thanks I served me a lot of help. greetings from Chile !!
Thank you! Finding these really handy right now 😊
That jump in difficulty from 30 to 31 is the very jump that killed my piano career.
Piece 29, my book has an f# as that penultimate RH note. Is this a sneaky natural from Bartók or should it be sharp like the rest of the piece?
Was very helpful. Are you planning someday to cover the other volumes? There are several recordings of them online, but none with such helpful blog posts explaining the technical themes.
+ghostzart Yep, I was planning on it someday! I'll keep that in mind and try to put the next one out in the nearish future. :)
@@PianotvNet Hey Allysia, are you still planning to do Mikrokosmos Vol.2? I think a lot of people would really appreciate it! I learned so much from your videos and blog posts :)
In exercise n.25 we have C# but you do not use it. Why?
the time has come for me to try exercise 22 and further and well, I think they sound better than earlier exercises, but also soo much difficult for me. I guess now I really have to read both lines. I'll pop up here again later when I practice more.
I found exercise 30 and beyond to be the biggest jump in difficulty.
I know what you mean now haha, but I'm doing it slowly. Got the vol 2 and will try it soon
Mikrokosmos is my favourite book for sure, I am still working on volume 1 to get the pieces upto speed. Another good book to check out is Kunz 200 short two-part canons, it's a bit more challenging than vol 1 but excellent for sight reading.
It would make it easier if the curser still moved with every beat rather thsn stopping on long notes.... one should still be feeling the pulse through long notes and also when reading the eye looks ahead so the scrolling to the next system goes way too slowly... its gets very frustrating when one is trying to read and the music doesn’t show until you start playing the note.....
Sei proprio convinta del numero 25????
Uhm... Wrong note with 25.
There is only one black tone.
Whoops! Good catch. I must've had the key of D in my head.
Oh yeah, that too, but also your pinky must be on the F key.
So it must be B - C# - D - E - F
Yes, that's what I meant. The key of D has a C# and an F#. So I saw the C#, and probably just assumed there would be an F# and played that by accident!
Yeah I understand now, sorry.
Back when I made that comment I was just beginning learning piano, but now I have a lot more knowlegde about music theory so that's why the confusion happened...
