So we have an new 2D Mario game, mixed with the Paper Mario chapter segment, structure, RPG elements & other stuff, an art style that looks almost identical to the Mario & Luigi games, the plot mcguffins or collectables that works like in an 3D titles; but in the Galaxy games linear & progression style , Yoshi Island/Wario Land vibes, the wackiness and it looked new & original. Yep. This is exactly what I wanted.
Truly a spectacular fangame. I can't even begin to fathom the amount of hours that went into the making of this sole world. I also love the Nitrome-esque aesthetic of the entire thing. It's unique and makes the game look great. I also also love that Yoshi captain with the Mr. Krabs accent xD

Holy mother of everything, is this fan game LEGENDARY! The sprites, the humor, the characters, the beautiful pixel looking locations, it’s all top notch! I’m really begging that Nintendo doesn’t take this down for how amazing this is. …..However the Luigi bullying is always a negative, that’s gotta stop.
This looks so amazing. The story feels like a mix of Paper Mario and Mario and Luigi. The gameplay feels like New Super Mario Bros., Super Mario 3, and a bit of 3D world and I gasped when I saw the Mario Wonder pipe animation at 15:49
i love all the lik sound effect references like the boss meter sound effect from kirby and the swarm sound from pikmin (some other pikmin stuff i heard here as well
I love the amount of pikmin references from the toad calling luigi louie and the discovery Is straight up the pikmin 3 tutorial music and when you fall in the water and lackitu pulling you up

@@ssg-eggunnerwonder is way better than this fangame, and before you say anything I played the demo. I didn’t enjoy it. Levels are overly long and overstay their welcome. The partner mechanic never does something interesting and is annoying more of the time. Yes this is impressive on a technical standpoint but the game itself isn’t. And the difficulty is way too high in the first world so that new players can’t get used to the new mechanics. The dev team fumbles at general game design philosophy
