- Should you eat your exercise calories? Or rather, can you do so without throwing you off your goal? If you're using an Apple Watch (or comparable fitness tracker) with Lose It!... the answer is yes, possibly. But you don't have to.
Current weight: 214 lbs
Goal weight: 177 lbs
I'm using Lose it app and Apple Watch to track calories, track activity, eat sensibly and lose weight.

yea sir!! great video!! it’s what i have been telling people some people have listened and they see results but the ones that tell me no you
shouldn’t eat them don’t see results and sometimes gain weight even though they are trying to workout. i like the way tanner says it on his videos “Calories in vs calories out!! simple” .
i have been using the apple watch and i lose it app. i have lost 77 pounds hoping for 30 more this year in 2023. keep up the good work discipline is the key ingredient 💪
Fantastic! Let’s spread the knowledge. Cheers man, that’s great to hear. 👊
This was very helpful!
😃
Hi help me pls…..For Lose it app users, If target burn is the calories to burn to MAINTAIN WEIGHT, which one tells me how much to burn to LOOSE WEIGHT?
Target burn applies to both maintenance and losing weight. Just make sure you’re set to lose weight on your “Goals” tab, tap “Edit and then “Budget”.
Helpful. Thank you!
Great to hear, you’re very welcome! And thanks for commenting.
Nice video 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Thanks!
If I don’t eat the bonus calories will I stay at a stall
Not necessarily, it’s totally optional. Is your weight loss stalled now?
I keep thinking: at 200 bonus cals/day = another 1/2 lb. lost each week-- should work since I have 30# to spare, still? 🤣
Sure, obviously it all depends on how quickly you want to lose the weight.
