Well, even if Eevee no longer strictly requires the help of the mossy rock to help it evolve into Leafeon, the Grass/Rock typing for Mega Leafeon still works nicely since from Gen 8 onwards you can now evolve Eevee into Leafeon by exposing it to a Leaf Stone. Which as we know is the evolution stone that's exclusively used to evolve certain Grass type Pokemon.
I actually like how all of the mega eeveelutions have the ability to turn normal type moves into a different type. It’s like they’re completely beyond being the normal and average Eevee

As an Umbreon lover.. I kinda feel like the Umbreon evo was a lil odd. I would have expected something to boost it's defensive capabilities like steel or rock The abilities felt a lil lazy though. Other than that, they were pretty cool!

I could see you giving multiple rock and ground moves to leafeon. I feel like grass types in general could use some edge-quake coverage since many grass types are uh...kind of weak.
I personally think the abilities make totally sense, because the eeveelution might still inherit the unstable DNA of the (Normal type) Eevee, which gives them the ability to transform normal type attacks into ones of a different type. 👍
The sheer beauty of these absolutely blew me away. I think my favorite would be Leafeon though. It invokes something of a nature spirit vibe that really suits it
i feel like flareon shouldve been flying type and floating on its big fluffy mane like a cloud, also the jagged edges on jolteon would make it easy to turn into a cool dragon type
Honestly, I don’t really like Leafeon’s mega evelution. Leafeon’s signature aspect is that it’s tail is so sharper than a sword made by a master crafter, and with the mega evelution it kind of the takes that whole aspect away.
I have an idea for a video. For years I've been wondering why there have only been four abilities that boost a certain move type as a final effort. So what if other types had an ability that helps them when their health is in the red. (And no, I'm not including Guts in this category since that is when a fighting type is inflicted by a status condition. Not when against the ropes.)

My top 3 would definetly have to be Mega Flareon, Mega Leafeon, and Mega Espeon. But they're all so wonderfully designed that I can't dislike any of them. Plus it's nice to see my favorite eeveelution, Flareon, become a combination of 2 of my favorite types.
I'm just waiting for the 'What if there was a Charcadet evo of every type' video. I made my own fakemon, which was an orange evo Fire/Steel type, where it's actually based on Samus, and uses laser blasters as it's weapon.
Ok, most of them are really well designed. Personally, i like Jolteon the most because its baseform was always something i didn't quite like. Second would be Vaporeon and the third would be Glaceon. Because the concept of the tail and hair becoming this supporting sliders makes so much sense. It could use them bot only for the natural habitat but also if it freezes a battlefield so it can glide easaly while the opponent potentially has a difficult time to keep themself on their feet.

The only unfortunate thing is that there are no Mega Eevee's, cuz the series has clearly been wanting to give base Eevee some love as well (mainly with the exclusive move and the Z-Move in Ultra Sun/Moon).

with eevee and its evolutions covering 9 of the 18 types I'd rather see them make a convergent form of eevee instead of giving it new evolutions and its base form would be flying cause it feels the most normal of the remaining types and having wings could fit some of them like dragon, bug, ghost and steel

This is the first time i see this kind of drawing about eeveelutions that seem actually right- the others i saw from other ppl were just too less details or too much details with too much stuff in one simple drawing because when you think of it the eeveelutions when evolving just change color, furr, tail and ears-
