Suddenly get traffic during riding and your speed is less than 15 kmph then there is on need to come in 1st gear from 2nd or a loove gear about 2nd gear, so the ideal speed of 2nd gear is 15 -30 kmph. If you ride in such speed at 2nd gear then the will be god. The 3rd gear speed range in 30-40 kmph. The speed range of 4th gear is 40-50/55 kmph. If you are seeing this speed in your speedometer then you should ride at 4th gear. If you ride according to your gear ratio then it will generate good power. At that time whatever the accelerator you are taking the vehicle will not move fast. So you have to keep this in mind that we should always ride our vehicle according to speed ranges gear ratio. The experience I'd like to share helped me understand why riding gear is so important when riding, whether you're riding around town or on the highway. I was about 17 and at that age, I was passionate about riding bikes and it was also a time when I didn't even wear a helmet while driving as I felt uncomfortable so my very close friend continued riding the Pulsar 180 in 2015 and 2016. This was a time when the pulsar was very popular. It was winter season and our exams had a month to go, one night around 7 that friend of mine told his parents that he is coming to my place to collect some notes for exams and he, as usual, he was coming through his bike to my place which used to take around 20 - 25 min, however that day I waited for him for about 1 hr but he didn't come and his phone was also not reachable suddenly his mom called me asking about him and I said that he hasn't come till now suddenly I got a call from the unknown number when I picked the call the person from another end the person that there is been an accident and the guy is dead at the spot and he got my number from that guy's phone as this was the last dialed number and I was kind of numb for a couple of minutes. I wasn't able to understand what he just spoke, I still remember that he was saying that is somebody there bcoz he didn't hear anything back from me. Then I asked him where my friend has been taken to. I informed my parents and his parents and when we reached over there I still remember his parents face and the way they were crying when the doc said that when the accident happened his head hit the street and at the same, the brain got damaged and due to excessive blood loss even they were not able to do anything and I was not able to digest this thing for a couple of days that Abhinav is longer there. I remember his mom coming to my home after a week and asking me to make a promise that whenever I would ride and she wanted me to keep riding for him bcoz it was the thing which was closer to both of us but I would wear the helmet and the necessary gears bcoz he was the only child and now I was their son to them too bcoz I kind of stopped riding and I was even not going out of my home which actually made my parents worried too bcoz he was my childhood friend. The day accident happened and I saw her mom breaking completely I realized that how important safety is not just for us but for the people who love us soo hard and losing another son or anyone losing their son is like they dead even when they are alive bcoz for every parent their child is everything. Even my mom won't be able to bear that, we were and are brothers though he is no longer with us he is still there in our hearts that is one of the reasons that I started my riding again but now I make sure that ride with gears on. Also, if I see anyone especially of that age small I request him to at least wear a helmet when he is riding a bike nit for him but his parents. No Matter if I get the giveaway or not, I'm just sharing this for people who might read this and understand is why to wear safety gear while riding bcoz I don't want any other mother losing their son. At least if they don't wear it for themselves but wear it for their loved ones bcoz it is very much painful to lose someone like this who is very much close to their heart. I was hanging out at a well known motorcycle gear store in meerut and was surprised at the amount of convincing people needed to purchase basic riding gear, let alone upgrade their existing gear. The most common excuse I heard was either "I don't ride that fast" or "It will never happen to me". I've decided to list out the last 5 accidents I have had, if you still feel you don't need motorcycle gear, I respect your opinion but I may not have the time to visit you at the hospital. 1) Speed: 40-50kmph- Girl and mother jump over a 5 ft barricade, lady lands in front of my motorcycle and the girl on my handle bar. Damage: Minor sprain in wrist, no visible damage on gear , lever on handle bar broke off . No visible bruising or fractures. 2) Speed: 70-75kmph - Car sideswipes to avoid pothole, handle bar goes through the car window, I get thrown off the bike and go head first into an electric pole. Damage: Minor bruising, hyper extended ligament in left shoulder, helmet is destroyed, jacket ripped in arm area. Motorcycle had extensive damage to the right side. No fractures 3) Speed 60-65kmph- state transport bus ran a red signal at an intersection and slammed into the motorcycle, taking out 3 other motorists and a car. Damage: Motorcycle was totaled, textile jacket took a majority of the brunt, didn't rip was but more or less unusable due to friction burns on the fabric, helmet took a major hit, boots and gloves had scruff marks. extensive bruising, no open wounds, severely sprained right shoulder and neck, hyperextended ligaments in ankle and left knee. No fractures 4) Speed 0kmph- Run over by a SUV while waiting at a red signal, pinned under the vehicle and dragged for 20ft. Damage: Textile jacket was destroyed, helmet was deemed unusable.Rear end of motorcycle was destroyed. Sprained shoulder and back, no bruising, friction burn on left arm and hip, no open wounds or fractures. 5) Speed 0 kmph - Foot run over by sedan while waiting at a traffic signal, Damage: No damage to motorcycle or boots, slight swelling in little toe, no visible bruising or fractures. I was under the speed limit in all 5 of these instances, In 4 out of 5 of these instances I was wearing Hi-Viz jackets/gear, in 3 of these instances I was hit by traffic who claimed to have not seen me, in 2 of these instances I was stationary and in one instance I was shouted at for stopping at an amber signal. I walked away from all of these accidents with almost zero injury. A lot of it was luck but a huge part of that luck is owed to the fact that I was geared up all the time. Recently maine steelbird ka helmet liya 2000 ka, unsafe feel hota hai ab bhi kyuki delhi gurgaon highway par log bhot rash chalate hai. Suddenly get traffic during riding and your speed is less than 15 kmph then there is on need to come in 1st gear from 2nd or a loove gear about 2nd gear, so the ideal speed of 2nd gear is 15 -30 kmph. If you ride in such speed at 2nd gear then the will be god. The 3rd gear speed range in 30-40 kmph. The speed range of 4th gear is 40-50/55 kmph. If you are seeing this speed in your speedometer then you should ride at 4th gear. If you ride according to your gear ratio then it will generate good power. At that time whatever the accelerator you are taking the vehicle will not move fast. So you have to keep this in mind that we should always ride our vehicle according to speed ranges gear ratio. The experience I'd like to share helped me understand why riding gear is so important when riding, whether you're riding around town or on the highway. I was about 17 and at that age, I was passionate about riding bikes and it was also a time when I didn't even wear a helmet while driving as I felt uncomfortable so my very close friend continued riding the Pulsar 180 in 2015 and 2016. This was a time when the pulsar was very popular.
