🔥 What exactly is CIWG Quota
CIWG is a category under the DASA scheme, which was launched by the Ministry of Human Resource Development of India for the children of Indian expatriates (NRIs/OCIs/PIOs) in Gulf countries who want to study at top engineering colleges such as NITs and IIITs.
🔥 What are the benefits of CIWG Quota
The DASA scheme has two major advantages for CIWG: 1) All colleges have reserved seats for CIWG candidates, and 2) CIWG candidates must pay the same college fees as Indian students.
🔥 Number of seats available for CIWG in the DASA Scheme
5 percent of supernumerary seats (within DASA's 15 percent supernumerary quota) are set aside for the CIWG group, i.e. 1/3 of DASA's quota is set aside for CIWG. The following is a list of CIWG, non-CIWG, and total seats in different Institutes: Seats in the CIWG Quota
