As a UofT transfer student I do have to say UofTs Acorn is so much more simple and easy to use I had a really hard time transitioning to the mess that is RAMMS starting from my browser not being supported, to having to click off "allow popups", to navigating to so many different pages just to do one simple task that is enrolling in a course. I hope they fix this this in the future as it is super confusing to me still and I am in 2nd year let alone 1st years.
Thank you for your feedback. Please note you can visit RAMSS Support online for tutorials on how to navigate this issue: www.ryerson.ca/RAMSSsupport/tutorials/
I guess im asking randomly but does anyone know of a tool to get back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly forgot my password. I would appreciate any tricks you can offer me!
I'm taking Nutrition so I need to take only one liberal course. During the day of schedule changes, do I need to choose more than one liberal course just in case I don't enrol in one of them? Also, If I'm able to enrol in all of them, do I just drop the rest of the courses and keep one?
No need for that! If the course is open and has space, you will be enrolled. Although if you'd like to take more than one liberal course, feel free to do so!
It depends on the program, but generally for liberal courses you are able to choose. It's best to see what populates, and cross-reference it with the calendar for your program if you're unsure.
Hi there, we understand that it can be frustrating when courses aren't offered at ideal times. There are several factors that can influence how often a course runs: offerings are based on room availability across campus, and are also influenced by staff schedules and the amount of seats available in a course. It's possible for some courses but not all. Please let us know if you have any further questions, and all the best!
So when selecting courses for the 2018-19 year, are we only enrolling in courses for this first semester or are we setting up and enrolling for both one time?
Hi, is it allowed to swap a required course with a liberal course? For example, I want to swap a computer science course that I have already been enrolled in with a history course I just chose from the table A group. Is that allowed?
when swaping lecture time do I have to enter anything in enter class nbr? the tutorial didn't put anything there but they were switching class. If I were to swap lecture time do I follow the tutorial or am I suppose to enter in the enter class nbr (this was left blank when swaping class in the tutorial)
So on the day of the specified enrolment I only press enrol in the courses that aren't mandatory like my electives? or do I have to do something for the ones that I've already been enrolled in?
If I am required 2 Lower level liberal studies courses for the 1st and 2nd semester, do I have an option to do 1 course each semester or do I have to finish both courses within a single semester and do I get to choose which semester?
If 2 courses is the requirement for the full school year, you can choose which semester to do them! You can do both in one semester, or split them up, depending on what you prefer!
If you are wanting to change a time slot for the same class, and the one you want to switch into has the blue square meaning it is full. Is there any chance of switching it?
Once enrolment opens, students drop and swap classes meaning that there is a chance a spot may open up! Be diligent on enrolment day and refresh/check back often to see if a space frees up! ^KK
Keep checking back to see if a spot opens up or if you can get on the wait list! Students are changing their schedules quite a bit so it's worth checking back often to see.
I'm also taking media production entering the first year, I was wondering how do we change the timings for one laboratory classes? Do we use the swapping feature as well?
If a class is at the same time as another class, try to look for a different section of the same course by searching the course code in RAMSS or VSB. Some courses unfortunately only have so many time slots so you may need to take the course in another semester. Please make sure you are following your Undergraduate Calendar and stick to your required courses by semester to ensure you are on track for graduation!

Hello!
How can I get Letter of Enrolmemt (LOE) after being enrolled?
I'm taking Nutrition so I need to take only one liberal course. During the day of schedule changes, do I need to choose more than one liberal course just in case I don't enrol in one of them? Also, If I'm able to enrol in all of them, do I just drop the rest of the courses and keep one?

Wait, so I don't actually make a schedule for my courses? Everything is already planned out for me??
It depends on the program, but generally for liberal courses you are able to choose. It's best to see what populates, and cross-reference it with the calendar for your program if you're unsure.
So my mandatory courses (for the bio program) are fixated on a specific time slot on specific days that I cannot change?
Yes essentially!
WhyRyerson how's that any good lol why can't I edit according to my preference?! Certain classes should be offered on other time slots.

it shows that I am enrolled, checkmarks on all my subjects and it's not august 8 yet. How can I reset everything, and start over again?
You can drop/swap/add courses once your enrolment begins!
So when selecting courses for the 2018-19 year, are we only enrolling in courses for this first semester or are we setting up and enrolling for both one time?
You only need to select courses for the upcoming semester.

Hi, how can I change the time of a class ? Thanks
When you are enrolling into classes (or doing course intentions), the available time slots will be listed for each course.

If you're already enrolled, there's no need to do anything! It is only necessary to enrol into courses that are not already a part of your schedule.

If there is another time and space available for that class, then yes! Though there is no guarantee that you will be able to switch.
Hi there! what if I have courses that are during the same time as other classes? Can I change that?
As well as what if all the courses I'm required to take aren't in my calendar, will it be in my next semester?
