    One thing about North Kent coasts is they often have very murky water due to being next to the Thames/Medway estuary which discharges a lot of murky river water into the sea, somewhere like Cornwall would have much clearer water most of the time.

    • @danielazziptrips
      @danielazziptrips  2 года назад +2

      Now that you mentioned, the waters in places like East Sussex and Cornwall are definitely clear and very blue, as opposed to this region, but I didn't know that this was the reason! It's quite sad since Botany Bay it's truly beautiful!

    Broadstairs and Botany Bay are some of my favorite places in England. The next time you're in Broadstairs, you should definitely stop by "The old Curiosity Shop" and enjoy a cream tea. It is only a 10-minute walk from the train station. This cafe is my absolute favorite place in Broadstairs. And as strange as it sounds now, when you are there you should definitely visit the toilet.
    😊
    Warm greetings from Germany.

      Hi there, and thank you so much for watching and subscribing, it means a lot :D! In the UK, you need to have public insurance and you need to be CAA registered (you will basically register your drone and you as a pilot, on top of doing a quick online test and pay a fee for it). But apart from that, you just need to check if the area you're going to fly has any restriction - I use "drone assist" app to check it. Botany Bay is pretty easy to fly without any trouble, as long as you abide by the drone code :D You will absolutely love it!

      I was never a big fan of Margate beach to be honest, so haven't been in ages. It does makes me sad that people don't know how to treat places, regardless of where they come from. And it's everywhere - there's plenty of people who don't value nor take care of wherever they go, they just destroy those places. I sometimes think about it and wish that there was something I can do about it but tbh, there really isn't. I won't stop sharing the places I visit because those who care about the environment and value our planet are not at fault, and shouldn't be prevented from knowing what's out there because of ignorant people who think the world will remain the same if they don't clean after themselves. But yeah... I will never understand that...
