One thing I can say for certain now. I wasn't sure if the Synaptic a220 would ever see the light of day. But now that this has become an Inibuilds project. I'm certain we will see it now. This is really good news, because let's be honest, this plane was never going to get released at the rate they were going.
I still don’t see this plane ever being released. Just like the A380 by FBW will never be released…. They release a photo or two every six months. Now, every thing is on hold, until msfs 2024 is released…. Then ever will have to start all over again from scratch!

The a220 might be years out, because no doubt Inibuilds would probably prefer to release their a350 first and who knows if we’ll get that plane this year or next year, but one I know, inibuilds is starting to become a household name like PMDG.

The last update from Synaptic was nearly a year ago, and I think they would have struggled to get the aircraft out before 2024 released - and I think the project was at real risk of stalling out completely. Partnering with Inbuilds should speed up development considerably, and give us a good quality product. Plus now we're getting a -100, which is really the model I'd prefer. There are plenty of good 150ish seaters out there, but not many good 100 seaters - and certainly none as capable as the A220-100.
Inibuilds making the a350 other aircraft is like watching the Cold War 😂. Which comes first. Also does this lights addon work with aig models and FSLTL ?
Rather have a solid payware than mid freeware. Fresh news all around. Didn't expect that though, but given inibuilds have been pulling top of the shelf stuff lately, gets me excited
I don't really care because its still coming to the sim and it not like aerosoft pushing it back to when a new sim is being released because even though the a220 is a well anticipated project its not like areosoft telling us fake information

A freeware plane would have much less work put into it. It was why it was taking so long. A paid plane would have much higher fidelity and is much more likely to be released. If people wanted it enough, they could just...buy it. Not the end of the world.

Inibuilds doesn’t develop this plane they only help with Documentation and maybe give some tips for the Xbox version but they won’t be developing the systems or avionics for the a220
i honestly don't know why everyone so hyped about inibuilds their planes have been at best average so far on msfs was a major fan of all there xplane stuff. they just can't seem to pull the same off in msfs so far the a300 i have parked up, sick of the constant wibble wobble lnav it cant even follow a route near enough every flight it overshoots a waypoint and gets itself into a pickle i defo would not trust it on a long haul thats for sure. also they just cant seem to get the engine/cabin sounds right i really wish they would use boris audioworks etc for the sound implementation i find the sounds really lackluster on it they went from a must buy over on xplane to i dont think ill bother with anymore of there stuff on msfs just not upto the same quality as there xplane offerings.

Inibuilds have a close partnership with microsoft themselves which allows them to not make their add ons "super expensive" since they get compensated either way
