Ex-Mazda salesman here. They're great cars in almost every regard except for the paint. No idea if 2025 processes are the same, but the 2023-2024 models had really thin paint. Especially the reds. Really easy to chip.

At 7:33, because of the high beltline and thick D pillars, the cabin is too dark and claustrophobic inside BUT with a sunroof and bright ivory colored seats and headliner, the cabin feels airy and spacious. Love it. .... now Mazda has to replace that cheap plastic infotainment screen from the toy aisle at Walmart.

This car is made in Japan, although it's very European in design, meaning it heavily biased towards sport, not utility. It's also running about 3 to 5 thousand more expensive than the competition, yet another market disadvantage is the cars lack of back seat room. And finally, I hate to say it, American taste is not understated for the most part. An airo package and paint graffics would probably move the car a little faster in the market
