John Travolta was so good looking I don’t know how to describe him. He had it all. He’s still a gorgeous man. He was a man of the times in Saturday Night Fever. Beautiful man.
He absolutely was a stunning young man. I remember having a crush on him. Too bad he got trapped in the Scientology snare. I still respect his work but lost all respect for him as a person.

I've been crazy over this beautiful man since I was almost 12 yo!! I wrote him a letter every single week for over a year. I had every t-shirt I could find with his picture on front, Travolta firebird model car, J.T. doll, tons of posters and pics of him, etc. If they made it of him and I could find it, I had it!! Oh, yeah, I still have his records!! ❤

His dancing was unparalleled in "Saturday Night Fever. He was SO talented, not to mention how gorgeous he was. Every time I hear "Lookin' For Love", it brings me back to that wonderful time.
In the nascent phase of his career. Attractive, smart, well spoken. Excluding being in the cult he comes across as a good person. He's had horrible tragedies in his life, lost a son, his devoted wife died. I wish him well in the future.

I didn't see SNF at the theatre (I would've only been 1 yr old lol) but I saw it when I was around 10 yrs old and my parents rented it. I remember my Mom covering my eyes as best she could during the attempted r*pe and r*pe scenes, although she ended up just turning it off when 2nd guy was about to start. Maybe it's because of my age when I saw it but those scenes are all I really remember about the movie. Since so many people seem to love SNF and I only saw it that one time, I'm thinking of watching it again so my opinion of it isn't based solely on the 2 darkest scenes.

@@jnnxIt wasn’t X-rated. It wasn’t even R-rated. There was a different, less restrictive classification system in place in those days. Excellent movie and actor. He did really well in this movie and was very charismatic. The movie has some sad parts, some tough moments, to reflect the life of a young guy who only cared about dancing, and being with his friends. He's a guy who's used to get any girl he wanted. 😅😅But one day he falls in love with someone older who is more mature than him, who says "no" to him, and become a challenge for him. She will have a great impact in his life. That, together with some sordid situations that spiral out of hand and culminate with the death-suicide of one of his friends, Tony, then, realizes that there's more in this life than working at a local store and going out on Saturday night to the disco. In a way, he has mature and now sees there's a different path, a way out to the dead-end alley. It's the re-birth of the young man into a more mature man who can accept things the way they are and improve his life by looking beyond his circumstance and work hard for it.
