I was literally walking to my house in game years ago it was raining and I got ambushed by a bunch of mobs and I knew I should've digged a hole to stay overnight in because when I heard the music it sounded like the song was a warning saying "you won't be getting home tonight"
I had the same experience during my first nights during 2011. The music and ambient sounds are extremely creepy when they correspond to what is happening in-game.
You spawn into a world, everything made of blocks. You look around and see grass, chickens, pigs, sheep, cows and a tree. You decide to punch the tree and collect wood to craft your first crafting table, but accidentally craft a stack of sticks instead. Another tree ends up being punched and you finally end up making your crafting table, along with a wooden pickaxe and sword. You hear a spooky cave noise and find a small opening to a cave. You walk into the cave and find some coal and a random zombie that you kill. The zombie drops 2 Rotten Flesh and 1 Iron Ingot, so you waste the ingot on an iron shovel and not a shield. You decide to go out of the cave and go exploring, slaughtering cows and sheep along the way for food, wool and leather. A faint "Hrrm" can be heard in the distance and you stumble across a HUGE village. You decide to harvest potatoes from one of the farms, but a farmer villager ends up stealing your potatoes and replanting them... You decide to stop the villager from stealing your potatoes by punching them to death, but you hear a stomping noise and then you get flung into the air by the iron golem and die to fall damage. You start again by punching another tree and going back to the village, only to find the iron golem is still angry and is running right at you. You build a 3 block tall dirt tower and slap the iron golem to death and you get 3 iron ingots and a lonely red flower. It starts to get dark and creepers, skeletons, zombies, spiders and enderman start to spawn, so you craft your first bed and go to sleep in the village. You wake up and all the villagers have died from a zombie siege. All thats left in the village are cats and one baby villager that somehow survived the attack. You end up building the baby villager a small dirt hut with no door, no windows and 1 torch, but a creeper walks up to you and explodes, both killing you and the baby villager. *you then quit the game*
I like how at the top right it's say Minecraft Beta 1.3_01 yet it is pre Alpha 1.2.0 lime grass and there smooth lighting for some reason. This is cursed.