It was winter season and our exams had a month to go, one night around 7 that friend of mine told his parents that he is coming to my place to collect some notes for exams and he, as usual, he was coming through his bike to my place which used to take around 20 - 25 min, however that day I waited for him for about 1 hr but he didn't come and his phone was also not reachable suddenly his mom called me asking about him and I said that he hasn't come till now suddenly I got a call from the unknown number when I picked the call the person from another end the person that there is been an accident and the guy is dead at the spot and he got my number from that guy's phone as this was the last dialed number and I was kind of numb for a couple of minutes. I wasn't able to understand what he just spoke,
I still remember that he was saying that is somebody there bcoz he didn't hear anything back from me. Then I asked him where my friend has been taken to. I informed my parents and his parents and when we reached over there I still remember his parents face and the way they were crying when the doc said that when the accident happened his head hit the street and at the same, the brain got damaged and due to excessive blood loss even they were not able to do anything and I was not able to digest this thing for a couple of days that Abhinav is longer there.
I remember his mom coming to my home after a week and asking me to make a promise that whenever I would ride and she wanted me to keep riding for him bcoz it was the thing which was closer to both of us but I would wear the helmet and the necessary gears bcoz he was the only child and now I was their son to them too bcoz I kind of stopped riding and I was even not going out of my home which actually made my parents worried too bcoz he was my childhood friend.
The day accident happened and I saw her mom breaking completely I realized that how important safety is not just for us but for the people who love us soo hard and losing another son or anyone losing their son is like they dead even when they are alive bcoz for every parent their child is everything.
Even my mom won't be able to bear that, we were and are brothers though he is no longer with us he is still there in our hearts that is one of the reasons that I started my riding again but now I make sure that ride with gears on. Also, if I see anyone especially of that age small I request him to at least wear a helmet when he is riding a bike nit for him but his parents.
No Matter if I get the giveaway or not, I'm just sharing this for people who might read this and understand is why to wear safety gear while riding bcoz I don't want any other mother losing their son. At least if they don't wear it for themselves but wear it for their loved ones bcoz it is very much painful to lose someone like this who is very much close to their heart.

I was hanging out at a well known motorcycle gear store in meerut and was surprised at the amount of convincing people needed to purchase basic riding gear, let alone upgrade their existing gear. The most common excuse I heard was either "I don't ride that fast" or "It will never happen to me".
I've decided to list out the last 5 accidents I have had, if you still feel you don't need motorcycle gear, I respect your opinion but I may not have the time to visit you at the hospital.
1) Speed: 40-50kmph- Girl and mother jump over a 5 ft barricade, lady lands in front of my motorcycle and the girl on my handle bar.
Damage: Minor sprain in wrist, no visible damage on gear , lever on handle bar broke off . No visible bruising or fractures.
2) Speed: 70-75kmph - Car sideswipes to avoid pothole, handle bar goes through the car window, I get thrown off the bike and go head first into an electric pole.
Damage: Minor bruising, hyper extended ligament in left shoulder, helmet is destroyed, jacket ripped in arm area. Motorcycle had extensive damage to the right side. No fractures
3) Speed 60-65kmph- state transport bus ran a red signal at an intersection and slammed into the motorcycle, taking out 3 other motorists and a car.
Damage: Motorcycle was totaled, textile jacket took a majority of the brunt, didn't rip was but more or less unusable due to friction burns on the fabric, helmet took a major hit, boots and gloves had scruff marks. extensive bruising, no open wounds, severely sprained right shoulder and neck, hyperextended ligaments in ankle and left knee. No fractures
4) Speed 0kmph- Run over by a SUV while waiting at a red signal, pinned under the vehicle and dragged for 20ft.
Damage: Textile jacket was destroyed, helmet was deemed unusable.Rear end of motorcycle was destroyed. Sprained shoulder and back, no bruising, friction burn on left arm and hip, no open wounds or fractures.
5) Speed 0 kmph - Foot run over by sedan while waiting at a traffic signal,
Damage: No damage to motorcycle or boots, slight swelling in little toe, no visible bruising or fractures.
I was under the speed limit in all 5 of these instances, In 4 out of 5 of these instances I was wearing Hi-Viz jackets/gear, in 3 of these instances I was hit by traffic who claimed to have not seen me, in 2 of these instances I was stationary and in one instance I was shouted at for stopping at an amber signal.
I walked away from all of these accidents with almost zero injury. A lot of it was luck but a huge part of that luck is owed to the fact that I was geared up all the time.
