Pretty soon you'll need to build a power station in your Lego city, to 'power' all the lights! I wonder if you couldn't fit the connector blocks inside the MILS plates to hide them away? Looks awesome though 👍🏻
Light My Bricks new system is amazing you add the lights as you build the set NO more deconstruction! Fantastic add to the city’s buildings! Be safe and well!
You should slowly replace all of the light posts in your city with the LMB 2.0 ones. They look better and light up better than normal Lego ones paired with the 1.0 kits.
They are very cool, but they are way too expensive for what they are. I can't imagine paying $200 for lighting up a $300 set. That is way beyond many of our budgets.
Holy crap. I didn't think it cost that much--but I went to their website to look. These kits were ranging from $40 (on sale) to nearly $200, depending on the set. That's insanity.
Hi Bricksie, the only lights i've used is for all the Winter Village sets that I have mounted on mills plates for a Christmas display. What I did was put the hubs under the buildings in the MILS so you could try that too to hide them from being placed behind the museum.
Oh thats pretty nice what they done. I bought the lightkit when i bought the lighthousen. So i needed to build it first, then torn it apart for installing the lights. It was a mess. Good that they did this now. Its more user friendly.
Very interesting, and this inspired me even more. In January, I ordered lights for the Home Alone set from Briksmax, and I must say I was disappointed. I struggled, just like you, with the challenge of attaching both the Lego pieces and the wires, but the worst part was that some parts were missing. Additionally, the instruction manual was faulty. So far, only the yard and the first floor are finished. But because of your video, I will now attempt version 2.0 for both Home Alone and the Time Machine. It will be exciting. Thank you!
Hi Bricksie, it's wonderful that you've begun installing lighting in your Lego City, it does make a difference. You might be interested in RUclipsr Old Bloke Builds Lego's video "adding Lights to my Lego City". The company whose lights he used is a Chinese outfit called Game of Bricks. The strobe effect of the lighting in some sections of the Lego buildings might not be to everyone's taste, but I myself found it quite fascinating!
Wow. That does look easier. I used a different company altogether for Rivendell. Im not entirely thrilled with the outcome. I think it might be worth thinking about redoing it.
This brings to mind wring up a dollshouse to light it up. It's easy, in theory, but I've always found it an intimidating prospect because I've never had much luck getting old fairy lights that blow a bulb back working. If there is a way of simplifying the process, then that's great and it's better that they have found a way to incorporate the lights while you build the museum, rather than trying to put it in at the end.
What would I need to light up a 2X10 Lego Plate with 20 flashing white LED Lights for my Model Team Size Firetruck powered by a Battery? I want the lights to connect to the inside of 20 translucent round studs. Each Stud is a different color.
So it's been months since his last 4K video. And there it is, you already know why. I wish he can bring back 4K videos like this. It looks soooooo much better
Do the new cables are able to pass through technic plates which have holes (part 3709b) ? You could use that to feed the cables under the MILS plates? (I also use mils thats why I’m asking 😅)
I love LMB and been using for a while. Now won't build until I have the light kit as well, bit frustrating. Interested to know how you are powering? I use USB running under my MILS plates, but linking them has been fiddly and messy looking at using the wireless connectors between MILS.
It looks nice with the lights. But to me its strange that you need to have to much detail where to place the lights. You should be able to light up everything you want to light up. You don't instructions what bricks you need to use. But the result is very nice!
Wow they look cool! Love it!!! However, Not sure how sustainable their business model is by printing custom LMB bricks and passing that cost to customers?
Super cool but super expensive. The other problem i noticed is any cheaper sets i have are more thab likely sold out. There was maybe 5 light sets available for sets i actually had.

Undeniably looks great, but you're talking thousands of dollars for someone not sponsored to power a city. Plus wires and usb powerbanks everywhere...trying to find a convenient way to power everything on. Seems like a crap ton of money and work all said and done. I'll keep living vicariously through you, thanks 😅 Keep up the good work 👍🏼
I think light kits look absolutely incredible! However, with that said, I don’t light up my sets. One, it’s a lot of money to pour into something in an already expensive hobby. Two, it’s a lot of work to install them, especially when you have a bunch of sets. And three, I view it as all or nothing. If one of my sets is lit, the others just don’t look right. I do have a couple of sets lit, but it’s select sets that I feel stand well on their own. I do really love the look but just don’t think it’s worth the time, effort, and money, especially since they have the potential of needing to be replaced in the future. Butttttt…your city would look incredible lit up!

Looks good but the light kits are just too expensive. Lego sets are not getting any cheaper and if on the top of that with light kits some more? Yikes...

You do realize he literally uploads a video everyday, right? The level of effort that requires is insane. Expect a few filler videos from time to time... especially when he is up front about having family in town in the past several videos. You can always ask for your money back if you're unsatisfied...... 🙃
what you call his 'filler" videos is ,for a lot of lego youtubers, the main content. If you are not happy, you have a lot of other stuff to watch on youtube daily.

