- Several Dallas City Council members expressed a desire for city staff to create a connected system that will allow more people to use bicycles as a way to get around, and not just for recreation.

Yes please for the love of God, Dallas needs bike lanes. We can't build our city so that the only way to ever get around is driving. Even if bike lanes aren't used much now, it's mostly because what lanes we do have are just paint on the ground on 45mph roads, they don't connect to anything or go anywhere, and they're often very short and narrow where they do exist. Please, just give us alternatives to cars all over the city, not just over 3 streets
So frustrating that some city council members don't understand how improving bike trails isn't a major step forward in an urban metropolis!

They can do whatever, but anyone who has common sense already knows people drive too crazy to ride a bike , motorcycle or even be walking on the sidewalks near traffic.

Comments on this video are split between people who hate bikers and pro bikers. I cant really afford or want to maintain a car anymore, but im not your typical spandex boomer on a road bike. Just a poor millenial so i guess ill just get stronger and faster and build my bike better. Oh wait been doing that. Aint gonna hold my breath for this
Fix the holes on street’s first
Stop all the car thefts
And then do some about that
How about the city figures out a way to keep the hackers out,instead of wasting money on useless bike lanes!!!!!
