I love the designs! A design feature I miss from the official legendary beasts is the inclusion of colors not present on the eeveelution. Like Suicune's purple, Entei's brown and black, and Raikou's purple and light blue.

As for a portal to the Fairy realm, Ireland has numerous stories of gates that open and close based on various factors, mostly in relation to the cycles and phases of the moon.

Also, in accordance with the In-Game Descriptions of the Auspicious & Malicious Armors, the other Armors should similarly be described as bearing contents described with the respective Armor's name ("Auspicious wishes" for the Auspicious Armor & "Malicious will" for the Malicious Armor) (03) Armor Materials: At the Zapapico town center, there is a man (Scarlet) / woman (Violet) who will trade the player Auspicious Armor (Scarlet) / Malicious Armor (Violet) in exchange for 10 Bronzor Fragments (Scarlet) / Sinistea Chips (Violet). Nice video. These look sick. I know they say Suicune is a leopard but by the look of its build and none retractable claws it actually looks more like a cheetah.
I can see cheetah mixed with wolf but that's just me because wolves are my favourite animal and I've always thought of Suicune as a wolf or wolf mix. I prefer the cheetah aspect over leopard though as I really like cheetahs too.
anjo is my absolute favourite out of all of these, simply because im a sucker for jaguars, and i Love the myth surrounding tezcatlipoca, and other ways mesoamerican people at the time worshipped and revered them. so youve got my gratitude for incorporating that info into its design! however, ive got one small criticism; the picture you used at 10:34 shows a leopard, not a jaguar ToT
I named my first Umbreon that I evolved in Pokemon Go "Tezca" as a shortened version of Tezcatlipoca so I think it's cool that you also used Tezcatlipoca as inspiration for your Dark-type legendary beast.
I'm just a little miffed that Kenzu looks like a generic big cat with it's stronger legs and massive chest cage with no concave belly/flank, instead of leaning more into the lithe, elongated cheetah look, even if that meant making a bit more similar to suicune
Yoo I had a similar idea not to long ago but the trio was a bit different where Sylveon's legendary beast was a griffin horns resembling that Xerneas, Espeon's legendary beast has a third, fully working eye and Umbreon's legendary beast has a scorpion tail that has a more potent venom Umbreon is said to have.
What an awesome video to end the year!!💥 Fantastic idea considering I don't buy the fan theory of the Beasts being reincarnated Eeveelutions lol But gosh how I need Shinno to be real!!💚💚💚💚💚 I absolutely *love it.* From its design, to its name, and the whole inspiration behind this impressive fakemon. It's a 10/10 from me and definitely my favorite of this bunch of legendaries. I'm not a Sylveon fan but Mashu came out excellent👏 I kind of lost interest in Espeon and Umbreon to be honest, but Kenzu and Anjo are amazing. Specially Anjo who has a killer design😎 Glaceon is one of my favorite Eeveelutions (I plan on getting one next time I play Pokemon Platinum) and Hyougi is just beautiful. I specially love the snow-like fur that continues as the tail. Sorry Iji doesn't convince me. It looks like a monochrome mini-Entei with a crown and rainbow collar😅 The ability of gaining all the types is dope and fitting though. Happy 2024 everyone!!
Not really. Paradoxes are heavily hinted to not actually be from the past or future, they're created by the "time machine" or something..as the legendary beasts were supposedly reincarnated by ho-oh, which wouldn't make sense if there were dinosaur past forms

i have a theory. So i think ho oh chooses three pokemons every idk maybe 1000 years and make them the legendary beasts and that means that walking wake and the other two dinos are not related to the present day ones

Mashu - The New beggining. Represents the new life that was given to RaiEnsui Shinno - Represents the Forest around the Tower, That keeps the air clean. Hyouhi - Represents the Cold Night after the Tragedy Kenzu - Represents the Soul of them being transferred or being modified Anjo - Represents the Moon that gave Light on that Night. Fun Fact: Cheetahs aren't big cats! Cheetahs are in their own separate genus, and they don't possess some of the attributes that big cats have, like the ability to roar. I mean there are only 7 big cats, 4 of which are leopards, and three of which were already taken, so yeah getting creative with some of these cat choices was really fun to see.
Same with clouded leopards. They aren't technically big cats either (as their genus is Neofilis and not Panthera). Though, I adore the design that was based on them. Edit: And I didn't watch far enough before watching. Whoops. ^^'
Kenzu being a Psychic type cheetah actually has a lot of symbolism. They are sometimes seen as symbols of divine guidance, which is perfect for a Psychic type.
Snow leopards are more closely related to tigers than they are to leopards! :D There also aren't many "big cats", being jaguars, lions, tigers, snow leopards, and leopards, so there's probably gonna be some repeats! Happy new year and love the new mascot guy!!!!

Caracal's depending on what you go by aren't big cats, some say they are some say they aren't. I personally think that Big Cats are the cats that roar, so Lions, Tigers, Leopards & Jaguars. So stuff like Caracal's, Snow Leopard's, Cougars & Clouded Leopards are small cats. Also it's not really that Clouded Leopards are different, they just aren't leopard (Same with Snow Leopards). Leopards are Panthera Pardus, Snow Leopards are Panthera Uncia & Clouded Leopards are Neofelis Nebulosa (They're not even in the same genus. Also Snow Leopards are more like Tigers than Snow Leopards). Also the Egyptian Lady this Espeon is based on also being the daughter of a bird is kinda like Ho-oh making the Legendary Beasts.

I dont get why people gloss over the fact that the designer said he wanted a blend of silhouette of cats and dogs. Suicune got leopard spots, but his actual silhouette is closer to a hound. Entei gives a lion and mastiff mix. Raikou is the only one I think is pure cat.
the Iji is so good. especially with the "great child" annotation. it reminds me of the German word "wünderkind" which is literally "wonder child", as in they are just so gifted and talented, etc. really cool coincidence!

Actually, the clouded leopard isn't a pantherine cat. So Shinno is perfectly fine being a clouded leopard.

I dont get why people gloss over the fact that the designer said he wanted a blend of silhouette of cats and dogs. Suicune got leopard spots, but his actual silhouette is closer to a hound. Entei gives a lion and mastiff mix. Raikou is the only one I think is pure cat.
the Iji is so good. especially with the "great child" annotation. it reminds me of the German word "wünderkind" which is literally "wonder child", as in they are just so gifted and talented, etc. really cool coincidence!
