Too cool. I am pleased as punch they included the spell animations too. I love the original SMRPG, so it's neat to see the updated monsters do their thing.
Kinda bummed that the superboss isn't here but still, excellent work putting all the baddies and their moves in one video!

I am surprised they featured the Shy Ranger and not Culex. Still, impressive!
Two of my favorite enemies in star hill 14:46 mastadoom the skeletal elephant 15:02 sackit the blue crooks with faster legs and sharper knives
I actually like the crooks and sackits in this version because of the way they teleport like Goku and and slap you like will Smith and Chris Rock
These two enemies in particular are the perfect example of big and small

They did the same thing for the Link's Awakening remake as well.

More likely they changed the names of some enemies, bosses, and even some of the moves, skills, and items because before they had names that made no sense whatsoever. I’ve seen a move called “Drain” in the original but it was later changed to “Fire Spit” because it looked way more like a miniature fireball. And if it were a drain attack it would’ve absorbed your HP to replenish the enemy’s own. But it didn’t it was an attack that inflicts fire damage. There was even another attack with “Drain” in the name. But it’s an attack that deals heavy water damage. So that name was also changed and the attack looks more like a geyser which is way more suitable for the water damage it inflicts.
You missed all of the monsters... Can you do them all and upload it pls?
now that you mention it, they also missed terrapin, the first monster you face in the game
where did you find a mini goomba? According to what I read, it appears in the fight against the Whuhoh chest, but it didn't appear to me and I already defeated it, and it no longer spawns for me
I assume you killed the whuhoh to early
@@wintermelon947 So there is NO other way to get the Whuhoh to respawn? Not even after you beat the game?
I'm at Land's End right now and I want to fill out the entire monster list and I can't get the Monster List Agent to help write in the entry for the Mini Goombas! Does this mean I have to play the entire game ALL OVER?!
@RedSupernova64 no you just have to beat Johnny I think can't remember if you do have to to do that but that's pretty much all I remember from experience and the only thing I can really end this comment either is that I beat the game went back to sunken ship and then did the whuhoh fight
@RedSupernova64 also if that dosent work just try get the monster agent to fill it out either that or beat the game and you get the entries automatically
@@wintermelon947 I really hope the latter option works because right now, the Monster List Agent acts like you can still fight Mini Goombas somewhere in the game even after the Whuhoh fight.
