Fun Fact (well it’s not actually fun, it’s heartbreaking): Miguel Cervantes (original Chicago Hamilton) actually lost his 3-year-old daughter recently. She died from severe epilepsy, in his arms! Mr. Cervantes must be very strong to, after that tragedy, not only continue to appear on stage, but to be able to keep his stuff together while performing this song. After all, there is no greater pain in the universe than losing a child. It truly is unimaginable. *sniff* Excuse me while I go cry in a corner now :'(
So i have not seen Hamilton live at all, BUT, i have the playbill for the Chicago cast that my counselor gave me a month ago. It's super special to me, and i would not trade it for the world. Thought that was a fun fact I'd share!
