Pretty sure the label on the swingarm actually state that you need to check chain slack while the the motorcycle is on its side-stand. The chain lubing intervals seems right but that seems like a LOT of grease that is being applied. It's going to get a lot of dust adhering to it creating more grime, not to mention it's gonna spatter everywhere. Most mechanics (Kawasaki inc) I've talked to recommend not over-oiling/greasing the chain. Some have told me to just grease the inner portion and let centrifugal force do it's thing
I think it is time to reshoot the video. All Kawasaki manuals says to check on the side stand. And just worked on and checked the ZH2 manual for this specially after seeing. I even started to think that for 20years been reading manuals end read it wrong! I.E. Yamaha on certain models says to check in center stand.
Better late than never for you guys to start making these maintenance videos 😂🙌🏽

Chain slack has to be mesured and adjusted with rear wheel lifted up?
Yes, precisely as you're not supposed to do it
Nice!
That music though.
Me watching, waiting to get to 18 and get mine😔
If the gearbox wasn't so sloppy they wouldn't over tighten the chain.
