im shocked i thought he would want a fresh start. i respect the decision to stay and develop on a team that went deep in the playoffs.

This is a sign and trade at some point. Only way he stays a Ranger is if his performance makes a significant impact this season.

He sure is a light producer for a #2 overall pick !

As a rangers fan, we owe one more to Kakko. Laf is one year older and just broke out this year. Admittedly he does not show the same promise however who knows what the future holds. Lets see it Kid. Kakko and Chytil to the moon. Laf to the stars.

Great Video, as usual, Lego. I think that you're exactly right. I see it as, if it doesn't pan out this year, then, they can always trade, at The Trade Deadline, him for somebody that they'll need to get them The Stanley Cup.

Never saw anything in this kid's game to warrant all the attention. There is nothing that stands out other than size. His Amateur highlights mirror exactly what you see today. Carry the puck, protect it a bit and then the play just dies. Like clockwork.

This is a last chance. Low cost 1yr & we dont need him to take a Laf jump but just become a very serviceable player

I think that Washington Capitals are buying it for them self. So service will become private for them.

He is not worth trading. He is a solid 3rd line player. Getting a 4th round pick leaves a hole they have to fill.

Might be the slowest skater in the league. Cant' stay healthy, either. Total bust!

Guy is a bust, going into 6th season, did zero in the playoffs
