Yeah if only it was really like this, maybe in Japan they will service your bike properly. In Europe the average mechanic just wants to finish his shift and go home to drink. That's why I service my own bikes.
The factory does an amazing job producing great machines, the dealers and authorised mechanics on the other hand should have lost their licence for scamming people.

A good, careful mechanic is GOLD. Unfortunately, I have to work on my bike, too.
Never had any issue with an authorized dealership of a Japanese motorcycle brand (mostly Kawasaki). European on the other hand, very much a mixed bag.
