- Hello and welcome to my latest flight sim video. In this video, I am answering a question put to me by a fellow sim user. He wanted to know how I set up the Chancellor to use NAV hold mode on a GTN750.
If you have any questions about any of the aircraft I feature and their systems then feel free to ask away.

I was searching everywhere for the 750 in my 414, didn't realise it was an addon....Doh! LOL!
Cheers for this one, and i'll say it again, oh that sound is lovely! ;)
Think I might need to show off the 414 again. I know its been updated since my last video
Easy when you know how
Thanks for the video
No worries dude. I had to look twice lol
@@CraftySimulations I'm ok with the G1000. In the TBM 850 the GPS mode is a physical button for the Garmin 750, I must've also been looking for a physical button in the 414 too.
If video count is anything to go by you must be enjoying the new Cows plane more than the 414 ?
@@onboardsimulations8304 I do like quite a lot of the GA aircraft on the sim, but for some reason I have really latched onto the DA42. It is teaching me so much and is and enjoyable aircraft to fly, not that the other twins are not.
@@CraftySimulations Cool. I'm sure in time I'll also buy it, but the new Black Square Duke is currently on my radar. I just need to be patient :)
@@onboardsimulations8304 ahh yes, I too am looking forward to the Duke being released
I flew this plane yesterday for the first time in months. It's a great plane indeed. I don't have the 750 so I use the 530. My route was VOR hopping from Walla Walla to Great Falls. After the Missoula VOR I loaded the ILS 03 approach into Great Falls thinking I could use GPS to navigate to the IAF, but for some reason the HSI would not work. I couldn't get rid of the horizontal flag and the CDI would not track the course. I tried switching back and forth from VLOC to GPS several times and I tried loading and activating the approach several times, but the HSI's CDI would not come alive.
Any idea what could cause this? It seems to be a bug when switching from radio navigation to GPS navigation, but I don't recall ever experiencing it before. Maybe something brought on by the recent updates to the C414 or maybe the Working Title updates?
Hi, I will have a look into that issue. Most of my time is spent using the GTN750 system but when im next off work I will try and replicate your setup and see what I get.
@@CraftySimulations Thank for looking into it. I did a few more mixed radio/gps routes since, and have not been able to reproduce it. A flight from Inverness to East Midlands and another from Nagasaki to Okinawa went without a hitch. I must have did something wrong but I can't think what it could be. I may try reflying the Walla Walla to Great Falls route sometime to confirm my suspicion.
@@tonyw9152 I am sorry to report I was not able to replicate your issue. Now I will be honest and say that cant remember the last time I used the 530.
