@@jord9261 no it shouldn't. The glb is made to compete in the compact suv market such as bmw x1, xc40, Jaguar e-pace and audi q3. We don't speak of the gla and q2 and if we ignore them long enough hopefully those things would disappear

The Price is Not correct. In Germany it will start at 34.000€, so it‘s Not possible that it will start at 40.000 pounds in the UK 😅

The system says different things each time but the screen shows "how may I help you". How may I help you is the menu name, the system doesn't reflect what it says as written messages. So, it is just the way it is and nothing wrong with it.

In my opinion, this is actually one of the best looking Mercedes of 2019.
Well it’s subjective, but I think the exterior of this GLB is ugly. However the interior is really nice.

Fahad Mostafa No problem, I get it. Also this car looks really practical, if needed it has space for 7 people, but more comfortable for 4-5 passengers with a big storage. It’s not a big vehicle, but not too small either and perfect for concrete but also able to go on light offroad terrain.

Right, the all wheel drive system makes it possible. Also, there is good ground clearance too and the exhausts, finally no fake exhausts on a non AMG model.
I agree. I quite like it.
Hopefully someone makes a lift kit for it among other “offroading” accessories

So I've seen the test cars around and they all seem to have a portholestyle window between the c and d pillar. Is that just on the test vehicles or will there be some kind of special edition?
I like this GLB, but I'm partial to the XC40 since it's been my ride for the last year. I love it! I definitely want to see this in person though.
I liked the off road concept they had of the the GLB. Those overhead LEDs looked amazing

Wasn't convinced about this car from the camouflaged spy shots and renders, but the production version is probably the best looking of all the cars on this A Class platform, can't wait to see what the GLB45 will look like

It‘s the perfect Mercedes-Benz.
My grandfather is going to buy one, he told me because it’s easy to get into (at least in comparison to his current E-Class) and smaller, cheaper model with more space than for example an GLC (also in the trunk) because of the spacious method of construction. (And GLC would be a competitor for his current E-Class since the GLE is more expensive than his base model and you already have more space with a SUV).

0:38 Someone teach Matt that each GL model is a SUV based on a regular class so therefore GLB is a SUV based on B Class and not on A Class... There is the GLA based on A Class.
I dont usually like mini SUVs but the GLB looks sturdy, i like it

We took the GLB out for a test drive this past weekend. We also drove the Hyundai Palisade. Personally, I found the Palisade too big for me. I like the room, but I don’t feel comfortable driving huge SUVs. We also have an elderly parent living with us. So the height of the vehicle has to be taken into account. I think the GLB checked off all the items on my list. First, the car does not feel like a big SUV. Second, it’s the right height- you don’t have to climb into the car. Third, I have a short reach (not tall person) and not having to lean forward to access the touch screen was a big plus. MB offers (standard) a kind of mouse pad right were your right hand (US) rests. So I can access everything without having to move from my driving position at all. MB also offers like a Siri OS for the car. So you can do a lot of things via voice commands. Fourth, the 3rd row seat option means you don’t have to get into a larger SUV in order to get extra seating. I felt comfortable driving it and I though the handling and shift transitions were very smooth. I think MB did a great job with this vehicle and we’ll be leasing the GLB within the next couple of weeks

I love the GLB, it looks very nice. I am just wondering, is this the same architecture as the Nissan X-Trail and Renault Koleos? Especially the third row, seem awful alike the X-Trail third row. On top the strategy with 2 and 4 wheel drive is also identical to the Nissan / Renault approach, just like the X class of Mercedes, is this another joined car produced in the same factory?

Top Reviewer, listen buddy, 65k is nothing. I travel that far in a week. Try 165k or 265k
Obviously (and I read it here in the comments as well) people LOVED the GLK and its edged chunky design. The GLK sold like crazy because it looked totally different than all these other soft designed cars. And Im sure the GLB will sell just as good because its so edged as well. Its not my cup of tea but obviously a lot of people like this kind of design.
I wish they will release a version that uses the traditional longitudinal mount 45/55 4matic while maintain the same interior and exterior design in their next GLC release. Then I will immediately dish out my cash.

I still think it's the replacement for the GLK, remember that compact boxy thing, I think this is the replacement. Probably not but I think so.

GLK was replaced by GLC. This could’ve been a ‘grand’ B class but made more sense to make it an SUV market wise. It even shares the A and B Class’ platform.
