I have worked as a professional in the imagining field for over 20 years and in this video I offer my best advice on many of the basic challenges that affect people learning photography for the first time.
We break down choosing the right camera for you, understanding how to expose the shot correctly, the exposure triangle, ISO, Shutter speed, aperture, shooting modes, auto-focus modes and metering modes along with composition tips, the rule of thirds and many more tips and tricks to help you learn photography the right way.
As a Nikon shooter this video is quite specific to Nikon photographers, but is also very useful for photographers using other camera brands.

25:26 says about the orientation of the person within the frame, but from 11:28 to 15:23 does the opposite. lol