Pretty soon you'll need to build a power station in your Lego city, to 'power' all the lights! I wonder if you couldn't fit the connector blocks inside the MILS plates to hide them away? Looks awesome though 👍🏻
The wires running on the floor and on the wall feels realistic so its not like they even stand out in the build
They really knocked it out the park with the new 2.0 system. 👍
Light My Bricks new system is amazing you add the lights as you build the set NO more deconstruction! Fantastic add to the city’s buildings! Be safe and well!
You light my day with your praise! 🤩
You should slowly replace all of the light posts in your city with the LMB 2.0 ones. They look better and light up better than normal Lego ones paired with the 1.0 kits.
You convinced me, I'm going to light my city once it's finished!💡
oh wow, that baseplate wiring with tiles on top goes without drilling, that's nice

Agree. I bought the lighthouse for 200 instead of 300 and i orderd the lightkit for it. Otherwise its a no no 😅
$102 with his discount code (regular $120), but your point remains.
insane prices, way to high.
Yeah, nobody needs a fake lego piece branded LMB to hold cable down…cut price instead
I love how the light enhances the mood of the buildings
A usseful idea for the 1.0 light sets would be to you them to light up the canal and/or the boardwalk areas
I love the lights, the city will look so awesome when you have all of it lit up. Enjoying how the city is coming along 😀
This is the video I've been waiting for! I have the museum, haven't built it yet- I'll go ahead and order the light kit- thanks!!!
Light up the palace cinema next, it has dancing lights on the sign. You will absolutely love it!!!
I remember you hinting at this video a week or so ago so I’ve been keeping an eye (or two) out for it.
Wow, Light My Bricks and Bricksie are a great combination! Beautiful lighting!
A perfect light-up combo! 😎
This is so awesome cannot wait to see the city light up to see more interior details. This is so neat I want to buy thos keep it up bricksie
Can't wait to see you do the street lights and signs.Lights in the moving trains too!

Hi Bricksie, the only lights i've used is for all the Winter Village sets that I have mounted on mills plates for a Christmas display. What I did was put the hubs under the buildings in the MILS so you could try that too to hide them from being placed behind the museum.
You could potentially hide the stuff in the back in the MILS plate. The 2.0 lights do look significantly better!
The lights look awesome and really make it pop!! Great job 👍🏻 the city just keeps getting better and better!
Man... Been waiting to see the lights on your city for a very long time!
just awesome
Lighting kits are awesome I cannot wait to do it in my collection.
The light really makes things perk up and look more Lego City "Pro"
I can't think of a better word for it.
Simply WOW!!😱😱😱😱😱😱 Next level lighting kit for LEGO😎👍👏👏👏🔥🔥
Nice city man
Yay for 4k! thanks
Hi Jordan, you should hide lights connectors inside your mils baseplates 😉
Woo-hoo! 🎉 Jordan you are doing such a sick job with everything 😊 amazing 👏
Once I started lighting up my city and MOCs I won’t do anything else without them. It just makes them so much better.
Oh thats pretty nice what they done. I bought the lightkit when i bought the lighthousen. So i needed to build it first, then torn it apart for installing the lights. It was a mess.
Good that they did this now. Its more user friendly.

Glad they came out with this I am ordering it the other light kit is a nightmare for me . Fingers crossed 🤞 this is my winner 🥇 Great video .
You need to put them on a smart plug. I have it now where I say, “hey Google light up the city.” And the city lights up

Blinky Bricks out of Maryland is my go-to for lighting.
I wonder of you could light the water in a way that look it's shimmering
I think less is more with lighting kits. Focus on subtle shades like the blues under the outside statues and use it sparingly throughout the city
Imagine if you could shrink to the size of a minifigure and go into a city with lights
I've used game of bricks kits on my vehicles. look amazing!

Will you be looking at multi-USB hubs that can attach beneath the tables so you dont have to have x amount of USB power adaptors?
Hey Bricksie !
This looks sick !
A shame the 2.0 streetlight doesn't work 🥲
Anyway, super excited to see a further lightning development !
Looks good, but will the lego become sundamaged or yellowed?
light my bricks box thay look amazing on your museum set 🍕

I’ve had lighting kits for years and haven’t taken the plunge yet
Think I’m gonna stop procrastinating tomorrow
That looks really good! Question: could you hide the expansion boards in the mills plate? Or would that not work?
Make a train jor moc train I love jor video ❤ team make train 👇
Why not put the expansion boards under the mills plate?

The price point is wild, though. Paying half or more of the set price for a little lighting. Can't see too many people shelling out for these.

Light my bricks are way too expansive! Other brands are much cheaper for the same experience
LMB is definitely too expensive. Lighttailing/Briksmax or Game of Bricks are definitely more reasonable.
