  • This is our favorite dive site in Aruba…home to schools of grunts, goatfish and lots of juveniles. It is also quite common to see turtles grazing in the mornings. Tres Trapi a very shallow dive with a lot of sea grass and a small rocky wall along the shore. Depending on air consumption divers can easily spend 90 minutes or more exploring the site.
We want to encourage more shore diving; so this video provides some guidance on where the site is, how to dive it and what you may see there. If you want to skip to or review specific topics, the section timings are as follows.

Love your videos guys, they were invaluable to us a few months ago when we went to Bonaire 😊, we are thinking about Aruba and was wondering if the dive shops work in a similar way, ie rent bottles only for the shore dives? Any help would be great

Thank you so much and we are very glad to see they were helpful. We visited Aruba just after if reopened from the pandemic and a number of shops were still closed. That said, we dove with a few including JADS, Pure Diving Aruba and Mermaid. Pure was very personable and we used them for most of our southern boat dives. We stayed up north in Noord, so we used the JADS boat for some of the northern sites. Many places rent tanks, so you won't have any issue there. Let us know how the trip was!
