During my first play through I was so surprised to see almost everyone went with the peaceful route through the game..the violent revolution is so much more realistic
I mean, peaceful way is beautiful, has values, but is impractical. Maybe I wouldn't fight police right away, but if they started shooting, why would I stand and wait for death? Therefore, I don't fully understand this public reaction. When androids are attacked again at the end of the game, people are furious because they were peaceful. Meanwhile, here they were shot as they were beer cans, and when they decided to defend themselves, they were the bad guys.

This game made me cry multiple times and I'm a damn 30 year old man... When we broke into the android shop, I choose a modest riot. Tagging the symbol everywhere, only lighting up the benches at the end. When it came to the protest scene and Markus started converting hundreds of androids, I dropped a few tears... The music, the story... then the police came. I chose to disperse, but when they aimed at us anyway, I changed to attack. I was all "HOLY DAMN SH1T THIS IS AWESOME" the whole time and again... the soundtrack is unearthly. What bothers me is that the public opinion remained hostile, even doe they must have seen on the news that the police wanted to shoot us in the back. Best game for me in a loooooong time! :)
I don't think drones have self-thinking AI on board, fella. Someone has to be at the command hub to pull the trigger on a guided missile, let alone mark coordinates.
I love how meaningful the song is for this scene, Markus lead a peaceful protest, however against the odds they gave up on that approach, the song has that sad but epic melody that goes along with their change and release of their peaceful practice to their now violent practice, and as they continue they grow more determined and so it transitions from the sadder change from peace to the now determined fight. It's beautiful.

There was only like 1 rifle and 20 dudes with Shields. In the peaceful stuff there’s maybe 2 other rifles. So 3 rifles and 20 shields vs 200 androids that are faster than humans and don’t feel pain.
Zack Nichols riot squads are designed to quickly put down dissent and riots with brute force if necessary... if there is such a thing as androids then the police would quickly get an upgrade to deal with androids Incase of something like the video, also things like EMPs or microwave guns would put these androids down fast. To elaborate on the microwave part, it is this weapon designed to make an entire street of rioters get neutralized almost instantaneously via the means of shooting microwaves at them causing severe sickness, nausea, and migraines to the point you may pass out, however if you do this to machines with a high enough power, you can easily disrupt the circuitry and even outright kill androids depending on how the microwave is modified because such fields melt parts of circuits really easily and can mess with the overall wiring in the Android. The point is that riot squads are called riot squads for a reason, if people resort to violence then the squads are prepared to use force, may I also tell you they do have tasers which most likely would easily take down androids, also riot squads generally almost always have all their squad mates carry pistols or even shotguns, with live rounds depending on the situation and this video would be one of those situations; and since it looked like the police were willing to shoot then yes this would have been a massacre, a PR nightmare for sure but all those androids would have been literal scrap metal had the police opened up fire. Another note: androids may run faster than humans but not nearly fast enough to somehow close the gap before a shotgun blows the head of him, or a pistol shoots him in the leg which ultimately leads to him getting shot again if he persists.
with their predictive intelligence they probably could’ve predicted bullet speed velocity and all that stuff to attack in the right direction or at least not get as injured + it was like 200 androids to about maybe 20 guards? one with a gun at the ready? so idk
spyjosiah riot squads in general have way more than one person ready to fire. To simply put it, this scene should not happen. Also androids couldn’t possibly hope to dodge bullets as none of their moving parts could remotely move fast enough to fling themselves away from the salvo, strafing would have been their best bet but it’s like shooting a cheetah then, and people who are trained can easily shoot a cheetah when out in the open like the androids were. If the androids were bulletproof then maybe however riot squads would be ready for this with other weapons ie microwaves or EMPs or simply higher caliber rounds.

The police in this game are really bad. In reality all of the machines would be killed with a weapon or a kill switch. Having kill switches on all machines is law.
Normal Mexican a kill switch can be anything to, a chip that is remotely detonated in the head, completely killing the machine or a kill code that will just shut down the machine it's self.
Frost They have a kill code, Connor asks about the deviants code in the first mission of the game if you choose it. Just like their trackers disabling when they turn, they also have a way of disabling their "kill switch."

