    I wore the Whoop for about a year and it’s now in a drawer. I just live so healthy these days that I was hitting a high recovery score every day and it just wasn’t helpful anymore. And it found I had to wear it so tight that it was leaving a mark on my wrist that was uncomfortable.

    I'm currently on the trial 24 days in and im not sure if i should keep it or not. It's kind of weird, when i feel like i had a really bad sleep, like woke up a lot during the night, whoop always give me a good recovery score in the 90's. When i feel like i slept good and feel recovered whoop give me a recovery score in the 40's. So it just feels off idk why

    Nobody has an issue w/ the continuous annual subscriptions and price!? What’s the best option that’s a onetime fee, if any?

      I have health issues that can be debilitating. Being being able to track these things so I can live a better quality of life is worth the cost. I used to spend $40/month on Starbucks - I cut that out and can afford the monthly option - even though that is a bit more expensive. So, no. For me the cost is worth it.

    I'm eight months in with Whoop and like it for many of the same reasons you do. But I am struggling with the reliability of the device itself. It simply stops recording data at random times. Whoop support has been responsive but hasn't solved the problem after several attempts. I may ultimately have to switch to Oura or another solution. 🤷‍♂️

    I think everyone is confused about the strain, I think it's only cardio strain and not body strain. Weights won't impact cardio strain.

      The fact that you believe that counting steps is actually meaningful shows how mis-informed you are.
      Not every step is equal. 10,000 steps achieved by running is vastly different than 10,000 steps achieved while “working” around the house.

    Why would you choose this over an apple watch running Athlytic ?

    • @ConnectTheWatts
      @ConnectTheWatts  8 месяцев назад

      The main reason is that Athlytic requires a manual morning reading everyday to be accurate since Apple will not give reliable overnight HRV data.

    • @TorbenSauer

      @@ConnectTheWatts Depence on the Apple Watch settings, plenty of RUclips videos with instructions how to change the settings (takes a minute and free)

    • @Gufolicious
      @Gufolicious 8 месяцев назад

      @@ConnectTheWattsi consider this as positive since the reading in the morning is by far the most accurate according to multiple sources and also the exact reasons you mentioned. Same goes with RHR it is way better to take 1 reading in the morning after waking up. Whoop is equally bad and the hr data is so far off lots of times.

    for people wanting to track their steps your iphone does it for you

  • @92life
    @92life 9 месяцев назад +2

    Whoop should allow their software to work with Apple Watch because the software is great. Hardware is redundant

    • @ConnectTheWatts
      @ConnectTheWatts  9 месяцев назад +4

      There's an app called Athlytic that is a little similar, and another called HRV4Training that I really like (and that one doesn't even need a watch since the iPhone is capable of getting accurate HRV readings by holding your finger up to the camera). But one issue is that the Apple Watch doesn't track continuous HRV data at night - it's actually the only sports watch that I've seen that doesn't - So with Apple Watch, to get accurate HRV you need to do a manual reading via the Breathing App in the morning.

    Don’t buy from this company. I bought a device a month ago now and still haven’t been given anything. And their customer support is just ignoring me.
