I have an in-line tds meter going in and out! It’s cool cuz I’ve had my tank saturate quickly because the building water was crazy high at like 560 ppm
Currently waiting on a skid from Southeast Softwash. Their Gen 2 alumimax pro is pretty sweet. I'm getting it with a smart blend manifold, smart stream injector, adjustable ladder rack with the surface cleaner spot like yours, and an 8gpm pressure washer. I just can't wait to get started and get to making that big money lol.
@@AustinDavis24 iv been saying this for years and every time I say something people lose their minds at me. They charging 30k for a trailer with a 5 and a half and 2 twelve volts. Good grief
Could you possibly direct me to where I can find a pulley system and small skid just to mount the pump and my honda gx690? I am new to all of this but I am very interested in getting this together. Thank you
Flow pro plus for pressure washer. Batch buster valves for Softwash with the X-6 pump and I think this skid would be perfect! Still a bad ass kid overall
Austin - Awesome skid, video etc., but it seems you ended this video saying that you don't need the gas powered Honda engine and can just use the electric pump? That would be great but you need PSI to clean certain surfaces, correct?
Nice looking rig. There are many things that can be improved, which I will be providing to the pressure washing industry in the near future. I look forward to meeting this guy Brian and maybe we can do some things together. Cheers brother
Are you no longer recommending the Polk skids? Or is this new skid just an upgrade? Saving up to purchase a skid towards end of this year. Thanks for the inspiration!
@@ryanoneill5728 unreliable, never answers the phone, takes incredibly to long on builds. Never once took care of me for over a million dollars in sales I did for him.
Nice rig, but the Achilles heal of that is not having A Pro flo injector bypass. When you are 300ft away cleaning condo units, its sure nice to turn your soap on and off, and having full flow to rinse to boot.
I have a cleaning company that offers many services and I've been using an electric pressure washer or renting a 4 gpm unit for bigger jobs the past 2 years whenever someone needed that service. Thankfully now I'm about to upgrade and focus more on washing like this and I see most people say that you can start with a 4 gpm unit but I waste so much time alone setting up and all that jazz, that if you could afford a rig like this or if you were to finance a rig like this, wouldn't it just make life so much easier and faster, essentially worth the investment or financing? So I can do more per day alone and start strong? Thank you to anybody who could share their professional opinion, also if I were to get a rig like this which truck size or load capacity should I start with as I don't want a trailer?
If you have the amount of jobs to where each second counts so super efficiency is needed then yes this is the rig for you, if you have time off a lot during the day meaning not a crazy amount of jobs then just keep taking the time to setup. Maybe look into cheaper softwash setups you can keep in a small van or bed of truck. That’s what I would do until I get so much clientele that I have to come up with a solution to become more efficient
This is a nice skid. But I’ve been looking at a bunch of different brands and I think the guys at southeast softwash has a better layout and options you can get
Hey austin, dope setup! I’m currently building my setup from scratch. I’m just wondering, I have a flexzilla hose that I intended to use for soft washing. However I see you have a separate hose for soft washing and are using your flexzilla for inlet. So real quick, what is different between your softwash hose and a flexzilla/garden hose? And would you recommend I use something else for softwash and just keep the flexzilla for the water inlet to my tank? Thanks for your content!
Great skid, but I prefer mine so all the equipment is on the side rails, that way I have room for Christmas lights, safety equipment and other stuff. Also, Couldn’t you have double stacked reels for that 1 extra reel in the back? 😊
I find those details are all about preference. Preference Dosent make one skid better then the other. To me the deciding factors are the kind of equipment and how easy it is to use. Having a reel stacked or having Christmas light space is a person to person thing.
Only bad thing about that downstream injector kit is that your always pulling through the injector so you lose flow on rinsing when you kinda need it. Flowpro is by far better. May want to look into that. But overall very cool unit Austin
@@AustinDavis24 just saying if you rinse a house with that thing it just changed your 8gpm into a 6 gpm. And if you disconnect the injector when rinsing then that defeats the purpose of a remote.
Hey Austin, been watching your content and I get a lot out of it, keep it coming. Question for ya, I quoted a 3500sqft roof wash yesterday for $800 and the guy immediately accepted the offer. It’s in a very nice neighborhood and the man take a lot of pride in his home (I can tell by new paint and the landscaping) Was my quote too low how much would you have quoted thank you.
if you think about it with that price you are a little less than .25 cents a sqft from what i've been watching alot of people do like .25-.50 cents a sqft plus how difficult or how much time it would take to do the house. So it could of been alot lower then what other people are charging.
gonna need a business loan for afford one and well having bad credit wont help. i wonder if the governement is giving free loans out still. my guess is atleast 10k for just equipment and 10-15k for the build. i see they do have financing thats not bad
Why not just put it all together yourself? WAIT WHAT 20-30K?!?!?! My whole entire rig is worth that much, to pay that much for equipement I dont think you'll survive. You have to just know how to do it and understand it all or you'll be calling asking for help every second and the vendors wont help.