This is probable THE best sequences I've ever experienced. However, after my first playthrough with Markus and the decisions I had made, I was left asking questions about myself as a person and how they correlated with my decisions throughout the story. This experience really made me think, not to mention the beautiful soundtrack to accompany everything.

Generic white kid the second Yeah, I saw that ending, it was unrealistic as the National guard isn’t just 100 grunts. Realistically with the size of Detroit, that would’ve deployed a regiment sized force (1000+ men), and they would’ve brought the big guns too (APCs, IFVs, Heli gunships), and if they did pulled out of Detriot they would regroup and counter attacked even if the President said to pull out doesn’t mean they won’t return. Even after the toasters regroup they most likely will feel the strength of the US Armed Forces once everything gets organized, so a bombing campaign may occur and would lead to the total annihilation of Androids and a decisive US victory. God bless the armed forces and god bless America.

this scene seemed so stupid to me, its obvious that the androids have massive plot armor. Really they would have been gunned down before they got to the line
There was only like 1 rifle and 20 dudes with Shields. In the peaceful stuff there’s maybe 2 other rifles. So 3 rifles and 20 shields vs 200 androids that are faster than humans and don’t feel pain.
Zack Nichols riot squads are designed to quickly put down dissent and riots with brute force if necessary... if there is such a thing as androids then the police would quickly get an upgrade to deal with androids Incase of something like the video, also things like EMPs or microwave guns would put these androids down fast.
To elaborate on the microwave part, it is this weapon designed to make an entire street of rioters get neutralized almost instantaneously via the means of shooting microwaves at them causing severe sickness, nausea, and migraines to the point you may pass out, however if you do this to machines with a high enough power, you can easily disrupt the circuitry and even outright kill androids depending on how the microwave is modified because such fields melt parts of circuits really easily and can mess with the overall wiring in the Android.
The point is that riot squads are called riot squads for a reason, if people resort to violence then the squads are prepared to use force, may I also tell you they do have tasers which most likely would easily take down androids, also riot squads generally almost always have all their squad mates carry pistols or even shotguns, with live rounds depending on the situation and this video would be one of those situations; and since it looked like the police were willing to shoot then yes this would have been a massacre, a PR nightmare for sure but all those androids would have been literal scrap metal had the police opened up fire.
Another note: androids may run faster than humans but not nearly fast enough to somehow close the gap before a shotgun blows the head of him, or a pistol shoots him in the leg which ultimately leads to him getting shot again if he persists.
with their predictive intelligence they probably could’ve predicted bullet speed velocity and all that stuff to attack in the right direction or at least not get as injured + it was like 200 androids to about maybe 20 guards? one with a gun at the ready? so idk

spyjosiah riot squads in general have way more than one person ready to fire. To simply put it, this scene should not happen. Also androids couldn’t possibly hope to dodge bullets as none of their moving parts could remotely move fast enough to fling themselves away from the salvo, strafing would have been their best bet but it’s like shooting a cheetah then, and people who are trained can easily shoot a cheetah when out in the open like the androids were. If the androids were bulletproof then maybe however riot squads would be ready for this with other weapons ie microwaves or EMPs or simply higher caliber rounds.

Normal Mexican a kill switch can be anything to, a chip that is remotely detonated in the head, completely killing the machine or a kill code that will just shut down the machine it's self.

This is probable THE best sequences I've ever experienced. However, after my first playthrough with Markus and the decisions I had made, I was left asking questions about myself as a person and how they correlated with my decisions throughout the story.
This experience really made me think, not to mention the beautiful soundtrack to accompany everything.
I really like the idea of having cinematic scenes where the player still has to control their characters

Yeah, I saw that ending, it was unrealistic as the National guard isn’t just 100 grunts. Realistically with the size of Detroit, that would’ve deployed a regiment sized force (1000+ men), and they would’ve brought the big guns too (APCs, IFVs, Heli gunships), and if they did pulled out of Detriot they would regroup and counter attacked even if the President said to pull out doesn’t mean they won’t return.
Even after the toasters regroup they most likely will feel the strength of the US Armed Forces once everything gets organized, so a bombing campaign may occur and would lead to the total annihilation of Androids and a decisive US victory. God bless the armed forces and god bless America.
