    Great video, really appreciate your honesty. I have been considering purchasing it and I still may. Have you looked into getting the Echo GHD Face Stabilizer?

      Yes, I have it and it works, but just okay.

    In terms of the instability, if one were to use the stabilizer face with a rack to keep it far enough away from the rack, and then also a big strap wrapped around the rack pole and the box to keep it from moving away from the box, do you think that would be sufficient to keep in in place? Or is it just too wiggly for that?

      I think there would still be some instability depending on movement and athlete size. I will say that with just the face stabilizer it is usually “good enough” so adding a strap would likely make it a little better. I just didn’t feel comfortable using it weighing 198 lbs and doing full ROM GHRs and sit-ups

    Thanks for this! Any thoughts on the bells of steel ghd/reverse hammer ? Debating getting this one instead

      I try not to speculate on equipment I haven’t used but it appears to be decent quality. I’m typically hesitant on GHD/hyper combo units because I usually feel that they are under built though. So far the only ones I don’t feel skeptical about is from Rogue, Williams Strength, Sorinex and EliteFTS.

    You correctly identified the problem, but there is a simple solution to fix the foot rollers relative to the box - secure the box to the wall stud. With both foot rollers and box secured to studs, they are essentially fixed relative to each other. Back when Titan was selling a clone of this product, they included a bracket with the foot rollers for exactly this purpose.

      That would be a better solution for sure.

      @@TheKurtlocker After watching your video, I came across this one, and he provides a very cheap DIY solution, that according to him is even better than the bracket designed for this. ruclips.net/video/ZXVWXlBlm7E/видео.html

    Just found out about this. Seems a bit frustrating that it’s not particularly solid.

      It’s a less than ideal item. A lot of dual function items do neither function well. Others do all functions extremely well. The Echo GHD does neither well...

    Any particular brand that you would choose over this one?

    • @TheKurtlocker
      @TheKurtlocker  4 года назад +1

      I would choose almost any other unit that has the entire unit in one piece of equipment.
