Thanks for the video. Can you summarize the components that need to be removed? Can you also describe if it makes driving much harder since all power now goes to the rear, and it requires more finesse at throttle control?
no i was going to get one XD butwell. i came out to get a cheaper subaru.. like 3/4 out of the price of this one :D u should buy a higher volt battery :) cheers
If you leave the two dog bones connected to the front wheels you still have resistance from the diff. In my car the diff has a bracket that holds the top side of the frame on so I can’t remove the diff. Just do both for an all around better experience it’s nothing that hard.
As a DPL user, i can't do this, i can't find after market 4WD shafts for it, well, it makes sence since there hella rare these days, i mean, it's worth a whopping 12,000 Philippine Pesos here, it may be cheap to americans but my god, that's expensive
Your wasting energy to the prop shaft and to you front diff or whatever is up front so no If anything remove main prop and up like diff and dog bones so the motor just hit the spur to rear diff
I have problems with my PC.. and too much work with my job lol but soon I will put new videos. how to repair a quadcopter, race with 2 subaru impreza, some tests, etc! sorry guys!
If you turn it to front wheel drive, you can forget about drifting
yes haha
@Alexander Fitzpatrick steering??
Goes like: RUNNING IN THE 90TEEN
4 years later this vid was still usefull thx man
You're welcome my friend
Would it be worth it in a race car for concrete
6 years later and it's still useful man💖
Now 7 years
8 years jus found this thank you 🙏🏿
You might want to take out the center shaft and diff for max performance and less wear
i removed the center shaft had had to lock one side of the center diff but get considerably less power anything im doing wrong?

Fyre SG you just remove 2 cardans. Yes it is much harder to drive !
Can this work on Tamiya Chassis?
Does this make it faster since you are removing the power from the front?
Is it reversible to awd again
Yes sure
@@rclife7618 thanks
I have and ftx vantage and I make it 2wd by removing the centre shaft connecting front wheel to back
Hey there,
Just remove the shaft connecting diff, by removing dogbone shaft u vil loose steering alignment. Try once !
+chandu reddy I will try! thanks!
+chandu reddy yup lo ...removing dogbone shaft is fast...but....god bless
Is this bad for the car
this helped a lot! thank you
You welcome my friend
Does it matter if I don't have camber and profile on my tires on my RWD?
If I wanna drift of course ...
No problems if your car is fast enough to drift ;)
Put it in 2WD you'll see
PatnikDurp007_HD
Mine didn’t come out because it is inside it’s own component so now idk what to do
Oh I see.. if it is inside it is not the same problem
Don't open the car to try to do that
What size wheels do you have?
thanks i will take it useful, ordered a subaru on ebay, its coming on wednesday or thursday
+J4YTH3W1N __ you will see, it is very easy! you ordered the same? the subaru impreza by Carisma?

yeh xD
I’m trying the tomorrow thanks man
THANK U REALLY HELPED!!!
So happy to help you my friend !
Did you do it ?
just crack open the front diff and disconnect the center driveshaft and leave the motor and rear transmission free.
Other option yes
But harder for young guys

Sure!
I have same car as this and it’s the best rc car you can buy for me
Is that a XB tamiya WRC subaru impreza?
No
Does this affect any other parts in the car?
No :)
I just take out the gears in the front or rear of the car
Wouldn't doing it this way make it so that half of the power goes nowhere?
@john9410 john9410 alright, thanks!
Hello
The power is the same
But harder to drive straight haha
Perfect for drifting
Can you used gyro
Thank q so much
You welcome my friend
What rc brand was your car made by?
carisma
You can check for Himoto as well, very well done and lots of spareparts and upgrades available:

but now you also only have rear brakes
For me it is not a huge problem..
How much is this car
150euro

does it spend less battery?
I don't know haha
I don’t think so because it is still spinning
Finally can make my JGTC 350z not 4WD

Its faster???
ThierryPredator123 no. it is just to drift better
run a Gyro
seems there was a throttle cut-off and a bad servo at the end there ouch 😬
