the car doesn’t do much with the engine it came with. i wish they put the type r engine in the 2 door, it would have been so much better. just a tune and a few small things you can easily make 500hp with the 2.0. $4,000 with the 1.5 you’re really only making like 300-350hp
I’d check for undercarriage damage. Sometimes people run over something and damage the oil pan/engine. Body can be clean but mechanically screwed.
Still looking for the 9th gen si with that funky bright orange color. I just cant get myself driving a 1.5

I like this si as it's the last gen that came in a coupe. (Also last good looking si gen imo, I don't like the look of the new one.)

This is probably my most desired car, I think it looks really good and its still a civic so its (mostly) pretty cheap.

I had a 2017 civic si and I loved it great car.
That gen SI coupe is actually better looking than a type R with the right rims

It needs deep cleaning in more ways than one.
Problem with it, it lost the reputation in the name SI, dumb Honda company put a little l.6t something. instead of just keeping the k series on the si. They could just have put a k20 from the 8thgen maybe do a little tweak to it and call it a day. That way the type r gets a turbo and is unique for it and the SI is the SI.
My friends boyfriend has one, it's a very nice car and been reliable to him. He has it has his daily and 200 horsepower in it goes a long way
I honestly like the civic si of this gen civic over the type r. The styling is less overaggressive and I really do appreciate the 2 door model i stead of a 4 foor one.
Honestly I think this generation of Civic has aged really well, it was very ahead of the curve in terms of design when it released but it fits right into the current car market. The new Civic is a downgrade

Honda messed up with transition period of this model to the next. This would’ve been a perfect integra candidate however they discontinued the chassis too early.
That’s a very cool car probably very fun to drive and gets great gas mileage at the same time.
As someone who owns an FK8 Type R, this is sad.

Love the 10th gem coupe SI’s, got an 11th gen myself but sadly they stopped making coupes for the civic and accord lineup
check the obd2 port for a Ktuner modual... you can also check if its tuned by turning it on... pushing clutch in and pushing the Cancel button.. if it jumps to an rpm (launch control) then you know its tuned... or hold cancel for 3 seconds for map selection

@@smuffinman it's just an SI not a type R. We never got the type r until very recently. So when I see these less than seller Honda's with type r badges it drives me insane. And I kind of blame Honda too. They could have like a whole thing where you just pay up front for the badges. I've seen Honda odysseys with the type r badge. It drives me bananas.
@@BestAnswer12549 I don't think red honda badging is exclusive to Type R's. SI's can run them too but those are the only two that should ever have them

The Si is ok - solid daily driver but if you want performance/power just buy a Type R and modify that. The end result is well worth the money invested.

the FK8 Type R styling is a bit much on the fake vents for me but I like how the 10th gen Si's look for sure. guessing this one went for a lot given the condition

These SI’s come with the K20C2, but the accords of this generation have the turbo K20C2 from the Type R, but they only came in auto

Looks like a pretty nice car. I think a lot of that carbon fiber is stock for the SI. My 2013 has it all over the interior and it’s kind of a base model SI

I have a tenth gen civic hatch sport rn. Basically an si with 20 less hp because it has a similar 1.5 turbo 😂. Unfortunately I got stuck with the cvt but I’ve learned to appreciate it over time and once it’s paid off and I’m outta college….MANUAL SWAP TIME😂
Manual swap on these chassis is not worth it. Just dont mod it and sell it when paid off or trade up for a manual.
@@solaryellowis3007 hey dude, yeah I thought about trading up at first once the lease is over but I plan to keep it once the three years are up. Now that I finally have some minor experience with project cars after my first civic and Passat, I feel determined to turn my civic into a street legal TCR race car. As unrealistic and costly as that sounds but that is the plan over the coming years 😅 Plus I’m the first owner and I’ve kinda gotten attached to it, more than I ever did with my first car lol. And I’ve seen how dumb it it’s to trans swap these tenth gens and it’s pretty expensive but I’m determined if I’m keeping it. Plus I don’t want a full stick shift, just a sequential since I have one lying around in the shop that could in theory fit in nicely with a b series
Buy it, get it professionally detailed in and out and enjoy it.
