    John Travolta was so good looking I don’t know how to describe him. He had it all. He’s still a gorgeous man. He was a man of the times in Saturday Night Fever. Beautiful man.

    Best movie award, I had to see it. I put my hand over my daughter's eyes during the steamy parts! The audience we adorable,! Because she screamed ", Mommy I can't see!"
    They all laughed so hard❤❤. Then I removed my hands when it was safe for her to see.
    Real People who loved your movie and didn't mind the Little Girl being there. God bless them all and especially You and the crew!❤❤❤❤❤.

      I didn't see SNF at the theatre (I would've only been 1 yr old lol) but I saw it when I was around 10 yrs old and my parents rented it. I remember my Mom covering my eyes as best she could during the attempted r*pe and r*pe scenes, although she ended up just turning it off when 2nd guy was about to start. Maybe it's because of my age when I saw it but those scenes are all I really remember about the movie. Since so many people seem to love SNF and I only saw it that one time, I'm thinking of watching it again so my opinion of it isn't based solely on the 2 darkest scenes.

      Why would you take a child to an X rated movie?

    • @dsquare3703

      I had no idea it was x rated back then. Or even r rated. We were both surprised and the tickets were purchased at the theater. So had! Been informed we never would have attended.

      @@jnnxIt wasn’t X-rated. It wasn’t even R-rated. There was a different, less restrictive classification system in place in those days. I believe it was classified as PG, meaning “parental guidance.” Children and youth couldn’t view PG movies on their own; they needed to have a parent with them. My mom took me to see it. I was 8 years old at the time. It’s surprising, because my mom was very respectable and responsible, a mild-mannered librarian, but children weren’t as sheltered in those days. It was a different time.

      @jnnx You're full of it.
      Have you ever heard of the word "history", you know, where things and people change and evolve (not necessarily for the better)?

    Excellent movie and actor. He did really well in this movie and was very charismatic. The movie has some sad parts, some tough moments, to reflect the life of a young guy who only cared about dancing, and being with his friends. He's a guy who's used to get any girl he wanted. 😅😅But one day he falls in love with someone older who is more mature than him, who says "no" to him, and become a challenge for him. She will have a great impact in his life. That, together with some sordid situations that spiral out of hand and culminate with the death-suicide of one of his friends, Tony, then, realizes that there's more in this life than working at a local store and going out on Saturday night to the disco. In a way, he has mature and now sees there's a different path, a way out to the dead-end alley. It's the re-birth of the young man into a more mature man who can accept things the way they are and improve his life by looking beyond his circumstance and work hard for it.
